Ishuzoku Reviewers is an anime that is dedicated to providing a substantially original anime experience to it's target demographic of fan-service lovers of the erotic kind. This anime perhaps weirdly really feels like a strange spiritual follow up on [''Monster Musume''] giving questions on all the answers that came to mind in that anime when it came to sex. The anime is not catering to the general public but those that love this kind of fanservice show. It's practically impossible to accidentally watch this as it's upfront about what it is. Sadly some people have taken it upon themselves to downvote something they haven't seen

and isn't for them but please judge for yourself if you're into ecchi anime.
Most importantly if you dislike seeing very large bare breasts on screen or a squeamish toward the more off-putting fetishes showing up for a second or so you might want to avoid it as well. This anime is softcore by Hentai standards I am thankful for that. Though they may have a reference to them in a comedic manner rather than showing disturbing scenes. Another important fact for those wonder is that while not all women in this series work in brothels most side characters of course do due to that being the topic of the series. Most women openly imply or state to enjoy it for a change and there's even some women in this series do their work as a side-gig that they enjoy.
In the anime itself features reviews done by the main characters from their species perspective, Namely human, elf, angel and ''other. The most mainstay characters are Stunk, Zel and Crim. Each of the main characters has a different view point and often another member of their friends joins in with reviewing or sometimes Crim doesn't join in. Crim is neither a woman or a man but both which is generally called ''futa'' which makes for another very striking thing in this series. Being more innocent than the perverted stunk and zel who while certainly having different tastes are more open about their inclinations. The anime is largely a sexual comedy meaning that for one to enjoy it fully one must enjoy such comedy and the sexier scenes as intended.
***Animation & Sound quality***
The art style might not be your thing as it is a little outside the norm but not by that much. Animation up to episode 4 has been consistent and the fanservice has been paid attention to. While the few action scenes are generally done with budget saving measures this hardly detracts from the series and while it might come off as a little lazily animated it doesn't look bad it just looks like there wasn't much budget put into it but keeps the characters on model.
Vocal performance in this series isn't particularly striking but get's the job done though some of the girls that the males are treated to clearly have star seiyuu behind them and leave and strong impression perhaps much stronger than the main cast still all of the characters come off as quite natural and feel like they fit in this weird world. The opening song however while not everyone's thing is certainly fun and the ending is much of the same. It calls back to quite a famous or infamous song quite obviously.
The anime mostly focuses on discussing the female form, perceptions on the various races and does so in a comedic manner. The anime is definitely focused on providing us with a good view of the girls representing their species. Of course while the female form or rather the feminine appearance of fantastical species does take precedent for most of the series some of the counters make sure to get some amusing lines of the succubus girls and give them a nice bit of personality this gives more variation on top of the girls wildly varying appearances.
Characters
Characterising most of it's female cast fairly varied but okay considering the limited screen time provided. Most more important girls have a clearly established character. Most women in this show are very sex positive. Of course not all girls are equally given time but that's unavoidable. While not deep in terms characterisation it does clearly provide insights in how agreeable the experiences are for both parties which is a plus in anyone's book. These women have chosen this profession themselves and are not exploited by anyone. The show also has some women we don't work as succugirls and some women who do it as a side-gig mostly for their own enjoyment. If one is found even questioning whether these females are truly enjoying this experience after watching even one episode of this series one must be truly delusional or perhaps they haven't really watched the show at all.
That said anyone looking for a disagreeable situation for the females will feel cheated. I myself care not for that thing as the very act of forcing oneself upon a woman in her contempt is off putting for me. Though bedroom games and such are a case of to each their own so I do not judge people who act it out. This series is ultimately what one would call vanilla in certain circles.
While the anime does outrageous things especially in episode 3 where it feels like you're getting much closer to something that would normally not be shown on any tv channel. It chooses to stay rather tame in many ways and though striking and featuring quite a few fetishes it at the same time does aim to have the most common ones featured. While not every episode is going to be your thing each episode up till now has been interesting and quite different. The egg episode is also quite uncomfortable intentionally but might turn people off more than me. Though I'd personally never re-watch it.
While not for everyone pretty much anyone who could appreciate an ecchi anime should appreciate this. The women in this show are actually consenting for once rather than forced in situations of fan-service convenience as well as very sex positive for the most part even those who don't work in brothels tend to be very open with their desires for contact of sexual nature.

If this anime was any uglier
Combined with being any dumber and if the whole world turned into a void. It still would seem better in my eyes then what it is now. Appalling. Would not recommend Not even once. The series is just so ugly ... |
