My helpful fox is that type of anime that you watch without thing much about the story. its just two simple characters having an great time together, sure theres some questionable scenes, and sure senko-san looks like an children but at least they don't sexualize her(much). anyway, besides the bad reputation romance anime with loser protagonists give to me, that anime is actually pretty good somehow. the music, the style, the characters, nothing is extremely hateful, everyone haves personality and it makes all of them feel enjoyable or at least understandeable.
maybe the story is an little blank and could't explain more about senko's past and ... nakano's ancestors, like, how does his family have an connection with the kitsunes? or what is senko's parents? but maybe some or more of the questions already got responded in the manga so no much complain about.
theres some complains like how the anime kinda of icentive you to fantasize with senko-san(come one, theres an whole sketch about her taking care of you on every episode after the credits ._.) but nothing that really compromise the anime in general, at least for me.
if you're looking for an cute anime, with an basic story, ̶m̶a̶k̶e̶s̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶w̶i̶s̶h̶ ̶a̶n̶ ̶c̶u̶t̶e̶ ̶k̶i̶t̶s̶u̶n̶e̶ ̶i̶n̶v̶a̶d̶e̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶h̶o̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶t̶a̶k̶e̶ ̶c̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ and chill vibes, thats the right one:)

Its not an good story let's be honest. maybe the fan service also ruins an little bit the experience of watching the it(specially episode 10) but it seems "essencial" for the story in some way or another. its am little confused how urabe's drool can transmit feelings or bruises, but maybe that got explained(hopefully) in the manga.
now the good parts:)
i love the slow but visible evolution in tsubaki and urabe's relationships, same with the relationships with theirs respective friends. ueno is kinda of an weirdo but nothing so hateful about him.
in general its an good anime adaptation, with an very cute art style. theres ... an lack of explanation why urabe's drool transmit bruises and feelings but maybe thats something that will be explained in the manga later on(i still need to read it lol)
i laughed at some scenes but don't expect something extremely funny.
its an huge question in recommend it or not, it is very nasty sometimes and i don't like the ending, its pretty unsatisfying and unclear to me. specially know what really was that really weird kitsune mask couple, but whatever, who cares about my opinion. watch it if you are looking for an peculiar, cute(sometimes) and curious anime, it is perfect for you!
