The only thing I don't like about this anime—and the reason I wouldn't recommend it—is the interaction between Taiki and Chinatsu. In fact, I could even say that I hate Chinatsu, but let's go step by step.
This is the first anime where I've seen such a forced relationship between characters (Okay, I’m lying. I have seen forced relationships in other anime, but this one was more disappointing ). It feels like they're being shoved into the same places over and over again for no apparent reason. It doesn't even feel like fate or coincidence—it feels like an obvious manipulation by the author. I mean, what
...
are the chances that your crush, who is a year older than you, suddenly moved into your house, starts living with you, and out of nowhere, you start running into them at school more often? Exactly, 0% chance. That's like saying my favorite singer suddenly moved into my house because our moms happened to be friends. WTF. I get that this is an anime, but come on, let's not completely escape reality.
On top of that, their entire relationship starts from a random interaction: the protagonist finds Chinatsu in the gym after she loses a match, says something vaguely encouraging, and boom, that's the foundation of their bond. Seriously? If a teacher had said the same thing, would the result have been the same? Bruh. Chinatsu hadn't even acknowledged the protagonist's existence until she started living with him.
And here's the worst part: there is no real reason for him to like Chinatsu. Apparently, he likes her because she's pretty, kind, dedicated to sports, and famous in basketball… but Hina—the other main girl, who clearly could have been his love interest—has ALL of that and more, and okay, I get it, you can fall in love without any justification, especially in adolescence when your hormones are all over the place, but Hina has a better personality, more depth, she's funnier, knows what she wants, and is straightforward about her emotions. Plus, the protagonist has known her for much longer, and they're even in the same class, so it would make way more sense for them to interact more often. But nope, the author decided that he has to fall for the senpai, and to justify it, they force unrealistic situations to create a completely artificial relationship.
Meanwhile, Chinatsu is nothing but a wall blocking what could have been a real relationship between Taiki and Hina. She didn't even like Taiki until she found out that Hina had feelings for him. Throughout the whole anime, you're just thinking, Chinatsu, make up your mind already! Do you want him or not?! It's frustrating and honestly disgusting to watch him chase after her for no reason, while the author keeps throwing in "convenient moments" to try and deepen a relationship that has no foundation whatsoever.
Other than that, the art is beautiful, the animation is flawless (like most modern anime), and the music is pretty standard.

This anime is about romanticized kidnapping, but I guess this kind of thing happened quite a bit in the past. The male character is honestly kind of creepy, but how bad could it really be if she decided to marry him? She’d probably be better off with him than with some of the other nobles...
That said, I want to make it clear that I don’t support this anime’s premise, and I definitely don’t think it’s about love. At most, she might develop Stockholm syndrome, but love? I highly doubt it. The animation is nice, the music is okay, and the characters' personalities aren’t bad—except for
...
the prince. I kind of found Leticia’s kidnapping by the prince funny, though, so I think I’ll give this series about kidnapping a chance and watch it to the end, but not because I agree with its message.

This anime really surprised me; I wasn't expecting anything from it, and in the end, it delivered everything.
I don’t understand the low rating this anime has. When I try to justify it, the arguments against it don’t seem strong enough, as the positive aspects far outweigh the negatives. In my opinion, this anime should be classified as a mystery slice of life, even though those two genres might seem contradictory. However, that’s precisely its essence: the two main characters logically solve everyday cases, except for a couple of situations that go beyond the ordinary.
The logic used by the protagonists, especially Kobato, is flawless. This makes
...
you deeply invested in what’s happening and draws you into every story. Additionally, the satisfaction of seeing the mysteries solved is one of the series’ strongest points. While at first glance, it might seem like a romance anime between the protagonists, it’s really about two people who are very close and understand each other well.
It’s true that we don’t know the characters’ backstories or how they formed their bond, but that didn’t bother me. The narrative keeps you focused on their interactions and current events, helping you connect with them. Perhaps a second season will explore their past more, as we’ve already had some hints about Kobato and Osanai’s backstory.
Furthermore, the animation is simply stunning; it alone deserves a 9. I also appreciate that the characters behave like real people rather than falling into the archetypes so common in most anime. The fact that, in the end, each character goes their own way and seeks their version of happiness felt like a very satisfying conclusion. The author didn’t try to force a romance or add unnecessary elements. It’s an honest anime where what you see is what you get. Everything that is uncovered is coherent and logical, and you don’t need to overthink to follow the characters’ reasoning.
Of course, there are some areas for improvement that justify an 9.
-Lack of character development: In just 10 episodes, it’s hard to delve into two seemingly complex characters like Osanai and Kobato. However, further exploration of their backstories would definitely enrich the series.
-Limited emotional depth: Anime with greater emotional intensity tend to resonate more with the audience. That said, the calm, stoic tone here creates a constant sense of relaxation and peace. At the same time, it heightens the mystery of what the characters are thinking—especially Osanai—and gives the anime a unique narrative style.
This anime strikes an intriguing balance between the mundane and the mysterious, supported by stunning animation and genuine characters. It’s a relaxing yet captivating experience, I recommend it.

