Preliminary (330/? chp)
Hunter X Hunter is a manga that I both love and hate.

I loved the parts before the Chimera ants, and I hate everything about it after the Chimera ants.

Everything felt fresh and new, and the author feels like he gave up on the manga after Greed Island.

It becomes apparently because the quality of his artwork drops and it starts looking like scribbles then the plot suddenly has huge changes, characters get killed off before they do anything.... it feels like a giant mess; it felt like he wanted to restart the story.

Then all of a sudden even the main character undergoes a big change, ...

Free! (Anime) add
This is an anime that seems to be full of homosexual innuendo.

You are shown a bunch of kids in a swimming club with FEMALE voice actors playing their childhood voices, and one trait they share in common is that all of them have FEMALE like names.

This anime is a bromance? which almost steps over and becomes a homosexual anime but doesn't, and keeps itself to be alllll about swimming but you get some uncomfortable scenes (speaking as a heterosexual person) from time to time. There's a perverted girl that has an obsession to muscles.

This anime was pretty funny, if I ignore the stuff that ...

Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (5/24 eps)
This anime is really a hit or a miss I think.

I notice how there's a lot of people that really like the anime, but then there are some that don't really like it; like myself.

I didn't really enjoy it because it was a bit too slow, and a bit boring for me. For some reason I like Bakuman but not this, maybe it's because of the artwork or something.... For those that might not know, Bakuman is an anime about making manga, and Shirobako is an anime about making anime.

Nevertheless, I can see how this anime might appeal to people who are interested in anime ...

Ana Satsujin (Manga) add
Mixed Feelings
This manga is a really twisted manga without much development.

Basically, it's just a giant mess and it felt as if the author really wanted to make the manga very gory.

I was expecting a manga like Monster, where it was psychological and slightly horrifying; that was a good manga. Ana satsujin is a very simple manga that dwells on death. In a sense, it's "death porn", an extreme emphasis on death to the point where it feels like it's erogenous. There's even a character that gets excited from corpses, which just makes it a tad bit more apparent.

The manga isn't really horrible, but it's not ...

Pretty unique anime.

Dark and lots of gore, wouldn't say the story is amazing because it's not.

If you're looking for a good story, read a book or find something else. If you just want to see lots of senseless fighting and animation, then this anime is pretty good for that.

There's comedy too, kind of weird for a dark and gory anime to have comedy but it's there...

I enjoyed the anime because it was a bit unexpected. It's pretty rare to have stuff you don't see happening in anime nowadays because you can kind of guess whats going to happen before it actually happens, or know who's ...
