I'll be honest if I could give .5s, I would. Namaikizakari, out of 10, is really a 7.5 out of 10. Allow me to explain myself.

I've always been a fan of romance manga, which is what Namaikizakari is. If I were to compare Namaikizakari to another manga, it would be Kaichou wa Maid-sama! Anyone who has read that one will understand what I mean. We have the untouchable, chad male protagonist falling head over heels for someone who could be seen as 'lesser.'

Overall I enjoyed the read because, as previously mentioned, I love romance manga. Anything that makes my heart skip is always something ... I'll naturally gravitate toward, and Namaikizakari is no exception.

That being said, there are quite a few negatives that I think shouldn't be overlooked.

Number one: Characters are underdeveloped.
For some reason, I thought that our characters in Yuki and Shou lacked some depth. Shou didn't really feel like he had changed much, and Yuki, while we did see some growth, it honestly felt like we were going around in an endless loop with her. Yuki would make progress, then immediately take a few steps back, only to regain what she had previously lost.

Number two: Unnecessary subplots and no real conflict
I didn't quite understand why Yuki had all these other guys hitting on her and making advances on her while she was with Shou. Personally, I don't get why that was added. I assume the original purpose was to further cement Yuki's feelings for Shou. However, I do not think any of it helped Yuki's character development. Like there wasn't any real confrontation, no real conflict that stayed for long durations. The only real conflict was when Yuki was upset with Shou, and they decided to take a break for like four chapters before getting back together. You would think that Yuki letting all these moves happen on her would cause a stir in Shou, or Shou letting all these girls hit on him while he's clearly taken would cause a stir for Yuki. Nope, turns out what honestly was a mere misunderstanding was the result of the manga's biggest conflict.

Number three: A Lackluster ending
I'll be honest. The ending to the manga was pretty disappointing and felt rather abrupt. Yuki announces that she wants to see Shou, but we do not get to a chapter when we finally get a reunion between the two after being apart for almost a year. Instead, it immediately cuts to them getting married. Like, what is that? Maybe I missed a few chapters or something, but there clearly is something missing there. I expected a chapter where we see Yuki going to the US to see Shou; I also expected a chapter where we'd see a proper proposal, but none of that really happened. The ending was just like, "... I want to see Shou and hug him," to the next chapter being "... So we're getting married". To me, there is a clear disconnect and it bothers me.

Overall, I did enjoy the manga, for sure. There were many things I liked, but also things I didn't. There are many things that also could have been improved on, but alas, this manga has been finished for awhile, so you cannot change it. I'll live with what I got.

No Game No Life (NGNL) is an anime that involves so many things that made it the highlight of Spring Anime. Character development is amazing, Art is fantastic, and the plot is one that can keep you hooked until you've finished the anime. Especially when you see the ending to this amazing anime, it'll make you want to see a second season! *Lets hope for a second season*


STORY 10/10
The plot is really unique to the anime, since it was unique it pulled the viewer in immediately. The to protagonists Sora, and Shiro are brought into another world; not just any word but a gaming world. ... The main objective is to vs 'God' which is also a gamer too. How will Sora and Shiro get to vs 'God' then watch the anime. The strategy involved in the anime is outstanding as well, you will sit there astonished at how strategic each game is and what will awh you even more is that someone took the time to think out each strategy and move. Finally, sure there is a little bits of Harem and ecchi here and there but it doesn't effect the overall feel of the anime, if anything it makes it more enjoyable to watch.

ART 10/10
The Art in the anime is very spot on, it has a lot of bright colors that all mesh together bringing forth a very colorful anime. All the colors, designs, background detail are all amazing and fully represent this anime for what it brings to the table.

SOUND 10/10
The intro to the anime is outstanding! It is very catchy and it would make the viewer want to get the full song because of how good it is. The Outro is like wise. The times as to when they put in the sounds that would fit the scene is spot on. When you expect a sound/soundtrack to be played then and now is there.

CHARACTER 10/10
Each character has their defining moment that makes them who they are. Each character plays a role that made this anime worth wild, each of them were there to help out strategically as well; so none of the characters were pointless they all played the part.

ENJOYMENT 10/10
I found this very enjoyable because I love the strategy in the anime, I love each character for the part they played and I loved how there is an objective they need to achieve to win it all. I Especially like the voice acting they were all spot on to the character for example *Spoiler* Sora is played by Kirito's voice actor. That made it very enjoyable for me to watch.

OVERALL 10/10
This anime is deserving of it's spot at Top 50 animes. It is also deserving for a second season! I liked it a lot, and I think you'll like it too.

NGNL MUST WATCH! DO YOU EVEN SECOND SEASON BRO?

When I first took a look into Mashiro-iro Symphony I never thought it would drag me in as much as it did. It took hold of my attention when I was watching, and didn't let go of me until I got though the whole anime; and yes I did marathon the anime for me it was that good.
I've always been a fan of romance animes, they're what I go to when I need an uplifting story or a sad one; this anime does it that bill of being one of ... the higher end romance animes that I've seen (and I've seen a lot of them). It may have had those slow moments, and those slightly inappropriate moments but over all I thought the storyline and character progression really overshadowed those moments making it a very good anime. Especially one that can throw around your feelings like it was nothing.

STORY 9/10
The story and how it progressed through each character is what I think make it worth watching. Each storyline per character had it's own story to tell, each one had their own part in the story that just made the anime, and it's characters click. It wouldn't have been a romance if it didn't have it's ups and downs right? The way those problems and resolves came in truly made this story very, very enjoyable for me.

ART 8/10
I thought the character was really good, the uniforms were well designed and well executed in color. Each character had their own unique part of their character that made them different from other character designs I've seen in the past. Also the character expressions were really on point. Though there were little design mishaps, I believe in my mind that it did not effect the anime at all.

SOUND 8/10
I thought the intro was amazing, I even downloaded it because I like it that much. The sounds in the anime were well place during certain parts which really added to the mood of the setting. The only problem for me was there were some parts where a song or two would have played well, but were just blank leaving for some awkward moments but other than that I thought it was really good.

CHARACTER 10/10
Each Character have their own story, which adds to the mood of the story. They all have their own backdrop that pulls you in quite a lot. To be fair, each character were individually good at playing their part in the story that it is without a doubt one of the harder times you can pick out your favourite (couple/person) because each one has their own good qualities.

Overall this anime will forever be one of my favourites!
