NEW GAME! is an anime about the development of a video game so I can't help but compare this Moe anime to Bakuman (anime about making a manga) and Shirobako (anime about making an anime).
If you have watched one or both of the animes I've mentioned, don't expect that you'll get the same kind of story here, because unlike:
(1) Bakuman, it does not focus much on the development of a video game (as Bakuman focused on the making of a manga, with details on what mangakas do and does not.).
(2) Shirobako, you will only see the character design part of the gaming development, and
...
some debugging and motion but they're not that much explained to the viewer (Meanwhile Shirobako has the main character as the production assistant who basically is like a jack-of-all-trade secretary so she was able to mingle and know the job of different people working for the company.).
What NEW GAME!'s flaw in my opinion is that it focused too much on the daily life of the main characters outside their work, yes, it gives them character development but I felt it was unnecessary for a 13 episode anime, and what I liked about Bakuman and Shirobako is that they explain most things that are foreign to the viewers ears. NEW GAME! did explain some but most of them are basically work etiquette that aren't exclusive for the gaming industry. Also, as this is a Moe anime, it is like watching K-ON! which means less video game development and more eating cakes or donuts in NEW GAME!'s case.
The characters are very cliche though, Hifumi-senpai is the ultra-shy, Hajime-san is the jock or sexy one. I think that only Yagami-san got the character development and she isn't even the main characters. Aoba-chan, the main character didn't stood out for me. Nenechi, Aoba's best friend was likable and their duo with Ahagon-san (I mean Umiko-san) was very funny but if at the sidelines they told us how debugging works instead of looking at video game girl's panties.
The opening song of the anime was catchy but ending song wasn't. There's not that much music that stood out for me.
The best part of this anime I think is the trailer of their finished anime, but I think if we knew what hardships they did just to make this game, it would have been better. I mean they did went through hardships but it's not like it's that dramatic which I think should have been included.
Overall, I enjoyed the anime but it was kinda underwhelming due to how it is about making a game, but it focused more on hardships of working and leadership problems.

I actually considered this on my summer watchlist because I needed a romantic comedy to balance out the list. What I got is a pretty weird romanctic comedy with lots of bleeps and lots pedophiles. It was cringey and sometimes the show can be a drag so I can't really say if you should watch it unless you have some kind of weird fetish.
Story:
It centers around a high school rich girl who stays at a dorm away from her family due to some cliche circumstances. There she meets this tall and mature looking guy who she instantly fell in love. But this guy has a
...
secret and that if she finds it out, she might change her outlook on him, and that secret is that he is a grade schooler, so this is basically a cougar type of romance, there's a BIG difference in their age and their mental capacity. The anime tries to be funny using weird tropes that makes me cringe.
Art:
The art is so bad and it is like so thin looking and tallish art, like imagine, I don't like it and sometimes the animations gets wonky. It is just awful!
Sound:
I didn't like opening songat first but it grew up to me and I never skipped through it. The ending song was not my thing so I skipped it and there wasn't that much standout in terms of background music.
Character:
As you watch the anime, you will begin to hate the main girl, and the main guy because they're a bunch of idiots. There's also the antagonists who are idiots as well as sadists but sometimes you side with them because they are so right. The choices the main characters choose are so cliche and really boring that I can't even, ugh... The other tenants of the dorm are so trope-y and they don't really go out of their one-dimensional character.
Enjoyment:
This anime is the reason why I'm now wary of whatever boring anime that is to come this fall season. Because I didn't like Spring's Joker Game (which gave 100x yawn) and this summer's Hatsukoi Monster. I didn't enjoy that much but I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy all of it, since there was some parts that were funny but the rest were ridiculous!
Overall, this is an anime that must be forgotten due to how it pollutes the human mind with bleeps and pedophiles.

I saw the manga though I haven't read it so when I saw that this manga was going to have an anime, I was WHY NOT? and I was so happy I watched this show. Made me smile.
Story:
Chihiro-kun's life is so dramatic, his mother passed away, and he has no relatives whatsoever. Except Madoka-sama, his uncle, showed up, and gave him a home and all the luxury, but Chihiro-kun doesn't want to, he loves to clean so he became the Boy Maid of the house, thus the story began.
Actually the story was more on character development than the plot thickening sort of thing. You will
...
get to love the characters and symphatize with them as they uncover the cold truth.
Art:
I love the art of the anime, it fits the theme of the show, and I love the dresses Madoka makes, and it so kawaii!! JUST LOVE IT!!!
Sound:
The OP is so lovely, makes for a bright wakeup from bed, I love listening to it everytime. The ED is so cute, though I'm not into Idols but the beat is so catchy. The seiyuu of Madoka-sama is so kawaii!!
Character:
This anime gave me characters to love, and relate to. The backstory of Madoka-sama is so tearjerking, the story of Chihiro and his mom. Also, the other characters weren't one dimensional, they were so awesome.
Enjoyment:
The anime was like a page turner novel, it makes the watcher wanting more, and I sure am.
Overall, the anime needs a season 2 ASAP!!

