Both series involve historical and mythological characters being reincarnated and fighting in a loosely norse myth inspired setting and have great artwork. Defintely check it out for a more underrated manga with a strong artstyle and fun fights

Absurd fast paced and over the top mecha battles with dynamic action and awesome designs. Characters with a similar "who the hell do you think I am" attitude.

If you like dark stories, politics, action, realistic characters, lot's of deaths, and psychological themes both do this well. Shingeki no Kyojin is the kind of story that brings you down with it's messages, not without hope but not optimistic either. Chainsaw man's fundamental message is simple, accessible, powerful, and uplifting. Thus, the contrast in mood between mostly depressing and mostly hopeful the two complements one another perfectly.

Gurren Lagann is a spiritual sequel to NGE. Although tonally opposed, both series share numerous themes and character archetypes. Shinji may be seen as the direct inspiration for Simon. The themes take the root of Evangelion and develop them further. People may call it the "Anti-Evangelion" but I think it is more like a sequel. In this way, Evangelion-->End of Eva--->Gurren Lagann-->Rebuild of Eva, are all part of one continuous story.

...then you might like Kidou Senshi Gundam: The Origin add

This is the most similar series to Code Geass i've seen, far more than Death Note or other more common comparisons. Both have genius main characters plotting revenge against an imperial family who hurt their parent. Both Char and Lelouch are nobility and talented mecha pilots who have innocent little sisters, who take on alternate identities and mercilessly betray and manipulate for their goals. Both series deal with themes about war, imperialism, politics, and racism.

Both are Mature series with a focus on philosophy and human nature. Both are gory and extremely violent with realistic characters and a serious tone. The art in both series is detailed and often stunning.

...then you might like Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic add

Both series have fun characters and a focus on detailed worldbuilding. If you like the political aspects of One piece, Magi is the perfect follow up. Both series take a while to get going but pay off big time in their mysteries and suspense
