I decided against writing a long review for this Ova due to how short it really is and wanted to get straight to the point.
Obviously, this is a sorta sequel to the first two seasons of Nyaruko San and watching it without watching the first two seasons would be pointless and just good for a completion which isn't worth it (your better off watching Shitcom if you really want a completion). The episode continued off the humor the first two seasons produced with a fabulous Hot Springs episode that offered ecchi and mini Kuukos! If you weren't a fan of the humor Nyaruko San
...
offered nor really were a fan in the first place, watching this Ova will most likely not changed your mind at all about the series and probably will still leave you disliking it completely.
Though, if you were a fan. What isn't there to love?
I suggest watching this if you've seen both seasons and enjoyed it to at least a Six out of Ten. Thanks for reading!

There is something about a sequel of a series that usually causes a great portion of the fanbase to get excited or hyped about that said sequel in a positive light. What happens if that said sequel fails to entertain the fanbase that was hyped for it? A 8.27, much lower than Bakemonogatari happens. Seeing this rating alone instantly made me believe that I would enjoy Nisemonogatari less than the prequel, but boy was I wrong. For the season that is often considered the weak link of the three has become my favorite of the two seasons I have seen. Most of you probably think
...
by now that whoever enjoyed Nisemonogatari more than Bakemonogatari loves ecchi and only adored it more for the ecchi, but that is a very unfair claim. Bakemonogatari is a very well made anime and that is just about a fact, but Nisemonogatari deserves as much credit. Now, why does it deserve the said credit? Nisemonogatari deserves credit for being itself and being a semi different experience than Bakemonogatari. While both seasons had ecchi, denying Nisemonogatari had more would be completely absurd. So, why did I enjoy the season with more ecchi and make it my fourth favorite anime of all time? Like I said earlier, most people would say it was the obvious fanservice level increase, but that as said is an unfair claim. Unlike Bakemonogatari, there was never a time in which I got bored. Was it the ecchi that shook lingering boredom away?
The answer: No. Nisemonogatari in my opinion had more interesting core characters and there was never a time in which I ever felt like looking away. With the core characters me referencing being the "Fire Sisters" and Shinobu obviously. Characters are an extremely needed aspect that can either make or brak.... Whoops I flubbered that, "break" an interest in something and that is most likely why at times I found myself bored with Bakemonogatari. While a 8.27 is a great rating to have, it is still lower than its prequel which would obviously make any viewer before going into the season with the thought of it being worse in mind. Ecchi haters will obviously not enjoy this series as much which is completely fine and I'm sure there are tons of people indifferent with ecchi that enjoyed it less which is also fine. I'm not here to change your mind, but to give you my opinion on anime and maybe give someone who has yet to watch this and give them that extra push to watch it.
Story: The story of any Monogatari season is complex and makes us who enjoy anime study what happening on screen with each passing second. In Nisemonogatari, we see the bonding of brother and sister which was not yet tackled in Bakemonogatari. It was a story that was extremely well done even if the ecchi did get in the way at times. If it serves any purpose here, I enjoyed it and feel like if you look past the ecchi you may as well.
Art: The art in Nisemonogatari was as jaw dropping as seen in Bakemonogatari. While I enjoyed the visuals in anime like Ef: A Tale of Memories more, this is still very appealing to me.
Sound: Another great thing about the monogatari franchise. With great openings and endings and a nice set of voices, there is no doubt in my mind that both Nisemonogatari openings would crack my favorite 150 openings of all time. That is opinion if anything, but still worth listening to them if you have not.
Characters: Where do I begin? The characters in Nisemonogatari was of the biggest highlights for me. You have an incredible character in Karen and a couple other new (well, already introduced) core characters that made every passing second an amusing one! If anything, this was easily one of Nisemonogataris strongest points.
Enjoyment: Is it even a doubt after reading this far that anything other than a 10/10 would indicate how much I enjoyed this? Simply amazing.
Overall: I'm giving this a 10/10 of course. While many people will my opinion it is still a fact that my opinion will not change. It is very possible that I will I enjoy the next season of this even more, but for now this stands as my favorite of the two.
I'm very pleased to have this review read by the community and I'm looking forward to Monogatari second season!
Thank you!

