I know this is a hentai and it isn't very story driven but this was absolutely stupid is so many ways. So it's incest which is already crazy (not here to kink shame) but the way it goes about happening is just mind bogglingly idiotic. So the Male Lead has a girlfriend that he's in love with and just started fooling around with but hasn't had s*x with her yet, and his older sister is the council president and the school idol so she gets lots of confessions so she decided to have a classmate act as her boyfriend but is secretly in love with

I watched Farming Life In Another World (Farming Life from now on) just because I wanted to watch something that wasn't action oriented and was easy to watch because I've been reading more manga than watching anime lately. So I honestly wasn't expecting too much but it was more than just an easy watch, it was very funny and had a story that felt good to watch. Recently isekai anime has been a lot of formulaic and repeating tropes that belong in the bargain bin. Fortunately farming isekai anime hasn't quite reached that point yet, for me atleast.
Story - 6.8/10 - The story is ... about Hiraku the MC who was Isekai'd into the New World because he had died on Earth while in the hospital. He wound up meeting God after his death and gets the chance at a new life but before he leaves, God gives him an extremely healthy and sturdy body because during his previous life on Earth he had an overly weak and sickly body. God also gives Hiraku a magic item that he uses as tools for farming. Because the MC wants to live his life away from other people, God decides to put the MC in a forest away from civilization at his request. Unfortunately he makes a mistake and drops Hiraku in the middle of a place called "the death forest" but thankfully because of the magic tool, the MC can turn the magic item into any tool and his extraordinarily healthy body he has no issues in the forest. He soon finds a plot of land and begins to cultivate and build up his farm. At first Hiraku is alone but it's not too long before he runs into a few wolf monsters that are injured so he takes them in. Not long after that is when he starts to yearn to intelligent conversation and eventually he gets his wish and the 1st and 2nd tertiary characters, Lu and Tia. After Lu and Tia join the MC is when the characters just keep joining pretty much every episode but only a couple of them are side characters, the rest are just background characters. Actually now that I think about it, it started to seem like a Harem anime but then I remembered that at the beginning when God reincarnates the MC and asks what kind of life he wanted to live. The MC said he wanted to try farming because he watched a program on T.V. that was about idol girls farming lol so that's why it's only attractive women that show up at and live on the farm. It's funny but also the story is relatively relaxing and there is barely any conflict at all. There may be a few misunderstandings between characters but nothing that leads to crazy fights, only funny situations. I think there is potential for a little more political storyline similar to How a Realist Hero Rebuilt a Kingdom but that wouldn't be until further in the story. In my opinion it's an easy to follow story and leaves the viewer feeling good after watching a few episodes. Animation - 7/10 - Farming Life really isn't going to blow anyone away with its animation but in my opinion it doesn't disappoint either. The colors were nice and vibrant while not being photo realistic it was still realistic in the fact that everything looked the way it was supposed too and few of the scenes were done really well. A lot of the food looked good and looked like the real world version. Also the animation style leans a little towards the simple side but not so simple that it made it look bad. The studio is Zero-G that has done a few other anime that were of a similar vein, a few slice of life anime the rest were comedy and romance plus a few random. Also it was produced bt AT-X which has been involved in a couple hundred different projects so that explains the quality. There is magic in this anime but it doesn't really go into detail about the system, just that it has the base set of healing magic and the 4 elements magic. The magic effects were ok but nothing too over detailed, probably because it was only used for minor tasks. Another good thing was that the animation was consistent throughout the season, which nowadays is a bonus. The animation for the OP was good, it did a good job at showcasing the characters we meet throughout the season without any spoilers. The animation for the ED is that stylized to look more simple but it has a cute chibi look to it, I enjoyed it and I'm not one that watches the OP & ED regularly. Sound - 8/10 - I found that the soundtrack and background music is really good. The OP is very warming and I felt that it was welcoming the viewer to the anime. The ED was also upbeat and had soothing sound to it. It sounded like the OP and ED had the same vocalist and composer. All the background music and SFX throughout the anime were done really well too. The background music helped add to the scenes and made everything better. Characters - 9/10 - The characters were definitely my favorite part of the anime and was really the reason why I scored this anime the way I did. The Voice Actors for both the English dub and the original Japanese did really great jobs and helped bring life and emotion to the characters. I only watched the first half with subtitles but I really enjoyed it and will probably finish watching it again with subtitles. The first time I watched it though was in the English dub and I watched all 12 episodes and really enjoyed the Voice Actors. The characters had a more simple design but were still done well and I especially liked the little chibi cut scenes of the characters doing random things. It just helped in giving this anime a somewhat unique feeling. My favorite character was the MC Hiraku and then just the variety of other characters were fun and I liked pretty much every character in some way. Enjoyment - 9/10 - When I started watching Isekai Nonbiri it was because I was thinking it would be a relaxing watch and I was correct but it was much more than relaxing. It was funny and in a weird way it was also comforting. All the characters have their own personalities and I liked how well they worked together. I also thought that this anime has a lot of potential to be just as good or even better as the story goes further and further. I already mentioned my favorite character but I also like the animal characters that were around the farm, the part where it shows how the wolves ended up there was cool and one of the wolves even had an inner monologue describing everything. I'll try not to give to much away but one thing that kind of threw me off was when one of the characters gets sick near the end but it turns into a different situation lol and I felt it kind of came out of nowhere. I'm guessing it was different in the source material but had to be changed because of time constraints in the anime. I just felt that before the character just shows up sick in one episode, we hadn't even seen them very much in the previous couple episodes so it made it feel even more random. That might just be my opinion though, it's not like it ruined or even changed my enjoying this anime. Overall - 8/10 - I think it's a really good anime that's enjoyable and easy to watch. It leans more towards Slice of Life than anything else so it isn't as fast paced and somewhat hectic as other Isekai. I hope it gets a second season because when the MC Hiraku was reincarnated at the beginning and he was talking to God it was mentioned that Hiraku didn't have the best life and I would like to maybe know more about that in the future. It's a good change from all the run of the mill isekai that has come out lately. I enjoyed it enough that I'm actually in the middle of watching the original subtitled version now, but that's just me. It's a good anime that I honestly think a lot of people would enjoy. Just give it a shot if you like easy going anime or just need a change of pace.

