Kuzu no Honkai is one of those series that looks deep but will leave you feeling empty at the same time. However, I wouldn't say it's no good - because it's good. It's one of those bitter-sweet stories that I actually like.
Story: 8/10
After completing this manga, I was a bit disappointed with the way it ended.. I thought "that's it?" (no I am not talking about the romance part) but that feeling of being let down, I expected something more - especially from the characters, but I didn't get anything except of what they have shown.
What I like about this manga is
...
the way it shows that realistic side of life when it comes to love.
That just because you met that person first, doesn't mean they will like you first.
That just because you have been with that person longer, doesn't mean they will love you more than anyone else.
That just because you have a history and strong bond with that person, doesn't mean they wouldn't choose someone else over you.
That just because you wanted to fill the void using someone, doesn't always mean you wouldn't feel empty.
That just because you get along just fine, doesn't mean you will fall in love with each other - even if both of you wanted to.
And that even though you are obviously the better choice - you love that person and both of you knew that you can love them better - sometimes they still choose someone else (who obviously are no good for them) - it's unfair but that's life.
And our main characters had to learn and accept that reality of life - no matter how painful it is.
Art: 10/10
I love the artwork, the characters looks good and it doesn't look so messy.
Characters: 7/10
There are characters that made me disappointed because they were really interesting at first, only to make you feel empty and disappointed in the end. Characters that you wanted to understand but wasn't able to understand - probably due to the lack of time to develop them (it seems to me that the author rushed the ending)
Although I love the development for the main characters. They were both in a long unrequited love and got their hearts broken, they tried to find a way to heal themselves, they may have wandered for a while but never let themselves get lost. In the end, they realized that they wouldn't heal that way, it's just covering up the wound without treating it but the wound it still there.
With all of that, I ended up really liking the ending for the main characters. Accepting that reality, facing the pain, facing their fear, admit they have lost, they may have wandered for a while but in the end, they didn't let that pain ruin their life completely and didn't let that pain become a reason for them to ruin someone else' life.
Overall:
I gave this manga a score of 6/10 at first but after thinking about it and re-reading the manga, I realized it wasn't that bad, it's not perfect and has it flaws but it's actually pretty good and deserves a higher score than that.

I read this manga years ago - back when it's still publishing. I decided to read it again and see if my opinion about it will change.
Story: 8/10
There's a saying that "first impression is important" and for me, the author did a really good job in giving this manga a good first impression to it's readers. It's almost impossible not to be intrigue with the story and not be curious about what will happen next; what happened to kakeru?, what will happen to him, Naho and the rest?, will they be able to save him? how are they going to save him? will the
...
future the change? what will happen if they keep changing the past? - These are the questions that will definitely be stuck in your head while reading this manga and the very same reason that will make you look forward for the next chapters.
I like how the story look so mysterious and intriguing at the start of the series and how things were unfolded little by little. I also like how they portrayed things about depression and people with suicidal thoughts like Kakeru. Some might say that, Kakeru should get help from "professionals" and that Naho and her friends shouldn't take the responsibility in helping Kakeru - this is right, however.. there are times that even those who seek professional help doesn't really get over their problems and so they still end up killing themselves or do something even worst (just like what happened to Kakeru's mother. Of course, it's also important to seek professional help, however, this anime wanted to show that what's really important is to have people who can support you, people who will be there for you no matter what, people whom you can trust, people who will help you without ever judging you, people who will make you feel loved and most of all - "the determination to help yourself" - this for me is what the story really wanted to show with the way the past Kakeru was treated and how he didn't had any motivation to help himself and how the present Kakeru was saved by his friends which gave him the motivation to keep on living.
Art: 6/10
There were scenes that look messy to me and sometimes the characters emotion wasn't really drawn well or shown well. But most of the time, it's okay.
Characters: 8/10
Kakeru: the manga did a good job in portraying a person with severe depression and suicidal thoughts with Kakeru's character. Sometimes, when we found out that someone we knew has committed a suicide, we couldn't help but wonder "what made them kill themselves? why did they not asked for help? why did they not tell anyone? how come no one around them noticed that something is wrong? how come no one helped them? They look fine and happy..so why did they do that? - at least Kakeru will help you understand.
Naho: There were times when I couldn't help but feel annoyed and frustrated because of Naho (not because she failed to do what the letter asked her to do since that is not an easy task) but I was frustrated at how weak she was at times and how she just let people do what they want with her without ever fighting back and just sit around the corner cry and wait for her friends to help her. But at least she grew up to become a strong girl, strong enough to support Kakeru.
Suwa: I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. The Suwa from the future and the present Suwa. For me, his regret might even be bigger than the regret and guilt that the future Naho was carrying. Although I didn't like that he sacrificed his future child in order to save Kakeru, I still want to see him happy. I just really wish that we can see what happened to him after Kakeru was saved.
Overall: 5/10
Although the parallel world is not really that realistic and there are things in this anime that I don't agree with, this manga is still worth reading.

