Chainsaw Man provides an experience like no other. At every turn, Ryu Nakayama surprised me with his unique take on a story I must've already read ten times over. And though some may critique the cinematic approach, I personally found it endearing all the way through. Not because I'm some movie buff, but because it allowed me to experience and enjoy Chainsaw Man for the first time all over again. The CGI is an after thought, and at worst noticeable. Whereas the sakuga fests spliced inbetween serve to consistently set the bar of what an anime should look like.