I'll start saying that Blood Lad wasn't quite what I was expecting, in a good way though. I really wasn't expecting it to be an overly serious anime but it was bordering on parody and I'm not usually into that kind of comedy so it through me off at first but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.
Story - 6.9/10 - The story was decent and was written pretty well. It's about a Vampire named Staz Charlie Blood that goes by Staz and a human teenage girl named Fuyumi. Staz is an delinquent otaku vampire that absolutely loves Japanese culture especially anything anime and ... manga related and he lives in the Demon World. On the other hand, Fuyumi is a cheerful highschool girl from Earth who accidentally finds her way into the Demon World. Once in the Demon World she meets Staz and shortly after she ends up unable to return back to Earth because of an incident. The story is basically Staz and Fuyumi going around the Demon World trying to find a way to get Fuyumi back to Earth so Staz can live his dream of going to Japan and buying tons of merchandise. There's so much random funny things and small parodies that act as an homage to other anime. One such moment is when Staz does a special move of one of his favorite manga characters which is Goku and does a Kamehameha which is one of my favorite moments. The jokes and humor were definitely unique and probably not for everyone but it was one of my favorite parts for sure. It's basically the characters getting into a bunch shenanigans that don't really feel like they have any consequences for but actually are quite impactful towards the plot. Everything seems connected and a few thing from the early episodes end up paying off in the later episodes. It has an open ending that continues in the OVA so I'm guessing they were hoping for a 2nd season and it could still happen especially since a lot of anime is getting new seasons after ending multiple years ago and there is plenty of source material that actually has a definitive ending. Animation - 6.8/10 - This anime is from 2013 and has a somewhat stylized animation style that I thought was ok. A few little tweaks and I would have given it a 7. The backgrounds were a little flat and I didn't really see or feel the depth. It didn't give off any realistic vibes and it didn't really give me a feeling that it could be a real place. The colors were toned down slightly except for the action scenes where the characters movement was more dynamic. Other scenes that seemed to pop were whenever they paid "homage" to any other anime, it seemed like they took extra care when animating those scenes. Another thing about all the references to other anime and manga helps the viewer immerse themselves in watching and waiting to catch the next reference. As for the OP & ED visuals, they were actually very good I thought. The OP did a good job showcasing the characters and some of their abilities without spoiling anything major. I usually find that the older the anime the less likely they have any special or unique visuals during the OP & ED but surprisingly enough, Blood Lad had a fairly unique OP. As for the ED, that had a few little clues as to what happens later in the anime but nothing so overt that it ruins any revelations later on. The main Studio for this project was Brain's Base that has done quite a few other good anime and it's produced by KlockWorx and 2 other good studios so I'm surprised it didn't get multiple seasons. Sound - 7/10 - This is the one category that I never really know how to review. I thought that the music and SFX for this anime were pretty good and helped set the mood for the scenes. The soundtrack for the OP was good in my opinion and had an upbeat tempo and really helped get the viewer ready for what was to come in the episode. The soundtrack for the ED was more of a love song especially if you read the lyrics. It helps set up the prospect of a relationship between Staz, Fuyumi and a 3rd character. The SFX for this anime were more prevalent and were used more often especially during fight scenes and when characters did their over the top special attacks. It was done as an homage to other anime with characters that yell out their attacks as they use them and the name of the attack pops up on screen in a weird font and it just added to the anime. Also the use of background music and the soundtrack for Blood Lad was good and made watching it more enjoyable. Characters - 7.5/10 - The characters in Blood Lad were done very well and were most definitely my favorite aspect of this anime. The characters that all play a role were fairly flushed out and I felt it did a good job at getting the viewer to know them better in order to gain some kind of attachment to them. I thought that Staz was a good MC and I really enjoyed his character, mostly the fact that he's a proud otaku that proudly boasts about his collection of Japanese Manga, Anime, figures and anything pop culture related. Fuyumi was cute and funny, what else can you ask for!? Bell was also cute and was very mischievous, which is a great quality lol. Then Staz's siblings were good too, his brooding but nerdy older brother and his little sister that just wants to be acknowledged and receive head pats from her older brothers. Even all the side characters and extra characters had a certain quality about them that just added to the anime. All the characters were designed well and didn't really feel out of place. As for the Voice Actoring, I watched the English dub at first and I'm a predominantly English dub watcher unless I fell the Voice Actors don't quite fit the role. The English Voice Actors did a good job I thought but I did end up watching some of the original subtitled version and honestly I liked both versions. I felt that both English and Japanese voice actors did well with the characters and making them feel real in a sense. If I were to recommend which version to watch it would just depend on the viewers taste and preferences but I think either choice is reasonable. I myself tend to watch the dubbed version first, that way I can pay closer attention to the animation and if I really enjoyed the anime, I'll rewatch it with subtitles and pay closer attention to the dialogue. Plus I always find with action heavy anime that if I watched it with subtitles I tend to miss some action sequences and when I watch the animation I might miss some dialogue. It all comes down to viewer preferences in the end. Enjoyment - 7/10 - I definitely enjoyed watching this anime especially not really knowing anything about Blood Lad other than the synopsis that was given. I enjoyed the comedic aspects of the anime and all the references to other anime that I recognized were great. I also liked the flow of the episodes and how usually every episode picked up right where the previous episode ended without any hiccups. The characters were funny any interesting for the most part. One thing I will say though is that it was a little short being only 10 episodes long and I felt that it could have fit more information in if it had the extra 2 episodes. Also it had an OVA that picked up immediately after the 10th episode ended so I don't know why it wasn't just added to the season. Other than that though, I found Blood Lad fairly interesting and definitely enjoyable. Overall - 7/10 - I thought it was a good anime that at the end left me wanting more and thinking about reading the source material. That's definitely one of the the things I look at when giving my overall rating, if an anime left me with feelings of wanting more then that's a plus. I would have preferred a second season but I'm sure I'll get around to reading the manga seeing how it's less than 100 chapters, it won't take more than a day or two for me to finish it depending on if it grabs my attention or not. I have to be careful when choosing what to read especially if it's over 100 chapters because I have OCD where if I start a series, whether it's anime manga or anything else, since I start I have to finish it. It's probably the reason why I haven't watched any anime with more than 100 episodes either lol. Anyway I'm getting off topic, overall Blood Lad was a good anime in my opinion and worth a watch for anyone who likes anime that doesn't take itself seriously and has a decent sense of humor. Well that review got way longer than I expected. If you read until the end, I commend you for your attention span lol most people would have seen the length and said "F that" so I appreciate it. Hopefully the next review of mine will be an abridged version.