It was a very lucky thing indeed that I stayed in watching Sailor Moon Crystal. The first season was the typical recruitment of the Inner Sailor Senshis and the second season honestly bored me, so I had second guessing whether I continue the series or not. But thankfully, I did.
Because Sailor Moon Crystal S3 was WAY more magical than the first two.
Story:
The story for this season is very simple yet I quite enjoyed it, I don't know why but I just simply enjoyed. Very typical story of an impending doom. It has all been used by other anime after Sailor Moon but the story just
...
gave me some sorta childhood feeling even though I did not watch a single episode of Sailor Moon back then.
Art:
Good thing they ditched the CGI transformation and amazingly the transformations scenes became quicker and quicker which I liked because the transformation sequence sometimes drag. The character design was vastly improved that you could almost say that this is a brand new one separate from season 1 and 2. Though sometimes the faces get a bit dopey and somehow makes me laugh at the most tragic moments, haha.
Sound:
The OP fits the story of Sailor Moon, it really gives the magical girl feel to the show, soft and graceful yet strong. The EDs were so beautiful, though sometimes the ED did not fit to the ending scene because of how lively it is.
Character:
They are suprisingly character developments in this show but they few inbetween. They aren't really unforgetful characters and they sometimes smell too ideal so yeah.
Enjoyment:
I enjoyed it very much, the fights, the sad scenes and the ending!
Overall, I'm surely going to watch the season 4.

This anime gave me chills, every scene in the anime made me smile, it is that special.
Story:
The story is so simple yet so engaging. Though it isn't something I've seen before, it made so hooked. Midoriya's story made me cry and support him. The story behind each of the characters are magnificently told and they were oh so great.
Art:
The art is absolutely fantastic, especially the animation, though some character designs were over the top, it didn't hinder. The action scenes are so fantastic, you always get choked whenever there's that very suspenseful moment.
...
Sound:
I'm in love with the OP and mesmerized by the ED, the BGMs made the scenes so fantastic, like it makes you cry whenever that music plays, or smile due to how perfect the music was to that great of a scene.
Character:
The main character, Midoriya, is so likable, though he cries a lot, it makes him more grounded to the reality. I like how he runs to save his friends and everything. All Might is the model of an ideal hero, amazing and admirable and reckless. Bakugou, is so cool, and it makes you cheer for him with his backstory. The other characters are so amazing and they blend quite well together.
Enjoyment:
If you want to have fun and cry at the same time, this anime is for you. It does not only have action but there's drama and a little mystery... It's so beautiful.
Overall, this is one of the best animes I've watched.

The show is so amazing making a simple plot to a very entertaining ride.
Story and Character:
Since this is a slice of life, there's isn't much of a story but a bunch of scenes about the characters that somehow creates a story.
This is about Tanaka-kun, who is so lazy and loves to sleep. He will do anything for the sake of relaxing. I can very much relate to him but not to his extent, wherein he does it at a very huge length. His bestfriend, Ohta, is his forever slave, who cares for Tanaka so much that he's willing to carry him for Tanaka not to
...
get tired. There's a lot of other characters that are likable and funny, like the kawaii Miyano, the beautiful relatable Shiraishi, funny tomboy Ecchan, doppelganger Rino, pretty Saya, funny duo Kato and Shimura. There's no character to dislike. It is so comforting !!
Sound:
The OP and ED are so fantastic. The funny thing is, the OP is so relaxing and the ED is upbeat which is unusual for other animes. The seiyuus did a maginificent job at portraying the characters, especially Kensho Ono (Kuroko no Basuke) who voiced Tanaka-kun, he really embodied the tired voice and zero presence that the show needed. The other seiyuus too, are a perfect fit. They are funny bunch indeed.
Enjoyment:
I enjoyed every episode and every scene of the show and am so happy I had watched this anime, this anime brings out happiness in you without much effort unlike other "hype" animes out there.
Overall, it totally deserve a 10 for its perfection !! :D