This manga is a bit similar to Tomo-chan wa onnanoko and Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun.
Story: 9/10
Honestly, I wasn't really expecting anything from this manga at first. I thought it will be just one of those boring manga or annoying manga with female MC chasing after the guy, but reading this manga made me laugh so much, to the point that I do not even want to stop reading even though it was getting late(3am) but this manga kept me wanting more.
Of course the plot is a bit similar to GSNK with the female lead who have a crush on the male lead who doesn't seem to
...
be able to read the atmosphere and completely dense, but at least this one have a clear hint of romance. It is actually one of the things that I am looking forward to.
This manga didn't just made me laugh, but it also made me squeal with excitement every time Kuzumi does something cool. lol
Art: 8/10
I think I have seen some manga characters who looked a lot like Erika...actually I feel like I've seen most characters of this manga in other manga...but the artwork is not messy and it does a good job in making Kuzumi look weird sometimes and look so handsome sometimes.
Character 9/10
Erika: is the most popular girl in school, there are always guys wanting to hit on her. But out of all those guys, the one that caught her attention the most is her weird, short and lame classmate Kuzumi who doesn't seem to care about the world. He's always on her mind and her eyes is only set to him, but she doesn't want to accept that she likes him - how could she fall for someone like him? and so she's in constant denial about what she really feel for him.
Kuzumi: The male lead of this series. He's super short and look so weird most of the time. At first, I thought 'he looked retarded' because of his face and the way he act but, the more I look at him,the more attractive he gets (although he looked so young for his age, especially compared to his classmates). He's always doing something weird and he always pops-up anywhere and he's super dense... but is he really dense? does he really not know anything? is everything really just coincidences, destiny?or... was it all planned? There's so much I want to know about him.
Overall: 10/10
My opinion regarding this manga might change in the future and so is, my review and my score. However, this is how I feel for this manga right now.

After reading the manga...I thought that I should make a review on how this anime failed to show the epicness of it's manga counter part.
Story: 7/10
While watching the anime, I couldn't help but feel disappointed with how the anime failed to deliver the intense feeling that I get while reading the manga. I couldn't feel anything while watching the anime, they added a lot of things that made it look so cliche and too girly for a shounen anime.
I didn't like how they change Bishamon and Ebiso's arc and made it overly dramatic to the point of making me cringe. I also don't like how
...
they made Hiyori forget about Yato "twice" - Yato always fear that Hiyori will forget him one day, that's why he often stalked her, he never found out about the incident in which Hiyori forgot about him and for me, it holds a very important part of the story...the day that Hiyori will forget Yato - sadly the anime ruined that for non-manga readers.
Art: 7/10
The art is pretty good, Yato looked really handsome in the anime. However...there were times when the anime look dead or dull.. which made some episodes boring to watch.
Sound: 9/10
The opening song is also good, it's one of those opening songs that I wouldn't mind not skipping.
Characters: 8/10
Yato: At first..I thought he was just another "funny but cool" shounen male lead, but he changed a lot from how he was at the start of the series. He became so noisy, whinny, a bit of an emo and he can be annoying to watch sometimes.
Hiyori: She's not your badass female lead nor the weak and annoying female lead. She's kind of like Yamato Nadeshiko with a weird side. But for some reason..I can't help but feel like she's slowly becoming more like a side character.
Yukine: He got the biggest character development in this series. Almost half of the series was spent for his character development on how he slowly change from that annoying and ungrateful brat to Yato's blessed and loyal shiki
Overall:4 /10
It's sad how the anime ruined what was supposed to be one of the best shounen manga and made it look cliche and too girly and failed to deliver the epicness of it's manga counterpart.

