So, Aho-Girl, it's a short anime, which I somehow found in this bottomless web. And I like it (in some way), but, if take this serious, it's absurd.
You can judge yourself: the plot is almost missing, all situations are cliche, characters are flat and show no progress at all, lame animation and sound. No pros at all (this is not true), but still I am glad that I watch it.
Because you can have fun, all the situations in which our heroes take part are absurd, our heroes are absurd (nothing new for anime) and ... and something else is absurd too. All at the screen

are unrealistic, exaggerating and chaotic. And it's the main thing that makes you watch it, you can not possibly predict what will happen next moment, even if you had some crazy way of thinking. The anime did not afraid to do controversial things, but at the same time, they are not overly lewd. This is not ecchi, even if we have here some kind of harem.
The story is all about our aho-girl - Yoshiko, really stupid girl. But she is energetic, positive, enduring and ... dumb. And all the energy she wastes is her "great" ideas and is trying to get to A-kun's heart. Yoshiko is the main engine of the show, but there is also a perverted head of the school board, a really nice girl (only one normal) and a set of other plain but fun-delivering characters.
Anime consists of short episodes with even shorter skits. They are all fun because we all love to watch some stupid people and hear primitive jokes. But it is better to have a mood for this. So stop taking staff seriously and try to watch this.
It's hard to say if you like it, because, well, it's a stupid anime, even if it is intentionally.

Charlotte is bad ani... Nao, stop looking at me with you deep blue eyes. So, this anime had many proble... Nao, pls stop, I can't concentrate, because of yours eyes. Ok, I try this:
Charlotte - is not bad anime, but ... but there are many buts. I can't say that it is a failure, but many bad details (big and small ones) almost make it one. But there are many good things, and furthermore, it was a pleasure for me to watch this.
==Story==
You will not be bored. There are many events in anime, the story is fast, emotional and interesting. Sometimes cool funny moment

happens, sometimes really serious drama shake the plot. One can create a nice story with this.
We had the world where kids with super-abilities exist. For the security of this kids (and the world around) special school was created, and our heroes look for new members. Pretty good, right? Just look for one kid in one episode, then small "boss" kid in the several last episodes, and do average anime. But...
But no, the more complicated plot is needed! So add time-travel, the secret organization, and... how many episodes left? Just one... so it is enough for some world-saving.
Because of that story become so fragmented and un-smooth. Like in one episode heroes fight secret organization, next - time travel, with minimum explanations between. Fragmentation of plot creates fragmentation of anime mood. Really tragic moments immediately is followed by funny one, then tragic again, then some dumb (but funny) scene, and then drama again. Sometimes it looks really stupid.
About different DeusExMachina and others coincidences I will not talk much, there are plenty of this stuff, but they are ok, just ok.
==Characters==
The main hero, Yuu, maybe could be nice, but because of a fragmented story, his is fragmented too. Or maybe he is just bad. Either way, probably you will not care about him much, but in some episodes, drama is really high, that you may.
Other characters are better, and it is because they are really simple (even if the story wants to say something else). Nao is really coldhearted all time, Ayumi and Yusa - all time moe and kawaii, and stupid friend. They are good for their roles but do not expect even little development of them.
Relations between characters - absent. Well except Nao and Yuu, but... you probably will not believe it anyway.
==Art and music==
About Nao eyes I wrote in the beginning - they are just beautiful. And at all: art here - is almost perfect. That is why we love the 2D world. Good job.
Music also is nice, but not perfect. Both OP and ED are average, but inside of series really cool music are (especially one episode).
==Enjoyment==
I enjoy watching this anime (I don't ask for much at all), but I suspect that there is better anime for watch, so think about it. But "Charlotte" is interesting, simple and beautiful, good for some lazy evening.

