I went into it without knowledge of what had happened to the author or why the episodes were so short (12 min long give or take). Almost skipped it because of how short they were if I'm being honest but the fmc dragged me in just like how the Lieutenant got dragged in. She's adorable and that's always a good point I look for when it comes to these types of anime. I watched it in its entirety and I wanted more. Looking at comments I found out the author was no longer with us and that the manga didn't make it all that far..