Here I am writing this review for the 2nd time having just re-watched the 1st season again because the new season finished airing a while ago and with my anime OCD and poor memory, I had to start from the beginning. I then looked to see if I had left a review because I'm undertaking a ridiculous task of reviewing all the anime I watch and I realized the review I previously left was one of the reviews I wrote that my opinion had changed. Record of Ragnarok is a fighting tournament anime that's ment basically for entertainment orientated viewers rather than viewers who enjoy
...
story and substance more. There's nothing deep or introspective about RoR unless it went over my head, which isn't impossible either. I've seen a few reviews of people calling this anime trash and other things, and I know people have their own likes and dislikes about anime but this anime is far from trash and I think calling it trash is just personal bias but that's just my opinion. I'll get started on my review now.
Story: - 7.5/10 - the story isn't anything super crazy or complicated but I thought it was decent for the premise the anime has. The main storyline is that the Gods are all tired of humanity and are contemplating the complete destruction and erasure of the human race. The Gods are lead by the Greek God Zeus along with other Gods from different religions around the world. Right before the final decision is made, the Gods meeting is interrupted by a Demi God by the name of Brunnehilde the leader of the Valkyries. She then suggests that the Gods are trying to eliminate humanity without any sort of trial because they are ultimately afraid of humanity. This then angers the Gods and Brunnehilde seeing an opportunity, suggests a tournament of power to decide the fate of all humanity. A 13 vs 13 battle where the 1st to win 7 times wins the tournament, if the Gods win humanity is eliminated for all eternity and if the humans win they get to live for another 1000 years. Ofcourse the Gods accept. So that's the main storyline of RoR so far although it does seem like there could be other side plots that could come into play eventually. So far it's a fairly basic storyline but where this story shine the brightest, for me anyways is all the characters personal back stories. They're all interesting and help the viewer get an idea of what each fighter is putting their soul on the line for, especially on the side of humanity because the Gods are just fighting because they seem bored. That was my perspective anyway. The fighters are all well known God's and for humanity the fighters are all famous historical figures from the earth's past, some aren't even typical fighters. An example for humanity is Lü Bü who was a famous Chinese warlord from around 160 A.D. and for the Gods an example is Thor, a famous Mythological Norse God. There are also some other surprising characters from the side of humanity that I didn't expect from later on in the story and some aren't the typical fighter. If anyone has seen the anime Drifters, that's what RoR reminds me of somewhat. It isn't a complicated story to follow and can be watched as a brain break or just to enjoy a nice punch'em up anime. One thing that I can say I wish was handled different is the pacing of the anime, at times it felt like the fights just dragged on a touch too long. I understand that they needed to have backstory for the characters in each episode but the season was 12 episodes and we got 3 fights, that's 4 episodes per fight. If they would have restructured the episodes and had 1 full episode for character backstory, we could have had 2 full episodes of fighting. That way the viewers might have gotten a 4th fight in the 1st season instead of 3. But who knows. Art: - 7.2/10 - the animation is another thing that I've seen other reviews saying it was trash and that's just not true. I'll be the first to admit that it isn't anything spectacular but it's definitely not trash. Sometimes I think people review anime on a scale of trash to great with nothing in between which is a stupid scale lol. All the unique Gods and human spectators were drawn to be recognized most of the time although there were a few times where it showed the audience in the background of the fighters and it wasn't as clear which is understandable because they don't want the viewers eyes to wonder from the action. I will agree with other reviews though that the fights weren't the super crazy action filled fights that are in other anime like JJK or AOT but that's not unexpected seeing how the studio behind RoR is Graphinica. The only anime that I've seen from them is Hellsing Ultimate and nothing with a huge budget. They fought in what looked like a Roman colosseum that could change based on the fighters, which was cool. Also the fights weren't really what I expected coming from an anime that's basically all fighting. We did get to see a few cool signature moves from cool characters though which is something I appreciate. As for the OP, it had some pretty cool visuals that showcased the characters without any spoilers which is always a plus for me and the ED also had good visuals that focused more on locations rather than characters, plus it had a more chill vibe while also setting the tone for the following episode. Sound: - 8/10 - for me, the sound staging for this anime was really good. All the SFX and the background music or musical scoring that was used were so good and really helped hype up the moments they were used in. There was a scene at the end of the 1st fight that had the music swelling up and giving hope to the audience just to have the sound drop out at the last second to reveal the outcome. It was great lol. The music was used very well in this anime and I got goosebumps multiple times just from the use of music at integral points in each episode. The SFX were also on point and made injuries and attacks sound all the more impactful to the viewer. Also the OP and ED both had really good soundtracks that in my opinion fit the anime very well. Characters: - 8.3/10 - the characters were definitely my favorite part about this anime. They were all recognizable characters from earths history and mythology which was pretty cool and interesting to see. All the characters so far have had really great designs that include items and weapons they were known to carry or use. The voice acting done for all the characters was also very good and both the English and Japanese voice actors did a great job. My favorite was definitely Sasaki Kotaro, by far lol. So far I honestly can't say there was any characters that I didn't enjoy. Now that I think about it, the character designs had a little bit of a JoJo look to them but that might have just been the animation style that was used. Enjoyment: - 8.8/10 - I really enjoyed this anime quite a bit. It was definitely entertaining and had characters that were easily recognizable and enjoyable to watch and were easy to root for. I enjoyed the fights, although the pacing could have been a little better. The fights also weren't the most spectacular but for the budget and the studio that was used, it was good. The experience was still enjoyable for me and one thing I really did enjoy was the characters backstories, even though I do feel they did effect the pacing at times I still really liked that aspect. Overall: - 7.9/10 - basically an 8 lol. In my previous review I believe I rated it 9/10 so not that big of a change but definitely more realistic. Now that I've watched more anime and have a grasp of what I like and what my tastes are, it's much easier to write a review and share my thoughts more clear and concise. After watching Record of Ragnarok for the 2nd or 3rd time I've definitely changed my review but not my opinion on this anime. I still find it enjoyable and interesting so in the end, that's all that really matters. I just hope that others will also enjoy it and go into watching it unbiased and with an open mind. I know people each have their own preferences and this anime won't be for everyone, I just hope you give it a chance. For my recommendation I put Mixed Feelings just because that's what I put for all anime reviews now because I just feel that if you read my review then you know my opinion and can make a decision for yourself and now I only recommend anime that I feel EVERY anime fan should watch atleast once in their lifetime. Well, that was my review for Record of Ragnarok. If you read it until the bottom I appreciate it and I hope my review helped in some way. When I do a review I tend to look towards what I liked about the anime I'm reviewing rather than what I didn't like and I think that's part of what I dislike about reviews. The fact that most reviews are biased is just a fact but that doesn't mean that a good reviewer has to write just about what they liked but rather they can put their personal bias aside for the moment and see what was done well. For me, a good review has both pros and cons but puts it in an interesting and respectful way. It's good to remember that in the end, anime is art and art is subjective and can be seen from different perspectives. I feel I'm getting better with every review I do so my older reviews may be changed eventually. I hope you enjoyed my review, if so please feel free to check out any of my other reviews.

