This is only after the first episode so I'm giving scores based on my expectations based on only 10 minutes of content but assuming it fulfills it's potential as a series the scores should be pretty accurate.
When I first read that it was adapted from a guide book I was expecting something with little to no plot and focusing on an educational aspect. However while it isn't developing plot like you usual story it does seem to be building a interesting story and setting.
This anime definitely focuses on comedy, having completely irrational situations with a normal rational main character.
One thing that annoyed me was the
...
censoring, all words involving sex or anything about that were dubbed over with strange comments making it kind of hard to follow the conversation (text was censored as well).
Art was good, it wasn't ultra pretty or anything but it matched the mood well and didn't take away any enjoyment from the anime. Censors didn't remove any enjoyment from the anime.
Nothing wrong with any voice acting, nothing too special but all around good sound. Though there is the problem with the censoring but again not a big deal.
Characters had depth, actions seemed reasonable for their positions and personalities.
The comedy aspect of the anime made it quite enjoyable.
Overall very good, worth watching so far, looking forward to more episodes and hoping they bring out the story's potential.
