SPOILER HEAVY REVIEW:

DAL S3 isn't as disastrous in animation as people claim. It is serviceable, average and whomever watches DAL S3 for its animation is stupid.

Not to mention that not even MAL has an "animation" category.

One of the most brilliant stories in recent memory. The sound composition is phenomenal.

Episode 12 may hands down be the best finale I've seen since Last Exile and that says a lot as to how great this show was. The art, as always, is great.

... On a subjective note, I don't care for Natsumi, but objectively she's pretty integral to the story.

Overall, this is something you should watch.

Here's the thing. There are several deal-breaking aspects here.

The story is terrible. It is a horribly executed mix between K-On and Nisekoi. The characters are either dated (generic cast), downright piss-off-you-fucking-twitter-wanker (the main character), or are somewhat hard to care about (which is sad considering you have an incredible waifu-material character and a realistically portrayed gay character, which is seldom a factor)

There's no grace saving soundtrack, and this series is just awful. I've seen awful series before, but have had an awesome soundtrack (Here's looking at you naruto).

Simply put, Fuuka and her friend are not enough to carry a damn show.

Sorry for the cussing, but ... this series deserve a blunt and scathing review. The one positive note is the color palette used.

I know it is going to be a problem for some for me to rate this so high. For at first it both sounds and seems like another generic harem anime. The thing is, it capitalizes upon their genre very well. It literally starts off with his grandfather telling his grandson to become an adventurer just so he can pick up women. From a humor standpoint, it is hilarious. Albeit not so much a modern societal standpoint.

There were a few things that irked me about this series as far as continuity and slightly storybreaking plot elements. I can't say directly what they are without entering ... spoiler territory, so I'll leave it at that.

The presentation, the capitalization on the genres and tropes are on point, and throughout the time I was watching it, I could find enjoyment in everything they were presenting. The art was aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I gave it a ten based on these aspects, and feel free to message me if you want more details.

I'm not going to lie by the way. An ancillary point, Hestia is bestia.

Keep in mind that the premise is absurd, and normally the scores I give on this level give a lower score normally. The background music ranges from awful, to extremely cheesy, to boringly generic. I like the art, but nothing outstanding. The story, while creative, isn't enough to have me give more than a 3 in story.

I rated the character and enjoyment factors to be a 10, the cast is likeable and enjoyable, from random loli Athena, to greatest waifu of all-time-ever-no-bones-about-it Erica (Fight me m8 if ya disagree :P) to a protagonist that makes me rage like Godou (but at least I care ... enough about him) to the white haired knight girl.

The reason I'm scoring so high is the absurd levels of satisfaction in the climax of the relationship between Godou and Erica. I rarely get the level of romantic satisfaction I want out of an anime, let alone an ECCHI HAREM anime. The last episode is garbage mind you, as I could care less about Athena's weird identity crisis.

But overall, it is fantastic because it maximizes its genres to the fullest.

Oh yeah, and I never got to see the identity of that Soothsayer Alice.