I was quite surprised at how much I actually enjoyed this anime to be honest. I didn't expect it to be as funny as it was and pretty much everything else was to my liking as well. Hopefully I can keep my review from getting out of hand and going too long so I'll get started.
Story - 7.8/10 - the story is about Mashe Burndead, and his journey to living a peaceful life with his pops. The world they live in is full of magic and ones own status is determined by how much magical power you possess and unfortunately for the MC Mashe, he ... has 0 magical power. Lucky for him though, he has been weight lifting and training and absurd amount since he was a child and this enables him to pull off feats that to the public look like magic. In the 1st episode Mashe goes into town for his favorite food (creampuffs) and the fact he is without magic is quickly recognized because all people with magic have a marking on the face. Unfortunately for Mashe, humans without magic are quickly snatched up by the kingdom and either killed or segregated so their magic-less blood doesn't taint the kingdom and the world. The fact that Mashe and his Pops are in danger is the reason why a guardsmen who attempted to arrest Mashe but sees his abilities decides to convince Mashe to join the Magic Academy and prove non magic users are worthy too. Mashe moves into the dorm at school and meets a few friends and an admirer, unwanted as she may be. Throughout the season is the normal stuff you see in anime like this, there's a bully that bugs Mashe roommate and 1st friend that gets resolved and then there's the rival who misunderstands the MC at first but eventually become 1 of the group. The comedic aspect of Mashle is good and isn't too serious, it pokes fun at itself along with a few other anime. The action scenes were done well also and the Magic system seems somewhat unique but it's tough to get a good impression of every thing on the 1st watch so I may find more things on the next watch. At the same time, there isn't really anything I can think of that I didn't like, if i do think of something I'll edit the review. Art - 7.5/10 - the animation is good boarder line very good which isn't a big surprise seeing that the studio behind Mashle is A-1 Pictures. They've done too much to name and mist of it is good, even if the story isn't the most compelling you can almost always count on the animation. I'm not sure if it was done as an homage or as a joke but it had a few JoJo references with how the characters faces looked when they over reacted lol. I liked the character designs and how their magic power manifests as lines on the face and the more lines you have, the greater the Magic ability is supposed to be. Not to mention it reminded me of the characters from Dr.Stone. The characters magic abilities were unique to each character and a few of the Magic abilities also reminded me of JJK, but that might have been just me. Lastly the animation for the OP and ED were both good, first the OP animation wasn't just music with random highlights from the anime cut together but actually introduced each character without spoiling anything while still giving the viewer a taste of what a few characters powers are and the ED was the main characters getting ready then going out in town but it looks like April is attempting to have a date with Mashe. Then the rest is a choreographed little dance with the characters while singing about the official snack of Mashle, Cream Puffs! Plus the credits lol. Sound - 7/10 - this is probably my least important and least favorite category for reviews lol because there usually isn't much to say. That being said, the sound for Mashle was ok. The soundtrack for the OP and ED were both nice and upbeat which helped set the tone for the anime. It lets the viewer know it isn't going to be insanely serious, while not being corny or sound like 90% of other soundtracks. The OP sounds like an original track for this anime, it's like upbeat rock music, maybe pop-rock. It fits this anime for sure. The ED is more like pop music but also sounds original and fits the anime well. I'll always feel that having original songs for the OP and ED is a plus even though it may seem unimportant but I think they really help set expectations, which can be good or bad. Characters - 7.9/10 - the characters in this anime are definitely my favorite part, even more so than the comedic aspects. Each character is unique and had little touches that make them recognizable to the viewer. They also all have their quirks that make them enjoyable for the viewer to enjoy. For the 1st watch, I watched the dubbed version and all the voice actors did a really good job making the characters more enjoyable. I recognized a few voices that I've heard in other anime, one of the "bad" guys was voiced by an actor that usually had the MC voice role so it through me off at first lol. When I rewatch it with the original subtitles I'll edit my review to add my thoughts on the Japanese voice acting. Enjoyment - 9/10 - I found that I really enjoyed this anime a lot and I'm glad I watched it. I went into it with moderate expectations and just thought it was going to be along the lines of The Wise Mans Grandchild but it was much better. I'm not saying I dislike Wise Mans Grandchild because I actually enjoy that anime too but I did think it would be more repetitive and pretty the same anime with different characters. I'm glad I was wrong. I laughed quite a bit while watching Mashle and enjoyed it so much that I basically watched it in 1 sitting. I'm excited for the 2nd season already. I say this for a lot of the anime I watch but Mashle can be watched by basically any one who enjoys anime especially if you enjoy this genre. Overall - 7.8/10 - it's a good anime to watch. I always say it but I'll say it again, don't be biased over what an anime might look like or how many similar anime are out already. I can think of a few things I enjoyed but I honestly can't think of anything that I didn't enjoy about this anime. The pacing wasn't too fast or too slow, the characters were introduced at a good pace as well. The episode didn't feel too cluttered and had a nice flow to them which made watching them one after another much easier and enjoyable. For me, it's just shy of an 8/10, so that's good. I hope that my review wasn't too long and I hope you found it useful. I tried not to go too long but I seem to have forgotten that during the review lol. I'll start by saying that I liked this anime and it was reincarnation anime not to be confused with isekai although reincarnation is a subgenre of isekai I believe. I'll also say both Japanese with subtitles and the dubbed version are both good too although I did prefer the subtitled. Review starts now.
