Meditation, spiritualism, softness, kindness. An stressful life can be difficult to handle: but these two titles offer a compelling way to just sit back and relax. Not too complex nor mindless, simply a watch that ensures you a satysfing moment and leaves you with a void after it ends. If one can acquire addiction to something: Aria and Mushi-Shi are the healthiest ones. Differences, though, are that Aria leans towards a far more "sunshine", moé Sci-Fi setting with an optimistc message; while Mushi-Shi is about metaphorical lessons of life, not afraid of being a bit tough when it needs to.

Ergo Proxy

Worlds were the technology causes giant, hazardous negligence towards concepts that are 'outside' the bigger picture. Lain is more relatable and even prophetic, as it develops its themes through the modern concept of the Internet. On the other hand, Ergo Proxy is heavy on biopunk and philosophical intrigue. Both share characters that are desperately attempting to find the answers of their own existence, yet having an almost completely opposite sense of progression.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica

A group of young people struggling to defeat mysterious foes, as they realize and therefore try to overcome the many dangers and sacrifices their situation puts them on. They differ, though, on their elements: Evangelion with the mecha genre and Madoka with the magical girl ambiance. NGE has a much more serious and meaningful touch to it, regarding psychology and philosophy; while Madoka is more focused on keeping the mood darker and gripping for the most part. Both share a controversial ending.
