When I reflect on my life, I start to realize that there aren’t many moments where I want to just change and make it so that it never happened. I probably think too realistically and a bit cliche, because I believe that all the things that have happened to me, has shaped me into who I am now. However, if I could command Z, it’ll be watching this anime called “Kuzu no honkai”. Not that it’s absolutely terrible, it's just it messed up my mind for a while. That story is about unrequited love, about two teenagers, Hanabi and Mugi, who found out that the ... individuals they've secretly loved for the longest time are together. As these two lonely souls spend more time together, they decide to use each other as a substitute for the one they truly love, sharing physical intimacy with one another in order to stave off their loneliness.

To everyone around them, they seem like the perfect couple. But on the inside of their relationship, they are emotionally empty and selfish. Hanabi and Mugi then start to use the people around them for their own selfish desires, because in the end they can’t have what they truly want. The reason why I want to command Z is because this is messed up, it’s full of emotional baggage, full of regrets and pain that is emphasized in such a great way that I can’t forget. Another reason is because in that show, no character is really likeable. Everyone, including Hanabi and Mugi, are messed up, and distorted in their own ways. Ultimately, the most realistic and honest character is actually the antagonist. It’s probably better if you don’t watch this, but if you want to experience it then go ahead.

One thing this show did was open my eyes to the dirty, unrequited, and unfulfilling side of love, the side people often ignore. Love is a mysterious thing. We often get fixated on the happy romances that we overlook the fact that majority of us haven't experienced that. When it comes to romance, most of us have experienced pain, disappointment, heartache, etc. Which is why the negative aspects that this show brings makes people uncomfortable, and unsatisfied (based on the score). As much as I hated this show the first time I watched it, I now understand the meaning and it's intentions. 7/10.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first season of 3-gatsu no lion. Reading the synopsis, at first I was not hooked in whatsoever, but I made a mistake judging this series by its cover. The second season managed to be even more amazing, captivating on the drama aspect perfectly. Rei Kiriyama’s journey continued and we got to see the development of his character. We got more insight into the opponents and more fun and heartwarming scenes with the 3 sisters.

Art and Sound:
3-gatsu No Lion’s art style is very different from many anime that I’ve seen. There is a sense of warmth in ... the way the drawings are made, the animation alongside the music embellished the scenes and brings out the humanity and the raw emotions of each character and the light hearted comedy. The details are also mesmerizing to look at.

Story and character:
The story picked off from Rei making new friends at his high school and forming the Science-shogi club, supervised by his homegrown teacher. The second season dived deep into different characters lives and presented problems such as bullying, stress, and burden. It balanced those elements in contrast with the beautiful aspects of life. The juxtaposition between those elements makes this story worth watching. The characters that were introduced represented life as whole, through pain, anger, loneliness, and isolation to joy and warmth. The reality and humanity that the characters displayed made this show beautiful.

Enjoyment:
I was overwhelmed by anger when Hinata became a victim of bullying, seeing the comments written on the board and on her desk. I was also overwhelmed with sadness seeing her cry alongside Rei near the river. The joy I felt seeing Rei become the rookie king, as well as the emptiness when seeing Souya lost his humanity during the interview before the match with Rei. I enjoyed this season from start to end, a well deserved 10/10. As cliche as it sounds, this was an emotional rollercoaster that I will remember.

What I loved most about this movie is how Bondrewd is portrayed. Initially in the anime, I got a sinister feeling about him and felt that he was just a pretentious villain. In the movie, that personality is proven to be true to him. He loves the kids and remembered each one of them, but he still proceeded the experiments.

Storyline: 10/10
I loved the journey they embarked on, it was full of mysteries, pain and warmth. I can't help but root for the gang and Riko, but knowing that they're going on a one way path into the abyss, it also makes me curious to ... see how it will end.

Art: 10/10
The detailing of each character is very clear and done well. I loved the design of each of the characters, the surroundings and the backgrounds.

Sound: 10/10
Kevin Penkin is a beast at making music. the soundtrack of this entire series and in the movie is outstanding, and really embellishes the scenes. It's a masterpiece!

Enjoyment: 10/10
This story just sticks out to me because I am very struck by the world of Made in Abyss. Will recommend to my friends.