Story - 7/10 - the story was good and felt pretty balanced with the comedy and drama along with the action. It's about a demon lord named Varvatos who is so much stronger than everyone around him so he decides to reincarnate himself 3000 years later as a boy by the name of ... Ard Meteor. His main reason for reincarnation is so he can have a true friend but later in the season we learn that there were more reasons for him going through with it. I did get somewhat confused for an episode or so around so 9 but it was cleared up soon after, not sure if the confusion was me or the story lol. Art - 7.2/10 - the animation was good for the genre and I find the style common but not something that i dislike. There were some descent fight scenes that were animated very well. The studios are Silver Link and Blade which have done quite a few other anime I've seen and enjoyed which are similar in one way or another. The OP had a good animation and showcased the characters without having any overt spoilers and the ED was the credits with the characters being shown again but in more of a playful way. The magic in the anime was also animated very well that looked like geometric shapes and runes of different colors as the spell was being cast then the effects were done, including fire, lightning, water and wind. The backgrounds were also done well but it wasn't anything too crazy and ornate. Sound - 6.9/10 - the sound for this anime was ok but nothing I can really give a high score too. The OP had an ok soundtrack but it wasn't really my taste, it seemed like it was trying to be rock but couldn't quite get it to work. Definitely not as bad as some others I've heard before and it did have lyrics and sounded like it could be original to this anime but I'm not positive. The ED was toned down quite a bit but it sounded like it was done by the same group that did the OP but again I'm not positive. I enjoyed the ED more than the OP but that's just my tastes. The SFX throughout the anime were done well and I don't really have any complaints but I did enjoy the sound the magic circles made as they were activated, to me it sounded magical lol. Characters - 7.5/10 - I really enjoyed the characters in this anime, especially when I made the switch over to the original subtitled version because the characters had a much different impression when i compared the 2. I also found it much more funny than the dubbed version, I especially liked Sylphie and just how childishly innocent she was and was also super cute and funny. Although if i had to pick a Waifu from this anime then it would 100% be Olivia lol. She was on my favorites list awhile back but got bumped but if I expand my favorites list to 20 she would be on it. Enough jokes for now, I thought the characters were well written and the voice actors made them feel more real to me and helped me enjoy the anime more. The voice actor for Ard was very good as well as Ginny and Ireena's voice actors. The English voice actors were also good for the character but I just felt that for some, their voices didn't fit a few of the characters and that was why I switched to subtitled. Usually I watch the dub 1st and if enjoyed the anime then I rewatch it in subtitles at a later date. Also I feel that sometimes I can miss some of the anime if i have to pay attention to subtitles the 1st time, so I find in the 2nd watch there is less chance of missing the moment. One more thing is that sometimes the English dialogue is different than the Japanese dialogue and watching both, the viewer can pick up on different nuances. While I do enjoy both dubbed and subtitled versions, the subtitled version is the original and usually gives the better experience in my opinion. Enjoyment - 7.8/10 - i really enjoyed watching this anime and although it is my 2nd time watching It, I think u enjoyed it more this time because I watched the original subtitled version and I found it much funnier than I did the 1st time I watched this anime. The characters were my favorite part of this anime along with the animation. It's not my favorite animation style or genre but I try to keep an open mind going into the anime I watch and I'm glad I watched this anime and it might even be worth watching again in a year or more. Considering how bad my memory is and the fact i didn't really remember much from the last time I watched It, I doubt it will be any different in 6 months lol. I wouldn't mind seeing a 2nd season of this anime if it were to come out, I'm pretty sure it has enough source material. Overall - 7.3/10 - so it's basically a 7 when I found it down so I guess I felt the same as I did when I watched it the 1st time because 7 is the score I gave it before my review. Also I won't even review an anime until it's been watched more than 1 time. Anyway back on track, it's a good anime to watch when you're just relaxing around the house or if you don't want to start a multi season anime or if you're in the middle of a longer anime and need a break or if you just enjoy this genre of anime or all anime in general than I'm sure you will enjoy this anime. It can honestly be watched by almost anyone as long as their not picky or too young. It isn't crazy complex but at the same time isn't just obvious to the viewer. The Japanese voice acting is very good and if recommend if you've only watched the English dubbed version then give the subtitled version a try unless subtitles aren't for you. Plus if you're like me and like to read the source material of the anime you enjoy and there's no 2nd season then this anime has plenty of source material, both manga and Light Novels. I hope you enjoyed my review and found it helpful in some way or another. I apologize if a fee of the sections were a little long but I find it hard to hold back sometimes when I'm talking about something I enjoy. I've been writing more reviews lately and I'm trying to get to the point where each category is more or less the same size and not too much of a mess to read. I feel I'm doing better but that could just be in my head lol, eye of the beholder and all that jazz I suppose. Anyways I don't want my outro to get away from me so I'll end it by saying " Thanks for reading my review, I hope you enjoyed It! "