"You don't know what you got until it's gone" is what this manhwa about. Some people may find the first few chapters annoying because of the female lead - I usually drop these kind of stories as well. But this manhwa is just too intriguing and entertaining to the point that I almost don't want to stop reading. It's really unique.
Story: 8/10
The story is about Darin and Berry - lovers who actually really liked each other, but due to some circumstances, misunderstanding, lack of honesty and trust - they ended up in an unhealthy relationship.
The author did a good job in showing how some
...
people got into an unhealthy/abusive relationship, what it's like to be in one, how it messes them up, what happens to the "Victim" after the relationship ended and how the abused person is also at fault for letting the abuser abused her/him.
This manhwa can be consider as "Psychological and dark" but the author managed to make it light and funny at the same time. However, I am a bit disappointed on how the author turned the story into something different and focused more on Berry and Wally's relationship with that super cliche "rich guy" plot.
Art: 9/10
The art is really nice and so refreshing to look at, there are not too many unnecessary things included and the characters look really good.
Characters: 9/10
Berry: She was super annoying at first, praised seeker, narcissist and argh she's just so annoying. However as the series continue, you will know how and why Berry turned into something like that and how she changed so much after being in a relationship with Darin.
Darin: He is the most intriguing character in this manhwa and the "prettiest" character in this series. The reason why I kept on reading this manhwa despite of how annoying Berry was, is because I wanted to know more about Berry and Darin's past about 'What happened to them and what Darin did to make Berry changed like that. It's just disappointing that the author put Darin aside after focusing on Berry and Wally. The author could've explore more about Darin's character and he's character development.
Overall: 8/10
Despite it's flaws and how the story change into something else, it's still one of the most exciting series I've read.

I watched Ore Monogatari after seeing lots of good reviews about it. Especially because they said that it's "really good" and "unique", but watching this anime made me VERY disappointed.
Story: 2/10
I would've given it a higher score if it wasn't a 24 episodes anime. Why? Because this anime is mostly about "nothing". Lots of people said that it's unique but I don't see anything unique about it. It started off like this: Guy saves the girl, they started to meet a lot.
So the rest of the series went on like this: Meet (there are flowers and bubbles every time they meet), lovey-dovey, meet,lovey-dovey,petty problem,meet,lovey-dovey,petty problem,meet-lovey-dovey,
...
petty problem. Imagine 21 episodes of nothing but the same things over and over again.
Art: 9/10
The art is the only thing that I like in this anime because it's so pretty.
Sound: 4/10
The opening and ending songs are not that really interesting for me, so I often skip them. The were also lots of times where a scene became even more boring because of the background music that's playing.
Character: 4/10
Takeo - There are lots of anime where the male lead is not handsome so Takeo is not the "first". The only difference is that, he is "obviously" very ugly and bigger compared to most of the characters. They said that, "even though he is ugly at least he is kind". But then in this anime, Takeo is not the only kind person. Almost everyone is kind. Even that handsome Suna is kind. So, what makes Takeo great compared to them?
Yamato - is the usual shoujo female lead. Cute,Tiny ( TOO tiny for Takeo which really bothers me a lot), she looks fragile but at least she knew how to make a move on the guy that she like without making herself looks like a flirt. There is nothing interesting about her, some female characters are even more interesting than her.
Sunakawa- The complete opposite of Takeo. He is handsome and popular, but even though he is handsome he didn't act like a bad person. I admire his character a lot. He is such a good friend. But then, I thought that there will be something more to him. Something to look forward to, but none of that happened since this anime focused on Takeo and Yamato's relationship.
Overall: 2/10
I almost want to dropped it after 7 episodes. Because that 7 episodes almost bored me to death, but I have a policy not to drop any anime so I had to bear with it. It would've been okay if it's only 12 episodes.

