All Out!! (Anime) add
I just finished this anime and decided it was worthy of a review. I have not read the manga yet and I will try and make this as spoiler free as possible.
I am a fan of sports anime and decided to give this one a try and am glad I did.
As far as sports anime go this one followed my rules as in making it easy to follow the sport (rugby) and room for character growth. I personally love it when background characters have their time to shine and this one does that and then some.

I have not read the manga, this is an anime only review. I will try to keep this as spoiler free as possible.

I have been meaning to watch Hotarubi no Mor e as I was very hopeful that it would become a favorite and thankfully I was not wrong.

The story is a very simple one. the characters are straight forward and easy to follow. For a short 45 minutes you are transported to a forest of a mountain god and learn the story of a young girl Hotaru and her mysterious friend Gin.

There isn't a lot of time for ups and downs, there is a universal message to this beautifully told story. to quote Alfred Lord Tennyson... " 'Tis better to have loved and lost than never ...