Let me preface my review by saying, why in the world did funimation/crunchyroll decide to censor the violence by straight up blacking it out? It made this anime dull in areas it should have been shining. If that's what you're going to do, atleast make an uncensored version available that way it can be enjoyed by the demographic it was intended for which I'm assuming was male ages 18 - 25 or something like that. What we actually got was at best PG13. Story - 6.5/10 - the story was pretty good through the first 5 or 6 episodes but then it seemed ... like it went multiple different directions. The story is about these people called Akudama that are talented individuals that are wanted by the government. It takes place some time in the future after a war in Japan left the world basically unrecognizable. The Akudama are hunted by people called Executioners and it's kind of ambiguous as to who the real bad guys are. The MC is a girl who is never named, she ends up at the police station due to a mishap and as she is trying to resolve it the station is attacked which leads the the MC getting caught up in it and falsely accused as an Akudama called The Swindler, each Akudama has a name that describes their talent ie The Doctor and The Hacker. Turns out the other Akudama were on a mission to save another Akudama that was about to be executed. After that the Akudama are brought together to do another mission which is the premise for the 1st 5 episode or so, after that it's about the Akudama trying to do other side missions in order to complete a new main mission. It gets a little crazy and tries to have one twist after another, it almost seems like they tried to fit like 20 episodes of material into 12 episodes. I think the story would have been better if it were a 24 episode season and we got to know the characters a bit more and knew what their motivations were, we're barely even told anything about the MC let alone the other characters. Art - 6.5/10 - the animation was not bad and even had a bit of CG in it that really didn't bother me like it usually does. The style was also one that I enjoy and it had a few moments that really made me want to rewind and watch them a few times. One moment is in the last episode or the 2nd last when the little girl has her moment before the people finally say "it's enough". Another one of my favorite moments was when The MC had her moment and created a diversion for brother and sister to escape with The Courier by sacrificing herself, which was also live streamed and caused the little girl to have her moment that I mentioned prior. It has a dark and somewhat gritty look and tone to it that would have come across much better had it not been censored! I'll say it every time I can and it 100% effects the score I'm giving it. It was completely unnecessary and it tip toes on the line of ruining the anime. I was so incensed that I almost just stopped watching and I've only ever dropped 1 anime before. Other than that the animation was good, the backgrounds were done well and looked unique. The CG wasn't offputting to the eye and helped enhance the scenes it was used in. Overall would have gotten a 7.2 if not for the censoring. The OP & ED bothe had great animation as well, the OP had like a Punk Rock feel too it with the colors and animation and the ED was more calm and showed the characters drawn with Retro Japanese tattoos. Sound - 7.8/10 - the soundtrack was one of the best parts of the anime. The OP and ED were both really good with both having original music for the anime. The OP had fast playing Rock music that really fit the animation style and the ED was more calm with a modern version of ancient Japanese instruments being played. Also the SFX were well done and were placed at the proper spots and didn't sound obviously fake along with the background music, it wasn't too subtle and it didn't overtake the ears and drown out the dialogue. Characters - 7/10 - the characters were another one of the strong points of this anime but weren't used to their full potential in my opinion. They all had cool designs and they all had very good voice actors. I just wish they would have been introduced better and with more information. If the anime was longer they could have used the 1st couple episodes doing some character meet and greets by having them introduced during a mission that way we could have seen some of their skills in a light hearted way. I was also holding out hope that the MC was hiding the fact that she was really an Akudama right up until the end, but she was still pretty dope and had a hell of an exit. I also like The Brawler and just how much he wanted to challenge himself with a strong opponent and I still think he would have beaten the Executioner if not for The Doctors intentionally shotty stitch job. I always knew she was a biotch lol. The characters are what made me hope there was a manga but unfortunately there isn't and this is anime original. Enjoyment - 6.8/10 - at this point in just being petty lol but I'm not going to change my mind now. I enjoyed this anime for the most part, I watched it because I seen a clip of Brawler vs Executioner online and figured it was somewhat like the Fate series where powerful beings fight each other for what they believe in but I was way off. And honestly after that fight is where the anime takes a turn and tries to make the anime something other than a glorified smash bros anime. I'll say it again, it should have had 24 episode if they wanted to have more of a storyline, not a lot can be fit into twelve 24 minute episode especially when there are fight scenes and other dynamic moving scenes that have to be animated properly. I like the fact that more anime is being produced nowadays but it's at a point where so much is being release every season that's it's effecting the quality of the anime now. I'd much rather see 8 or 10 new anime that are good to great rather than 18 to 20 new anime that are mediocre with maybe 2 or 3 good ones in the mix. Also lost points for censoring. Overall - 6.9/10 - it's so lucky that it rounds up to a 7 lol I'm almost temped to lower it because of the censoring, but I won't. It's a decent anime overall and it has more things that are positive than negatives by far. The fight scenes were good but could have been longer and there could have been a few more fights considering it was basically marketed as that. The impression I had going in was that it would have more 1v1 fight between Akudama and with the Executioners but we got more of a heist anime with sporadically placed fights throughout. After the first main mission is completed it's basically a delivery mission where 2 children are the cargo. Also i didn't mention this in the story section because it was already getting long but the 2nd half of the anime is more about the children who turn out to be immortal are the result of weird experiments done by the Executioner in order to keep their "overlords" happy. It's revealed that there was a war in Japan that at the end of, a huge bomb was dropped which is the reason people can't leave the part of Japan the anime takes place in because of radiation. Then its revealed that the "overlords" that wanted brother and sister was actually a giant super computer which holds the consciousness of the people in Kanto who won the war. I told you the story goes crazy after the 1st 6 episodes lol. That's not even everything that happens, this review would be insane if i put it all ( not that it's already too long or anything! ). Anyways it's an ok anime and just be warned that if you're going to watch for the fights, be prepared after episode 6 because there isn't any huge fights after Brawler vs Executioner. I hope you enjoyed my review and feel free to leave a comment or any feedback. Also check out some of my other reviews if you enjoyed this one, they're not all this long lol. I apologize for such a long review but I find it hard to stop sometimes. Thanks again for reading!

Ok so I really wasn't expecting much from this anime and I really just checked it out for the R rating. I'll try to keep it short compared to some of my other reviews lol.
