Although the plot is quite different, the lead MC in both series has a similar personality. That is, they're weak, helpless, broken, manipulative and a real crybaby. Though, they do get a lot stronger towards the end of their respective series.

Both anime feature a male mc who is driven by their revenge and hatred towards either vampires or titans. To be frank, they even have similar personalities.

If you liked Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari add

...then you might like Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou add

Both MCs are driven by bitterness and revenge from being scorned by their fellows and people they thought as friends. Eventually, they both become OP and nonchalant, whilst still managing to fight against the concept of evil. If you're looking for some anime where the mc is hated, scorned or looked down on (with an underlying theme of revenge), then these two animes go hand in hand.

They have similar main characters - A badass guy in black clothes (with a secret/hidden past) who fights alongside a blonde girl against evil. These two anime are very, very similar. I'm sure if you like one, you'll at least enjoy the other.
