Two worlds with a similar themes about mecha and growing up; Two protagonists whose growth started from the bottom; and two main mechas that grew bigger than planets. These animes have great animations with great character designs. These characters grew from their post-apocalyptic world of monsters roaming the wastelands only to be the saviors of humanity in the future. Be ready for a dramatic journey for both series!

Blend S

Imagine a café that employs cute girls to work. That's what it looks for Gochuumon and Blend S, but it isn't a problem since they offer heartwarming and cute interactions between characters and their daily lives. Not much male casts are seen, in-fact only a few; but they are not left behind in the screen as they enjoy as much comedy and fun together with all the other characters. In other words, this show has cute girls doing cute things and comedy in a café setting.

They don't exactly have a similar story concept, but they are both comedies that have a similar level of humor. Both shows would definitely make you laugh, considering that you like comedy as a genre; also almost similar in art style. However, watching these characters are also interesting other than their funny attributes. A must watch if you haven't seen the other.

Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii

Unemotional characters would often be misunderstood and that's how the main characters, Nozaki-kun and Nifuji-san, in Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun and Wotakoi are like. Their apathetic appearances make them funny and their interactions with their "romcom partner" makes them funny to watch. They have a similar mix of friends of their own that are also interesting to watch because they have their own hilarious circumstances. They are both rom-coms but in a different environment: Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun is set in a school life while Wotakoi is in a workplace. Simply, students and workers as difference. Nonetheless, if you enjoy the other, the recommendation will surely be enjoyable.

The protagonists follow a path to self-discovery. They both had dramatic encounters with many who contributed to their experience of love and sincerity. They both started not knowing anything about the world, but their encounters with different people changed them. Their stories are similar in concept, but one is an immortal who seeks understanding of humanity through exploration while the other is a doll who writes thoughts of others into paper. They are both great dramas that should be recommended from the other.

If you enjoyed the transformation of Lazy Umaru from her Perfect Girl Identity, then you might find Gabriel to be similar and as enjoyable as an otaku girl. They are funny, but I think Gabriel Dropout is funnier, in my opinion. Gabriel Dropout also has one season so far, so it is good for you if you are looking for a short comedy anime.

'The Recovery of an MMO Junkie' is a Rom-Com that has a similar concept of story with 'And you thought there is never a girl online?' where the main characters are engaged in a video game and they end up meeting up in the real world where romance will still develop. Both of them can be finished easily since they don't have sequels and they have 12-episodes to boot.

If you enjoyed Steins;Gate for being intense and jaw-droppping, then you might also like ERASED. It has a similar way of revealing shocking moments that make their show interesting and time traveling is evident. ERASED only has a few episodes to watch so it is good if you are looking for a short anime that might give you a similar experience as you watch.

If you are looking for a similar story where the protagonist had a rough past and became strong with no one expecting it and later girls fawning over him, then I recommend the other: - Girls are strong, but main character is stronger - girls hated them, then they all became friends

If you are looking for a similar anime where the protagonists almost have the same ideals in especially in the shonen genre, I recommend watching the other because: - Everyone else in their respective animes don't expect the growth of the protagonist. - Both of them are short, and they are often inferior in the eyes of the majority, until later - Asta wants to be the best magic knight; Hinata wants to be the best volleyball player - they both have a strong rival - both of them are energetic

If you want to look for another anime with the same comedy in a world of fantasy, this is the show that you would want to watch right now. - Comedy is its main genre, however their fantasy worlds are also interesting - A party of four; male protagonist with three female comrades; also completes a set of quests and end up similarly in a comedic fashion - Both have great quality animation