Story - 4.9/10 - the story was set in an alternate Earth where Japan was the #1 country in the world and had the greatest economy and Japan sets the standard for the rest of the world. The story follows a government agency that literally has the licence to kill. It was called the Special Security Force. When the anime starts the agency is hunting terrorists and that's when we first ... meet Angel Cop. She is a brash and tough woman who takes no sh*t from anyone, cop or criminal. The story takes an odd turn after episode 1 when they introduce another group that apparently have some powers of some kind. Then an agent from episode 1 who got injured and disappeared shows back up as a cyborg with very little explanation then to top it all off there a a conspiracy. I looked for the source material but I couldn't find it, but I did see that there wasn't very long so I'm not sure what is anime original and is from the source material. Art - 6.5/10 - the animation is surprisingly not terrible for it being from 1994 and besides from the awkward mouth movements while talking it was decent. The backgrounds were all well drawn and looked natural and mostly hand drawn like almost everything from back then. ( Wow, just saying "back then" just NIW made me feel old as hell. ) There was quite a bit of gore which was cool because its different from any gore that ive seen lately. When someone got shot and their head explodes, the viewer doesn't just see blood spray but sees the bone, tissue and internal organs which is probably why it got the R rating. Very little nudity and what was shown wasn't on screen for long, doesn't bother me either way lol. The anime was done by a studio I've never heard of or seen any other anime from called Studio 88. They have only 4 anime produced including Angel Cop so it's no surprise. Sound - 5.5/10 - this is the 1st anime I've seen that literally had an information dump in the first 50 seconds instead of an opening lol. So nothing to rate their but the ED did have a decent track that was more melodic with Japanese lyrics. It's always a plus in sound rating for me when an anime has #1 lyrics in their OP and ED more importantly #2 is original to the anime. I didn't do any research prior so I don't know if it's original but it has lyrics so like I said, that's a plus. The anime had a lot of background music and for the most part it wasn't too overbearing and didn't drown out the characters talking and it set the mood for the scenes fairly well. The SFX were ok but could have been better. Characters - 5.5/10 - the characters were really something lol. They all had decent characters designs and kind of looked they were from Hair Metal bands from the late 80's and early 90's lol. The voice acting was probably some of the funniest voice acting I've seen in anime. The times when they characters swore sounded kind of like the actors forced themselves to swear and other times sounded like they said their lines at like 2x speed. The funniest line i heard waa when the MC Angel Cop says as she shoots her partner and her enemy through the head at the aame time " if this is justice, then im a banana! ". It's so ridiculous that I had to watch the original with subtitles to see if that was what Angel Cop actually says at a critical point and it absolutely was not what she said lol. The original line when Raiden tells Angel Cop to shoot him in the head because " he joined the S.S.F. because he lives to serve and he'll die to save. That's my Justice! " which Angel Cop responds " ok ill do it, I'll accomplish the Justice that you and I believe in. ". I honestly don't understand why they changed it and now I'm sure if i had watched the original subtitled from the start then it would have gotten a higher score, the character section for sure would have. Maybe eventually I'll go back and watch the subtitles version and update this review after. It a only 6 episode after all. Enjoyment- 6.5/10 - I actually found some enjoyment watching this anime and like all anime, it had it's ups and downs and flat points as well. Would I recommend this anime to people, maybe I guess depending on the person and how deep in the proverbial anime pool have they dipped thair toe would be a huge factor on who I would recommend this too. No casual viewer and nobody that hasn't watched a few older anime already because the vibe is just different compared to more modern anime. Honestly just do your research and nobody knows better than yourself what anime you enjoy and if you think Angel Cop is something you might enjoy, then just go for it. Don't get hung up on what other people's opinions are and watch an episode or 2 and formulate one for yourself. Other people's opinions and reviews can help bit don't always let that be the deciding factor in your decisions. Overall - 5.8/10 - it's was an ok anime that for being almost 30 years old still looks decent. I'm not sure if it was remastered but it didn't look like it was. Like I say for most my anime reviews, it really all depends on the viewer and their personal preferences whether they'll enjoy something. It's not very long at only 6 episodes which could be a pro or a con depending how you look at it. It's only 6 episode so there isn't much world building but on the other hand it can be finished in a couple hours. Overall for me it was worth watching and I found it enjoyable. Well it looks like just because it only had 6 episodes didn't mean I would write a shorter review lol. I tried to keep it short but it looks like once I start a review I find it hard to finish. I hope my review helped in some way or another. If it didn't help then well I hope you atleast enjoyed my review lol.

I'll start off by saying that I thought this anime was ok but there was a few things I didn't really care for and I'll go over that in my review. While watching the anime I checked out the source material but to my surprise it only has 1 volume out. I don't think I've seen an anime that had such little source material before it was made. Anyways onto the review. Story - 6.5/10 - for me, one of the weakest point of the anime is in its story. It has a decent revenge premise that shows that sometimes honor can be what ... helps prop you up but at the same time it can be false and wind up being ones own downfall if that honor is misdirected or taken advantage of, like what happens to the MC Raizo Kurima throughout this anime. The MC is on a path for revenge and an attempt at atonement because he was fooled into thinking his father in law was an opium smuggler and killed him which leads to his fiancee taking her own life. After the 1st episode the MC joins a group that takes revenge for people who are on the verge of death and I'm order to show their determination and depth of anguish the client uses all their remaining strength to bite into a piece of gold. The payment for revenge isn't the gold itself but the amount of pain and anguish that glues into the piece of gold with the bite. The anime also has a religious aspect that plays a roll in the story and that might turn some people off. Each episode is the group taking revenge for someone until the 9th episode or so where things start to come together. The story was ok but there was a few things that I didn't really care for like with what happened with the wife and the ending but other than that and it being repetitive, it was decent. Art - 7/10 - the animation was pretty good and they didn't shy away from the blood. The backgrounds were really well done and had a lot of detail which was good considering how much action there was. The fighting scenes were ok but a few times the characters were at a weird angle or too close to the foreground. The action scenes were done well but they weren't super intricate or over the top. They were based more in reality rather than magic and powers, now there were a few exaggerations but for the most part it was realistic. The intro (OP) had a good visual that introduced the viewer to the characters while they gave the viewer a taste if each of their abilities without spoiling anything. It also gives hints to the bitten gold and the religious aspect with a preacher and a nun. The outro (ED) visual was more subtle and had the credits scrolling while the it showed the characters and a few really well animated views of where the MC was sitting under the bridge and other parts of Nagisaka, the district the characters are in. Sound - 7/10 - the sound for this anime was alright, the OP music was actually pretty good and it fit the animation well. It was fairly upbeat and had a lot of drumming and what sounded like a piano and was fast paced as it got toward the end. There was a female singer and whay sounded like original lyrics and it was mixed to sound more like a pop song. On the other hand, the ED was much more dark and somber sounding which also fit the animation of the ending. The ED also had a female artist do the vocals which again I believe were original to the anime, I'm not positive though. I always find the OP and ED much better when they're original. The SFX were also decent and sounded fairly realistic, I thought they sounded real enough anyways. The background music was decent too and from what I remember it sounded like it for this time period. Characters - 8/10 - the characters were probably my favorite part of the anime and I really enjoyed them for the most part. They were pretty diverse, especially Nio. You will know what I mean if you've seen it. The MC was fairly decent and I can't say I didn't really like or enjoy all of the main group and the side characters for the most part were good. I didn't like what a few of the decisions that a couple of characters in the main group had made and I definitely didn't like the reveal of how the fiancee felt about the MC before she died, and I really had hope that she would have known the truth about what happened. Also even though the anime has a dub and I usually prefer dub, I watched it with subtitles and I liked pretty much the entire voice acting cast including the antagonists. Enjoyment - 7.5 - I enjoyed this anime quite a bit and thought is out performed it's current MAL rating. It had a decent amount of blood and gore but not ridiculous amounts that made it seem unrealistic. I liked the way they took payment for the revenge, it added more depth to the story. I also liked the way the MC screamed everytime he did his main attack, at first it kind of annoyed me lol but it grew on me. Overall - 7.2/10 - it's a good anime that if you're into revenge stories and sword fights with fairly decent story telling then im sure you will enjoy this anime and even if you're not sure but you seem curious then give this anime a shot. It's entertaining and has a decent storyline. I'm guessing it will be the only season because it doesn't have anymore source material and even though I didnt really care for the end, it did seem like it had a pretty definitive ending so unless it does anime original then its done. For those who prefer shorter seasons then this is a good anime to check out because it wraps up loose ends while still leaving the door open a crack for it to continue. If you made it to the end of my review then I appreciate it and I hope it wasn't too long. It a been a while since I've written a review so hopefully I can shorten them in the future. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed it.