I expected really much from this anime series, and start watching it with caution. Well, it is on the top of both score and popularity rankings. And it is my favorite genre - Sci-Fi. So I could be so bad if my expectation did not come true. BUT they come true, and hell-yeah I love this series, and all my friends already know this, just because I talk about it really often.
(I didn`t play the original visual novel if somebody will ask)

==Story==
Firstly - it is Sci-Fi and in a good old sense, no some pseudo-scientific trash or mecha, but well known and nice

time travel. And despite I like time travel, it also was one of the few problems of this series, it was not original. Well, Okarin and others are original, but all of the problems and paradoxes already are well known, right from the times of Wells. So if you, as I am, had watch/read much sci-fi, you will probably notice some similarities.
But I mast admit that story is solid here, not without flaws, but still, it is the good one. What we had: time machine (so badly build), cool scientists (but some sort of degree had only one) and the evil organization who want a time machine for them. Adventures of ours heroes are interesting, sometimes fun, sometimes sad, and I will not say more. Main questions as always are questions about choice, fate and what really matters in life.
==Characters==
Ten out of ten. Probably even better. It is them who define this anime as epic. They are really good, not many fiction works had so interesting and realistic (with one remark) characters.
Main character: nice guy, a good friend, and creative person - Okabe Rintarou, but you probably will remember him as slightly perverted, MAD SCIENTISTO Hououin Kyouma! But everybody calls him Okarin. He is not the just regular mad scientist, because he is not scientist and he is not mad, but he act like this, and it is fun to follow him. And he is so real for me, some of his distinctive features can be found in me too. You can go in some technical faculty of the university and you will find someone as Okarin, they running around, speaks some nonsense and trying to create time machine out of microwave and Geiger counter. And these people can do the greatest discoveries, so do Okarin.
All others characters are good too, Kurisu Makise - the best time travel hot science girl, and well she had a good personality, despite being tsundere sometimes. Daru (Super Hakar) - some fat perverted genius-hacker, who add some awkwardness to anime, but not many. His pervert phrases are inserted just in right moments to create fun situations, and they do not spoil anything. Mayushi - main moe power of this anime. She is fun, nice and cute, be seriously prepared, not many can deal with so much kawaii. Tut-TuDu!
And there are more of cool characters. And they all changes with the flow of events, it easily to believe in their relations and motivation. You will love them all and probably will feel all their feelings. I definitively will remember them.
Well and there goes the problem of all anime - They all are so young. Like Okarin - 18 years, and he created a Time Machine, Kurisu - 18, and she is one of the best scientists in the world. Why not give them some more time. But not.
==Music and Art==
It's all good, nice ED and OP, but nothing special. And nice art.
==Enjoyment==
This series had right proportions between fun and serious staff and unexpected turns of the storyline, what you possibly need more?
If you fan of sci-fi - it is for you. If you are a fan of drama - it is for you... Well, it hard to even find someone who will dislike this series. Even if you dislike anime - you still can watch this and have a good time. It is mast-watch for everybody.

The final accord of K-On! series created as movie fits the whole K-On! thing just right. It is a great present for fans and must be praised all around.
Firstly, if you like the TV series - you will like this movie too. If you like characters of K-On! you will probably like this movie. If you did not see series, you should - there is no characters introduction at all.
So what we get:
==Story==
Mio, Yui, Ritsu and Mugi had their graduation nearby, and Azusa will be alone in K-On club. So our four looking for something to present to Azusa. Something that will remind Azusa
...
about their good relations in the club. A really nice dramatic story about friendship and what matters...
One more storyline is about the final trip to London, for a celebration of graduation. And it will be in K-On style - funny and cute. The story is simple but solid, it's nothing special but nothing bad.
==Characters==
They are the same, but more relations and feelings between character are shown. They act more adult or something. But that's what happens when you go abroad and graduate.
==Art and Music==
Art is better than in TV series, it is not strange, but I must admit it. Shadows, new locations, more emotions on faces - simply better.
Music is great too, old songs sound just the same good way. And the music video in the end of movie, is so good, that somebody will call it the best ED of series. And it will be not far away from the truth.
==Summary==
I just want to say 'Thank" to Kyoto Animation, they create great fun moe series, which will be remembered for a long time, and I will probably watch it again sometimes, K-On!Movie - it's small returning to the world of K-On!, and this returning is so sweet.