After watching Haikyuu Second Season, I had to see what Production I.G. had to offer next which was Joker Game for the spring season 2016.
Story
It made me confused and disappointed. I have some historical knowledge but it shouldn't matter in watching anime but this made me think, what happened in Japan in those years.
Also, the anime is episodic so every episode centers in one character doing his spy duties and such. It makes me more confused because they weren't given enough introduction and they sometime look similar to each other.
The mysteries isn't something you can even solve unless you have knowledge about the terms in
...
whatever the episode's about.
Art:
I love the art and how they animated it, and I like how they created the character design of the minor characters. But the spies, who are the main characters, all have similar looks, they just have different hairstyles or maybe because they weren't introduced properly.
Sound:
The opening was okay, and I did not notice any background music that stood out and the ending theme was mediocre.
Character:
They made a mistake by making it episodic, it made little character development. The only character that stood out in this show is Lieutenant Yuuki, since he appears at most episodes but the others are like throwaways that you don't even care if they die or such, since they did not deliver satisfying story about them.
Enjoyment:
I did enjoy the last episodes but the start and the middle are a drag, I must tell you!
Overall, I'm disappointed Production I.G.

Boku Dake ga Inai Machi would have been the best for this season if it weren't for its predictability. It had great things going on, an eerie atmosphere, cool power to go back in time and wonderful characters but since it had too much hype, people were expecting more, and they were letdown including me. Still the ending was satisfying but I really think having only 12 episodes hampered it a bit with it not tapping on certain character development and the twist all the fans would have wanted. Nevertheless, I cried at the ending for it was so heartbreaking.
Story:
The reason I got interested in
...
watching it was because of its plot element, the revival. Every episode is a cliffhanger sort of that tells you to wait for the next episode.
Art:
At first, I did not like the character art since they look so classic, they differ too much to the current artstyle of today. While watching the show, it kinda grew up on me and I liked it a little and the background is amazing.
Sound:
I like the music between the important scenes and it made me excited. This anime has an energetic opening song which I like and an ending that I love.
Character:
Due to the limited number of episodes, only few characters were given focus, Satoru, Sachiko and Kayo, to name a few. Airi had great moments but it focused more on Kayo so...
Enjoyment:
I enjoyed the anime even though my hopes weren't matched. Still, you should watched this, because it is amazingly produced.
Overall, the anime should have been 10 if it weren't for its predictability which all of us don't want unless it is a harem anime where your best girl is the winner. That's all.

This anime had too much plates spinning for it and it just couldn't handle them masterfully.
Story:
It is about a brass band club and their goal of winning a tournament for Kusakabe-sensei. So the anime goes about introducing recruits for the brass band club and alongside that, we get to solve a mystery with the leads Haruta and Chika, then the character gets recruited except for one. It is the basic routine of the anime except towards the end but every episode has a mystery.
Characters:
Haruta and Chika don't have character development in this anime rather we get to know Kusakabe sensei more and the recruits. Those
...
who are already members of the band aren't given the spotlight. The other characters are just throwaway and never really appreciated.
Sound:
The OP and ED are amazing and they really made me watch the anime. Even though this is a music anime, there's less focus on the music.
Art:
The art is so familiar with other animes of P.A. works and it isn't unique but it was beautiful.

I watched this anime series because of Madhouse animating it and that it is based on an otome game, a genre I'm obsessed. But rather I got a lackluster character art, mediocre OP and ED, and did not see romance between the female lead and the other guys.
It should be stated that being based on a BL (Boy's Love) game is more appropriate for this anime since the only romantic development in this anime where between the guys. The touching of hands were rather dramatic since it is the theme of the show.
Story:
If you watched Yowamushi Pedal, the story is like that, wherein the club
...
compete on tournaments and beat schools. It is very straightforward. There's also the issue of a backstory between the main leads that came out of nowhere.
Character:
Though I did like the comedy of the show and the antics. The characters are flat though and their opponents beside Gal-Stan and Kakyoin are so flat since they weren't explored properly.
Music:
The OP was upbeat but it wasn't my type. I really couldn't remember the ED.
Art:
I had high expectations since watching Death Note and Chihayafuru that I will get atleast a artistic anime, but what I got were characters who put too much powder in their faces. The character art was so poor but the background and how they executed the stride animations were spectacular though.
Overall, I did enjoy the anime because it was fun and I like sports anime.