When I realized this anime wasn't quite the average Isekai Fantasy, I wasn't sure if I would like it or not. I'm glad I watched it because in the end I really enjoyed it. The Kingdom development and management isn't something you see the "Hero" that has been summoned to "save the world" do very often. Review Time!
Story: 7/10 - I found that the story was good, it's an Isekai which there is an abundance of Isekai anime available to watch at the moment but it has a couple things that aren't seen in many anime especially Isekai. The ones I've seen anyway. The MCs ... name is Souma Kazuya and at the beginning of the anime he gets summoned to this new world to a country named Elfreiden. He is summoned in his own body so there's no age regression or body transmigration which I find is less complicated for the storyline. The country that summoned Soma happens to be in debt and in the middle of a food shortage at the time he was summoned and he ended up presenting a few solutions to the issues which leads to him becoming the new king. That's the 1st episode lol. After he becomes king he enacts multiple new policies and wins the approval of the people but also the animosity of the countries around his new home country. The story was interesting and surprisingly entertaining with a few funny instances throughout. I like the fact that the season was longer than just 12 episodes because I thought that the story needed it, I just wish it wouldn't have been released in two separate cours to make it easier for review purposes lol. Also another thing I wish that would have been done differently was the action scenes, and the battles between countries because they looked like small skirmishes not battles with thousands of people lol. I'm guessing it was done that way because of budget reasons and they would have had to take time and money away from other aspects so it's understandable. Art: 7/10 - the animation is good for the type of anime it is. There aren't any major fight scenes that required a lot of choreography or special effects so it didn't effect the budget. I liked that the animation was consistent throughout the entire season and didn't look like it was rushed. There also wasn't any unnecessary CGI that can seem like it chops a scene up and I also find that it can be jarring and effect the viewers immersion with the anime. The backgrounds were done well also, they were legible and not too repetitive. Plus you could actually tell what objects in the background were supposed to be, you didn't have to guess lol. Sound: 7.5/10 - the sound in this anime is really good for the most part. The OP and ED were done well and both had vocals, which isn't a guarantee. Both sounded decent although I did like the OP more than the ED. They weren't on the level where I actually enjoyed watching them at the beginning and end of the anime so I just skipped them most the season except for when I was writing this review during the 13th episode. Atleast they both seemed original and weren't some generic mono tone garbage. The SFX (sound effects) were ok in the few places it was used because there wasn't to many crazy battles. The background music was really good throughout the season though and helped add emotion to the scenes it was in. I feel that the background music and SFX are best when they can effect the viewer and add to the viewers immersion into the anime and not take them out of the zone and distract them. Characters: 7.5/10 - the characters in this anime are good in my opinion. They all have good designs and I honestly liked pretty much every characters voice acting. The MC looks plain most of the time but that helps project to the viewer what kind of person he is. Although he was summoned as the "hero" he isn't the tough guy, he's got more mental toughness than physical toughness and that fits his character considering he was just an average University student before he was summoned. He wasn't some martial arts master and didn't have a grandfather or uncle that had a dojo. The characters around him are done well too in my opinion and he may have a Harem but it's not done in the typical way, it's kind of a background theme. As I said before, the voice acting was pretty good whether it's the English subtitled or English dubbed version you choose to watch. Also one other thing I noticed and I liked was the fact that the MC and a few other characters changed what they were wearing a couple times during the season which doesn't happen much in anime. Enjoyment: 8.5/10 - I really enjoyed this anime a lot more than I expected to, to be honest. The story was interesting enough to keep me focused and it had enough things that I hadn't seen in other anime. I found that it was funny at the right times and it didn't effect any of the important events. I liked the MC and how he just wanted to find a family for himself and he does what he has to in order to keep them safe. If you've read any of my other reviews you know I like Isekai and Harem anime but I like how this anime handles both genres in unorthodox ways that even if the idea isn't completely original, it hasn't been done ten thousand times and that's part of why I liked this anime. Overall: 7.5/10 - it's a good anime to watch if you enjoy watching anime in general and this anime doesn't really connect to any genre completely other than Isekai, it's got hints of Fantasy and Action along with Harem, Drama and Comedy with abit of Slice of Life, so I'm sure that as long as you are an anime FAN and go into this anime with an open mind then like I say with pretty my anime reviews, I'm sure you will find something about this anime that you will enjoy. The characters are relatable in a sense and at times felt like they could have been real people at some point in time. Also it isn't perfect and it isn't super action packed either so it can be watched at any time but in my opinion, it's best to just chill and watch it. It was worth watching for me the 1st time I watched this anime and it was worth when I watched for the like..... 4th or 5th time before I wrote this review and it will probably still be worth it when I watch it the next time because I'm sure I'll watch it again at some point. LoL. Review End! Just one more thought, Sometimes I like reading other peoples reviews but I really can't understand how someone can think they have a decent understanding of an anime and then right a review without watching the full anime and sometimes it takes multiple viewings to have a complete understanding of an anime and catch all the details or catch any other things that might have been missed if the viewer was reading the subtitles during a scene. I don't have a problem with people sharing their opinion on how they feel about an anime but to me unless you've seen the entire season that's being reviewed, then is more of a "My Thoughts" post and mot a review. But that could be just me. So I've been seeing a lot of reviews of unfinished anime lately and I felt I just had to say my opinion, I'm sorry if you read through this but I appreciate if you did read it lol.