If you get here, you probably already saw the first season of this anime series. If you are not, well, some generic information about K-On! will be here. But I cannot bypass comparison between K-On! (first season) and K-On!! (second one). And yes, minor spoilers can be ahead, but due to anime plot, they will not matter.
So our old friends Yui, Mio, Mugi, Ritsu and Azusa as always drink tea in every possible ocсasion... uh, I mean, they play together in the light music club. And just as in the first season, mostly there are no important problems, and all comedy stands on some
...
funny little moments, where our girls will be looking so moe and fantastic, that you will forget about everything. Something does not changes (and it good for me), but something changes (and it kind of double-edged sword). But it still 10/10 with no doubt.
==Story==
Mostly absent, but, unlike in the first season, there is one general direction of the story, especially at the second half of season. The graduation is near, for four girls from K-On! it is the last year at school. So here goes new important questions about future, about friendship and about the club. Such things create somewhat serious flavor. Absolute carelessness of the first season become just simple carelessness in second. Some series near the end of the show are more serious, but with Yui, it just can't be so for long.
Still, as in the first season, the story is built around a comedy of some single moments. Girls beat it without some real troubles, we had small laugh, and here goes another one.... And so on.
==Characters==
Nothing changes in this chapter. Yui still careless and sometimes stupid. Ritsu still acts boyish and joke around Mio, Mugi still had her fetishes and act strange, Mio fear everything, and Asuza is cute and trying to really play some music. They are still ideal girls in the ideal world.
But in this season more time get secondary characters: Ui, Jun, Nodoka and Sawako-sensei. This characters appears often near main characters and create some life around. Other secondary characters appear too, classmates quit being faceless.
In some moments I even notice some characters progress in Yui case. She studied more, play guitar more and other stuff. But maybe it was an accident.
==Music and Art==
Ok, Kyoto Animation create decent animation, characters is cute and moe, what you need more?
And music, well, it good. It really good, old songs are present with new one. And you can now notice, that it is anime about music club. ED (both of them) - are one of the best that I hear. OP, as for me are not so good as in the first season, but still decent.
==Enjoyment==
Almost same as in the first season, but some new emotions appears. Sadness about ending of school life of girls and of anime, it nice, but now I can't suggest this anime as absolutely perfect anti-depression one.
10/10 - I love it really much.

"Izetta - the last witch" - is good anime in alternative history genre. Events of anime happen in alternative Europe of ~1939, where Germania tries to conquer the world, and as "real" (from other fiction) nazi they study occultism and magic. And there is what to study - because in this world magic is real. And easy prey for Germania as little alpine country Principality of Elystadt suddenly get support from Izetta - the last witch of this world. Magic vs technic, science and cunning, great setup for nice anime.

is really poorly realized, so many people even drop this anime in the second half of season. But it is not bad at all, just do not expect much, and you will not be disappointed.
==Story== (7/10)
Story is decent, it was interesting to follow warfare and politics at that world, despite the fact that politics are shown really childish and primitive. Cool guys from secret police of both countries were shown much better and darker. History of witchcraft was well presented, and some little stories too.
Also relations between main characters Fine and Izetta - is great and cause you to imagine what happens next.
But really inappropriate fan-service and some misunderstanding in motivation at the end, where it can be better written, spoils the story.
==Characters== 6.5/10
One more problematic side of anime. No, mostly characters are good, someone even great, just looks at the agents of secret police Berckmann and Muller, some other supporting characters are great too, germanian pilot for instance. Ortfine despite hers childish and sometimes dumb speeches had some charisma and looks like the proper aristocratic girl.
But Izetta - oh, she is just one dimensional. It is pure naivety and mindless loyalty, whatever is going on, Izetta reacts just the same way. If at the start of series you did not notice this, in the second half it so unbearable to ignore. Still relation between Fine and Izetta are nice, except for some predictable Izetta moves.
Main villain is pretty generic and can be found at any average anime
==Art and Sound== 10/10
I love it! Alpine landscapes - just beatiful, tech and building - also drawn nicely, and there is no complaints about character. I love this style, whatever it is.
Sound is even better, some german alpine motives create great atmosphere. Battles also had music accompaniment, which fit war well. OP - is nice, but nothing specific, ED - calm cool song.
==Enjoyment== 9/10
The main problems of this anime are Izetta and the fact that it could be better (maybe, maybe not), but this two facts does not spoil me anime. I got many positive emotions while watching. Decent story, great music, some great characters and emotional chemistry between main characters.
P.S. It is good anime, but hype spoil so much in the eyes of viewers.

