I am not the first to say that this show isn’t a masterpiece. It’s not…really…but it doesn’t stop me from loving it. Spy x Family has so many good qualities that any issue I have suddenly disappears from my mind. Some elements are just so ridiculous but work, the premise is also something I’ve never seen. Overall, just amazing, I do suggest it.

Honestly? My only criticism is that I wish the episodes were longer! But overall? I really like these episodes. Watched it originally in sun, now working my way to dub and amazing job on all voice actors involved.

Look, I love this manga, and in turn, I love the anime. The voice actors are great, the animation (used to be) is great, everything usually is amazing.
And I know just how much of a time crunch MAPPA animators were in, but this is unacceptable animation to be completely honest. I don’t blame the animators, but I do blame the executives for making this anime so quick. Is it good? No. Is it terrible? Also no. Due to both my TikTok FYP and my YouTube recommendations, along with my Netflix, I discovered this anime. And am I happy about it? I don’t know. The story is a mess, the pacing is awful. Japanese sub is fine, while the English dub is grating (except for a select few, like Sniper Mask). The characters are...fine? Okay, this is the first time I’ve written a review so give me some slack.
Animation: 3/10 The way they did the animation was just...wonky. They basically used manga panels and moved them slightly to act as if they are ‘moving’. It just does not look fluid. Art: 6/10 I like the style. It’s nothing too special, but I have a small inkling of enjoyment somehow. While the animation is bad, I do think that the art style slightly ups the ‘nice’ factor.
