If you watched Inuyasha and were hoping to see a good sequel and how the 3 girls find their way around the feudal era.... Sorry to tell you but that does not happen.

Going off of 7 episodes thus far, this anime promised a lot with the trailers but didn't really deliver in my opinion. I enjoy horror/gore and action anime but when it doesn't have a plot then its rather boring to me.
The anime as we all know it, is a battle royale between the 12 zodiac warriors. They must all fight to be the last one standing and whoever is left alive wins and gets a wish granted. Alright so when my friend convinced me to watch this anime I thought because of the title hey its going to talk about video games! I got super excited by the opening because of the mini homage they did for Street Fighter which is an all time favorite game of mine. As I went on with actually sitting down and watching this it slowly began to irritate me and bore me.
Honestly the first 6 episodes are alright but get pretty bad as they go on. Out of the 5 characters Amano is the only one I was able to relate to during certain scenes. ...

So when people say they can't escape sports anime hell they mean it! I can attest to that, Ballroom e Youkoso is a sports anime that hasn't been seen much of or at all really. The animation is great and seeing all the work that was put into this anime is amazing. I appreciate the crews hard work and the creator for making this. It was a cute anime throughout, it reminded me a lot of galko-chan which I enjoyed. I haven't read the manga so I'll prob check it out to see if they expanded more on the mer-people. Overall it was enjoyable to watch and if anyone likes cute slice of life this is it. The style was appealing and the animation wasn't bad except when it came to other four legged animals that weren't the main character. I wasn't too big of a fan with the fan service in the last episode but I should have seen that coming with the opening.
