I knew this anime when I was looking for gory animes, I actually had more gory choices than School days, but somehow the name attracted me, since the name itself looks pretty innocent and casual.

I confess that in the first 3 episodes I was pretty bored and every episode looked like a 50minutes episode instead of 25, then I saw the 4th and i really became intrigued with the situation but then I stopped watching for a few months, because of all the ... boredom that the first 3 episodes brought me.

But one day I was with a headache and then decided, that it would be the day that I was going to finish School Says and give my own opinion on the anime, I didn't know if I was going to be intrigued, if I would like or even continue bored to death in every episode.

When I "re-started" to watch School days on the 5th episode, I started to became confused with all the situations happening and more and more intrigued with the situation itself and then I really became addicted to the story... The true is that I saw everything in a couple of hours without breaks, even if I had headaches the story was keeping me concentrated and addicted.

What this anime brings to the viewer?

This anime shows how betrayals can affect a person life, how some people can be sex addicted and use the others as he/she wants.
This anime touches on the society wound, this anime shows the reality from the society from nowadays.

The characters

Kotonoha- A really responsible girl for her age, a good girl with no intention of ruin someone's life. In the beginning she is really shy and cute, but with Makoto betrayal's she becomes in a depression that turns her crazy we can see that from the beginning until the end of the anime, we can see that from the fact that see is very shy and can't kiss Makoto but in the end she is giving tongue kisses to Makoto just to do Sekai jealous. Her madness is showed on the end, when she kills she kills Sekai and runs with Makoto's head on a boat. Someone who runs away with a head of a dead person is really needing a Psychiatrist.


Sekai- She tries to help Makoto and Konotoha on their relationship but it happens that she falls in love for Makoto, she was really a happy person and bit of hysteric but that person is also lost on the middle of the anime. I actually understand her feelings and why she killed Makoto's not just because she was crazy or for vengeance, but also to finish with the pain that Makoto brought to everyone.
And there is also the fact that they said her to do abortion, Makoto was irresponsible enough to run away from the parenthood with and abortion but Sekai wanted something to keep them together, Makoto and Kotonoha also kissed in front of her has they were mocking her it brings even more the fact that she really became upset with the situation. I really don't know if she was pregnant or not.

Makoto was a pretty normal guy until "he tastes" and presences that various women are interested in him, based on that I can compare Makoto situation to "The more you have, the more you want". Makoto was really a good guy in the beginning but he really ruined everything and I think that his death was well deserved, because he ruined not just his life but mainly Kotonoha and Sekai's life.

Makoto ruined not just Kotonoha's life and Sekai's but also their families life.

I think I spoke enough for today and I gave enough spoilers has well.

English is not my main language and with that in mind I will just give a short review about this anime.
It is also my first review ^^.

I discovered this anime/manga when I was doing a anime magazine for a college course project, it appeared in all the websites that I researched as "The Most Anticipated Spring Anime 2011", so I started to watch the anime and reading the manga thinking that it would be a great anime.

In the beginning I thought "it's a pretty ordinary anime/manga, the story is pretty normal". I continued reading and watching the anime/manga but then it came the part when ... they reveal that Aria is from the family Holmes and Riku from Lupin, I just started to think WTF is that for? Including fiction characters on the anime just because they didn't had imagination to think in something better. But it just came worst with the familiar from a historical heroine Joan Of Arc.

Despite that I continued to watch and reading the anime and manga, thinking that probably there would be more story or the story could improve with the time.

But then the final part on the anime appeared an I just became stupefied with the fact that Vlad was the Dracula and became a giant Wolf. WTF is that?

The fight against Vlad just happened too fast, they could actually put an effort for an awesome fight during 2episodes at least. Vlad 4th Weak Point was just to easy to find.

Then I dropped the manga, because the anime was a FAIL and I thought "Until now the manga is following the same story of the anime, probably if I read it will be the same thing and the same deception"


So that why I am giving Hidan no Aria a 3.

Story: 3- I think it was poor;
Art-7 I think the Art was the best thing on the anime, the rest was really poor;
Sound- 6 I actually hated the opening, but the rest of the sound were fine;
Character-3 The fact of being character related to fiction character or historical heroines was bad. Kinji "pervert mode" I think it's Ok, but the fact of every girl is after him is just to conventional;
Enjoyment-3 I laugh a few times but it wasn't the anime that amazed me or gave me chills;