After reading different reviews about this anime, I prepared myself for the worst. Like no story, no interesting characters, no logic or morale, only fan-service moe and kawaii. It, of course, true in some ways, but completely untrue in others.
I do not see much anime of this type (or any other) and do not truly understand what moe means, so I write about my fillings on this anime with regular words.
First of all, this anime can cheer you up and calm you down after hard work, or even motivate you for doing what you want. And yes I am talking about K-On. Still, it

is mostly kawaii and moe (whatever it means), so not everybody will notice anything else, except cuteness of anime.
==Story==
All anime is about four (five) schoolgirls who love to drink tea with cake after school studies. And it is all. Oh, no, they also play in school music band, but mostly it is tea. There is no story and the whole season, and mostly there is no story at one episode either. It just events which can happen in school. No hard conflicts to resolve, no unsolved mystery to find out, no high goal to reach. Is it bad? Not for this anime. Girls just flow with events around them and give us their happiness and love. The story is not needed here, so let's go on.
==Characters==
They are great! It is generic characters, but that is not bad either. Absolutely naive and cheerful Yui, serious and fragile Mio, vigorous Ritsu and so kindness Mugi. Part of all of them live inside everybody (and this is good parts), and in this anime, they just divided into different persons. It is fun to looking on their mutual study and entertainment.
==Music and art==
I love OP and ED really much. (ED - is best motivation song of the last time). Also, there is decent music on their scene appearance. For me it's enough, but it is hard to notice that anime is about music club.
Art - is good, I like this simple drawing. Simple but effective.
==Enjoyment==
Why did I enjoy this show so much? Because it fit to the real world. It's an ideal world where is no problem, and lady luck is at your side, it is the world where you dream can become true, people around are kind and ready for help. It looks so different to the real one, but it not unconnected at all. This anime make you believe, that real world is not so bad, and it really is. You can have some dream to follow, as heroes of anime do, and you always can had some tea and sweets with friends. There is no need to bury you child ambition and beliefs, sometimes it help to become happy. And this anime dig out this childish out of you.
I do not recommend this anime to everybody, and my score is little overrated, but this is my filling for this anime.

This is a story about the man, who drill the sky and kick Good Sense's ass.
This is a story about Epic, about Pathos, about Fighting and about Drilling.
Gods and Heroes of all legends and myths look so small in shadows of Gurren Dan. In whole MassEffect series, there is less pathos than in average series of this anime. Speeches in Lord of the Rings look like school drama theater