I watched Kodocha as a kid and I was really hooked into it back then. I remember having this huge crush on Akito back in the days lol. After so many years, I decided to watch it again and read the manga (which I don't know how many times I've read because of how good it is)
Story: 7/10
After re-watching the anime, I realized that it's not really as great as I thought it was. The first 15 episodes was really good because of the plot and I like the whole drama between Sana and Akito's love story. What I didn't like about this
...
anime..is how they made it look like a kid show and how they put so many fillers that doesn't even make sense or doesn't have anything to do with the story.
Art: 7/10
The anime look so old and dark during the first half of the series but it improved a lot during the second half.
Sound: 9/10
The opening song looked like an opening song for a kiddie show. But I love the osts that they used in this anime...the background music suit really well for the scenes that they were in.
Chraracters: 7/10
Sana: I really hate how they made her sing in almost every episodes of the anime, it's super annoying. I hate how stupid she is sometimes and how she just played around when there were problems to be solve (although most of it only happened in the filler episodes) But even though she can be annoying and stupid at times, she can also be reliable sometimes.
Akito: I had a huge crush on him back when I was kid, after re-watching the anime...I started to have a crush on him again. He's one of those characters that will remind you of what it feels to have a crush for the first time. lol
Overall: 8/10
Even though it's no longer as great as I thought it was...I still think that it's one of the best shoujo anime that I've seen. I just really wish that they didn't made Sana sing and looked so hyper in every episodes.

I've always been a fan of "Princess and her Knight" kind of stories, so watching the first three episodes of Akatsuki no Yona really made me feel happy lol.
Story: 9/10
At first, I thought that this will be similar to Fushigi Yuugi (especially because Yona had to find some celestial warriors). But as the series continue, I realized that there is much more into it. The story focused more on Yona's life after she was chased out of the palace and her character development - on how she slowly change into a spoiled princess who think of nothing but her hair into an amazing heroine who
...
will risk her life just to help and save her people.
Something I didn't like about this anime is how they put those comedic relief in what was supposed to be.."intense moments"
Art: 9/10
I really love the art and animation, especially during battle scenes.
Sound: 9/10
The opening and ending song of this anime is really good. I also love the background music and sound effects that they used in battle scenes and other important scenes.
Character: 10/10
Yona: I love the way her character change from that spoiled princess into an amazing warrior and on how the author didn't dragged down her character development.
Hak: He's someone who will definitely make lots of girls fall in love with him. Although I couldn't help but feel that, there is something lacking about his character. I hope that the author will develop his character more.
Soo Won: Is one of those "Love me or Hate me" kind of character. But I must say that his character is really effective on making this series even more interesting.
Overall: 8/10
It's a really good anime. The battle scenes are interesting and the characters are likeable. I would like to give it a 10/10 but I couldn't.. because for some reason, no matter how much I love this series..I couldn't get myself to watch it again.

Naruto Shippuden is the long awaited sequel of Naruto. Naruto is a good anime that's why it's no wonder why it became so popular, however Naruto Shippuden ruined it.
Story: 4/10
Naruto Shippuden started off really good, at least it didn't failed everyone's expectation after the long wait. It was nice to see Naruto and the rest grew up as teenagers -with their new missions and new journey. However... as the series continue, the story started to get messed up and slowly went downhill. The story started to focus more on Naruto and Sasuke's relationship - on how Naruto wanted to keep his promise to Sakura
...
and bring Sasuke back. The fights took so long, not because a fierce fight was going on but because of the long talks during the fight.
Art: 2/10
The characters doesn't look as good as before. The animation is also really bad, it looks so dull. There were fight scenes that could've been great to watch, but because of bad animation, it became boring to watch. There are also times when the characters look distorted -especially during fight scenes.
Character: 6/10
Nothing much has change from the characters...except:
Some old characters that we thought of as cool ended up doing nothing really helpful and ended up like side characters.
There are new interesting characters but the attention for them slowly fade.
The are lots of characters that wasn't given the attention and development that they deserve.
Overall: 3/10
It is really sad... how a good series ended up being disappointing

Fairy Tail is one of those anime that could've been great but ended up really disappointing.
Story: 3/10
The main plot is actually pretty interesting (especially if you are into action-role playing video games). The whole thing about having a guild, taking up jobs and go on adventures was really interesting. But then, as the series continue, it became too cheesy, super cliche, focused on "shippings" and giving off fan-service.
Art: 7/10
It was okay. The characters look a bit younger compared to how they look in the manga but it's okay.
Sound: 5/10
There were lots of ost that was used in this series but I only got 1/2 songs
...
that I actually liked and remember, the rest were just okay - although I skipped most of them after listening to it once. The sound effects were good though.
Characters: 6/10
At the start of the series, the characters were all interesting. They are funny, cute and really adorable but then as the series continue, they became boring and overly dramatic.
Overall: 3/10
The plot was interesting but ended up really disappointing.