Corrected genres: Adventure, Fantasy, Ecchi
I clearly have mixed feelings about this anime, mainly because I enjoy the world-building. As a fan of isekai and fantasy genres, I typically appreciate anything involving spell-casting and similar things. It's not the first or the last time I'll see a child anime character with god-level powers. However, what bothers me and really makes me question, "What the heck am I watching?" is the sexualization of the main character and all the female characters in this anime. Mainly because the main character is a boy who they portray as a woman and which they show sexualized scenes with adult characters,
...
that would be pedophilia right?. So, I wonder why "No Game No Life" is in the ecchi category, but this anime isn't?. Anyway, the fact of oversexualizing a child lowers the rating of this anime for me, because okay, I understand that there are people who like fan service, but does it really add anything to the anime?, was it necessary?

I don't even know what to think about this anime. Theoretically, it should be a 10, but it really left a lot to be desired. Starting with Bam, the main character, for me, he was completely forgettable, the most indifferent main character I have ever seen in an anime. It bothered me that everyone who met Bam liked him because it seemed like the audience was being forced to like Bam for no reason. He lacks personality and seems like a person without ambition, without motivation, and with a lot of mommy issues.
In an anime like this, you would expect incredible world-building, but it feels
...
like they mixed 40 different worlds and spat them on the screen. What do I mean by this? Basically, you see different races, people who look like they're from different eras, a world that seems religious and medieval but with 21st century technology, which MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. Issues: 1) in the first season, you will only learn the lore of 1-3 characters, 2) they don't explain anything, they don't even leave things implicit, like a guy who lived in a cave—why? Nobody knows, A girl who seems to take care of him but no one knows where this girl came from?. There are no answers to absolutely anything, You LITERALLY just know there is a tower and whoever goes up gets whatever they want, and it feels like they just show you a bunch of information that isn't connected to anything, and senseless fights where you don't even know why they are evaluating these people. How many floors does this tower have? Is the guardian the same as the administrator and the king? You won't get answers to anything in this anime.
In conclusion, the characters have no depth or lore, the protagonist is simple, and you are forced to like him for no reason, the world has an absurd construction that they won't explain, and you will hate Rachel, I think that's the only certain thing about this anime.
Anyway:
Animation: 8/10
Characters: 4/10
Music: 8/10
Story: 6/10
World-building: 5/10

Although this anime doesn't have a very high rating, I liked it quite a bit and would consider it a solid 7. The animation, while not incredible, isn't tragic either. In fact, it's quite similar to what we see in the manga, so it's not bad.
At the beginning, we see how Hananoi's image of love is shattered and then rebuilt to understand what it really means to love someone, while Hotaru learns what it means to love as well. Both characters have sweet personalities, and the story is well-constructed. I believe that if the animation were better, it would deserve an 8. Additionally,
...
most people probably drop the anime at the beginning, thinking that Hananoi is a crazy person obsessed with Hotaru and that it's going to be a cringe anime. But as the anime progresses and you understand the characters, you realize it's not like that, and you yourself learn what it means to love along with the protagonists. I recommend this anime.

I am disappointed that MAPPA has released such a terrible baseball anime. I understand they tried to make a comedy anime, but if you take all the seriousness out of the sport and then add a completely childish main character who doesn't even want to play, it becomes a joke. I don't even understand what this anime is about; there is literally no character development, no joke that is actually funny for people with more than three brain cells, and it's just cringe, very cringe and boring. By episode 9, I thought maybe the anime would take a turn and Kei would regain his memory,
...
and I would finally see an anime comparable to Haikyu!! But no, if you want to watch a baseball anime where the characters improve episode after episode, teach you the rules of the game, and you see interesting matches, THIS IS NOT THE ANIME YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. On the other hand, if you want to watch a high school teenager behave like a 6-year-old and five other teenagers trying to take baseball seriously while only embarrassing themselves in every game and losing disastrously, then this is your anime. Seriously, it's so cringe, so horrible, I gave it a score of 4, completely disappointing, it doesn't even deliver the basics, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

I think the anime would even be decent if it didn't constantly make us think that a 26 year old man likes a 14/15 year old teenager and emphasized so strongly the fact that he sees her as a woman,I don't like that keiya is his only figure paternal because is disgusting to think about a non-paternal love relationship between father and daughter, if you like this incest vibe I think it's the right anime for you, if not, I think it will make you a little sick.
I liked the characters and really the personalities of the characters are even okay, otherwise the animation
...
is AWFUL and I think it gets lower with each chapter.
I had to stop watching the anime because the animation was so horrible that my 6-year-old cousin draws better than that. The manga is not like that; I had to check because it really scared me that the work was done so poorly.