in comparison to Kamina's ones. You think that you already know about struggle? You are wrong! (If you didn't see this series). Kamina, Simon, Yoko - they fight literally Impossible and they never go back and they win. Do the Impossible, See the invisible! ROW!ROW! FIGHT THE POWER!!
If shortly, Gurren Lagann is the standard of epic cool story. Heroes speak over-epic speeches, and no one can possibly doubt about trueness of them. Heroes do the unbelievable things. And they do it cool way, MANS WAY. You hit a wall? HIT IT HARD!. Does not working! HIT HARDER! They had bigger mech? Ok, hitting hard will help in this case too, but better bring a bigger hammer. You need to cross an ocean? Take an oar and row like never before. Moon is falling? You still do not understand? Hit it! True heroes do not look for roundabout ways, they strike into the front. And the universe will bow to their coolness.
--Music and Animation--
Music of different genres is connected in this masterpiece. Rock, rap and opera fit so well in this story. Row!Row! Fight the Power! - shows the whole meaning of Gurren Dan. Viral soundtrack - shows the animal strength. Libera me from hell - an epic sound of worlds collision.
Animation - fit the story just right. Brutality is shown brutal. Romance is shown romantic. And Humor shown funny. You need something more?
--Story--
Who give a ...?
Humanity must live under the earth, because on surface humans are hunt down by beastmens. This is bad. And some butts must be kicked. Humans can't be stopped by some mortals. Or immortals. Or laws of physics themselves. We are too cool for them all.
--Characters--
They are cool, fun and sincere. And you like them for that. They are not hard to understand, but in the same time, they are not without character. It just simple boys who want to change the world into a better place for them. And Yoko - she is so nice to see and hear. Strong girl with big heart.
So buy some ridiculous glasses, turn on this anime and go into the journey that shows the meaning of everything. ROW! ROW! FIGHT THE POWAH!
P.S. If you try to judge this anime logically it will look something dull. Without a great story, heroes are not the smartest ones, and word "physics" or "logic" can't be used to describing this anime at all. But you can't watch this coldhearted, this anime must boil your blood and you forget about any minuses of series.

"Your Name" - is a masterpiece. Now you can just go and watch it.
First of all - picture. From the first seconds and up to the end of the movie your eyes will thank you. Is it be a small town near the extinct volcano or subway train in Tokio or fantasy dream of one of the heroes, you can just stop the movie and look at the picture just like in art gallery. And landscapes are really cool, I don't know is it really so beautiful in Japan or artists slightly improve it, I do not care, it is pleasure for watching.

- story. I need to say, that after this kind of stories, mostly I must drink some wine or other alcohol. And at all my emotions are easy to manipulate, and because of it, I will try not to write an emotional post about how perfect movie is. Still, if you like stories of "Bioshock:Infinite", "LifeisStrange", "Mr.Nobody" or "Stardust", you will love this story too. Emotionally, sincerely, mysteriously, keep in suspense, break your heart, give you hope, steal it from you and then give it back again.
This is the story about two teenagers: Mitsuha Miyamizu - schoolgirl, who lives in a countryside and do not love it very much, and Taki Tachibana - schoolboy, who lives in Tokio. And one day they switch their bodies, just like in not really fun hollywood's comedies. But it all not so simple, because ... oh, it's spoilers. Yes, the story had really hard spoilers so be aware. I do not predict all story turns and it was good. I will just say, that this is a movie about love and how fates of people concatenate in time and space. Somewhat mystical, but we all love fairytales.
You will worry about heroes because it isn't just love at stake, it ... spoilers again. And probably, one can't say "love" in this case, it some feeling that must be defined by many words.
There are not third part of a review, just watch it. Maybe you will not love it as much as I, but definitely, you will no regret about your time.

This anime remind me summer when I was in eight-nine grade in school. Even not summer, but my writing about "How I spend my summer."
For me, it was that type of compositions when you sit at evening and try to find something worthwhile and not too embarrassing. Because nothing worthwhile didn't happen. Heroic deals - not for you, supernatural things always happens in other countries, apocalypse was canceled. All what you do: just went outdoor, met your friends, walk nearby with silly thoughts and do dummy things. You can't write about it, it was fun for you, not for anybody else.
And "Dagashi Kashi" is
...
exactly about this kind of summer. It set of short stories about teenagers (Kokonotsu, Hotaru, Saya and Tou) who doing nothing special. Hotaru with hers perverted on sweets mind, all time finds some game to play. Kokonotsu, because of none more important job to do, join her. Tou is just a dude, who thinking about boobs and how to become popular, and Saya looking at this zoo with curiosity and try to understand, what sense in all of this.
But there is no sense, it just fun, good and so nostalgic to do dummy things, without any hint on moral. Eat candies, relax and you will be happy.
So, this anime had no plot (but who need plot in sitcom?), jokes were sometimes childish. But this summer atmosphere and nostalgy for better days (with no regret) deliver some enjoyment.
