A short and direct review on this underrated manga.
For starters, before i started reading this manga i was uninterested mostly because of the vague yet weird summary, but well after a quick night i've realized i found a gem for violent subjects lovers, the story had so much potential, some parts of the story remained unknown even after the epilogue, and it's not supposed to be a cliffhanger at least it doesn't seem like it...
The art is fitting to the story, quite detailed if i may add. A gore manga art that is somewhat realistic in its own way... while the art is quite something
...
the characters not so much.. you don't see character development even if meant, its something that would make this beauty even more beautiful of a piece, the character remains the same all throughout the manga and we as readers don't even know by the end anything really about the main character's past or motives.
Overall its a great read. Great Art.
By the way, you don't really have to enjoy gore to enjoy this, but yes is a bit graphical.

Decided to write a small review on this wonderful short manga based on the low amount of readers and reviews, at first didn't know much about the story that was told in Blue Heaven but once i finished reading i didn't understand the low amount of readers and score...

Minimal (if not, spoiler free)
Zankyou no Terror is an anime that doesnt look as good as it is, when i decided to watch this i was kinda imagining being a cop vs bad guy kinda chase, and well let me just say its more deep, watching this was kinda reflecting how the world is moved at least in my head, the intervention of the US in the Japan problems is what happens to the real world, govern only cares about objective they dont mind killing some ''ants'' that doesnt concern them. my top 5 ever i mean watching the end of this masterpiece i was speechless and came directly to writing this review. I saw a few people that recommend watching this if u liked Death note but in my opinion this anime is better why so? manly because of the point they stand up, they managed to send a message through an anime which can be really rare tbh, although death note has alot more plot twists this one gets the medal as better anime compared to death note in my opinion.
I was kinda mad while watching it because i only heard of it this too late even if its an anime released like 2 years ago. Anyway, lets go to to the scores now.
Story: 10/10 : Top notch, its a piece that could be made into a book. You dont really expect much at least i didnt but at the last couple of episodes i was amazed and timing was running so fast.
Art 9/10: i cant give it a straight 10 just because there are alot more animes with better art than this one, but the art int his kinda on anime doesnt matter that much to me tho.
Sound 10/10: Regarding the Opening this is the my first time that i dindnt skip the openings, really enjoyable soundtrack and great sound effects, theres only 1 negative thing in the sound matter that is the English pronunciation, and yes i do understand its pretty hard for a japanese to speak english but yeah it was pretty bad they could have done a better job in that part but thats the only mistake in my opinion concerning the sound.
Character 10/10: All characters introduced were really important to the plot even the detective daughter, who was a major part of the history, i cant say much here dont want to spoil too much but the uniqueness in the 2 mcs was really nice they looked like the 2 different sides of the same coin.
Enjoyment 10/10: The show kinda starts slow not in action wise but more like mentally like all animes and shows pretty much you need to watch the more to be engaged with the series, as i said this is basically in my top 5 animes ever watched just because i connected to this show and the message it sends.
Overall 10/10; If you didnt watch this because you never heard of it or just because you have it in your plan to watch list just go watch it right now dude what are you waiting?
Definitely a must watch .

This review was written based of what i have read (from chapter 1 to chapter 61).
From what i have read on the manga i think the story is very well written and is more deep than what i though after reading the first series (tokyo ghoul). Basically this series has a lot more plot twists than the 1st series so lets get into it. As you may know this manga mc is sasaki wich you may know or not his real identity (which i am not going to spoil to people who haven't read it but you may guess it). The story concerns more into

revealing more information on the aogiri true intensions and the so claimed one eyed king and also the meaning of ken kaneki, in my opinion (this may be a spoiler or not since its not been revealed) ken kaneki and rize have a direct relation with the one eyed king (i wont explain this since this is a manga review not a theory but theres alot theories on this over the internet).
The art is simply wonderful in my eyes i love the gore style and dark theme as well, the and over the timeskips in the manga you can see the change in the characters artistically.
The character development is fine you can see some relationships going deeper such eto's and sasaki's, the mc is constantly changing his state of mind meaning he's learning more and more about himself. There are a few useless characters that weren't developed and got ''forgotten'', while a few other characters haven't been getting the shine they deserved such as Touka, fuegushi and arima but i think their time will come specially arima since hes a major character but not so much was revealed...
This series are for sure my favorites in terms of enjoyment i love the ghoul concept and its originality also the anime's soundtrack which i listen to while reading the manga help me getting in tokyo ghoul's state of mind, well its an awesome manga with a awesome plot.
Overall this is one of the few mangas i am reading and well a very special one.

So basically this will be a short review just giving my opinion on this anime without giving up much details.
In my opinion tokyo ghoul is just pure trilling and excitement. The anime went in a different direction from the manga but not a problem at all in my opinion, the manga is great and so is the anime. i recommend it to every person that likes gore and awesome sound tracks as well as that kind of main character that start from weakling to being really strong.
Thats my review hopefully you'll enjoy my favorite anime just for pure taste since i recognize that are plenty

better technical animes than this one probably i fond ''my anime''.

Sound 10/10 (must of because of the sound that the kagune does and Glassy sky on the ost)
Character 8/10 (i think some characters were forgotten but the are doing movies about some characters but still we dont know much about arata (touka's father, maybe they are saving it when they explain arata shield not sure) )
Enjoyment (definitely will catch you eye if not your head (jokes aside haha) its gore has alot of action really nice plot with alot of things to be unfolded )