You may be reading this review and thinking the following: ANOTHER POOPA REVIEW? Yes, another Pupa review. You may also be wondering why I flubbered early on. To answer your question, it was not me flubbering at all. I'm not Mayoi from Bakemonogatari and this series is just that: POOPA. I mean how bad can an anime be before it deserves a nomination for worst anime ever made or at least a total flop. Well, Pupa is both of those things and the proof was there before the anime even broadcasted its first episode. Upon finding out that Pupa was greenlit for four minute episodes
...
instead of a full duration, I just knew Pupa was going to be worse than spending a full day with a wild constipated Gorilla. Don't believe me? The anime adaption speaks for itself. Yes, give me that Gorilla because this anime is worse than that experience.
The story is about as coherant as the anime "Shamanic Princess", but at least that anime was mildly entertaining at times. I'm an Otaku though so I fight foward seeing the goal of the ending of this anime in sight! A positive though in the story is no episode as of now should be as bad as the sixth episode, or at least it was around that. I will avoid spoilers though, that would be wrong to do.
The opening is actually okay, but nowhere near the best of the season. The best is surely opinion, but this is likely not to be a top contender. The ending is very bleh, heck I barely remember it.
The characters are boring. I sometimes wish the "Wake up Girls" would wake me up, if you got that joke at all. If this anime was longer, the characters "may" of been better, but that is all speculation.
In the end? Pupa is terrible, simply terrible.

I grew up with Dragon Ball Z, but for some absurd reason it took me until 2014 to watch the Bojack movie which is the 9th movie in the Dragon Ball Z franchise. There are numerous Dragon Ball Z movies out there that are pretty bad or left me feeling it could of been better, but let me tell you that the Bojack movie is not one of those Bio-Broly failures. The movie started out with the richest guy in the world offering a huge sum of money to whoever can win his global tournament and then get the honor of facing the world champion
...
Hercule. While it should be obvious to you viewers who the top dogs will be, you may be amused to see a random finding his way into the mix! Though, avoiding spoilers that is all that needs to be said about the tournament.
Now, enter the space pirate Bojack. The man is built like a machine in terms of muscle or in Dragon Ball Z terms Broly. The fight between Bojack and the Z fighters was an interesting one to watch unfold and ended in a way I saw coming, but still a good watch. I'd hate to spoil the rest for you so I guess I'll leave it up to you guys and gals to watch it yourself!
Arrgh!

I've never been a fan of JoJo or have I actually cared about the franchise.. until now! This is the first JoJo animation I have watched so I really didn't know what to expect from the series, but what I got after completion was a fighting anime that left me wanting more.. YES the ever so popular 2012 version.
This anime was far from perfect though as there were times where I was bored and not all the characters were developed as strongly as I hoped. The intro to 4 out of 7 or so of this anime began getting on my nerves and I
...
began wishing they had decided to use a real opening or at least something different. JoJo 2000 is nowhere near the best action anime to grace the anime industry, but was still a fun joyride that proves even somewhat older anime can be as enjoyable as the newer anime.
The ending was a bit of a letdown, but that is most likely because I am so unaware of the JoJo franchise and what to expect timeline wise.
If you are a fan who enjoys mostly new anime.. find some time to try this hidden gem! It may motivate you to try out the 2012 version just like me.. and this as said coming from a JoJo noob.

Lucky Star is anime that made its debut in 2007 and has generated a fanbase among anime fans new and old alike. While the anime does not offer much in the story category, it does offer the viewer a chance to put the idea of needing a strong story aside and allows us to watch the everyday lives of four highschool girls unfold.
While this anime may not be for every type of anime fan and that is very understandable, but if you are one of those anime fans who dislike this genre of anime.. is it a bad thing to being risky every now
...
and then? Being out of your comfort zone might sound like a bad thing, but there are occasions when you just may end up liking a show that you once thought you would not.
Anime like Kiniro Mosaic and A Channel are alright and offers the viewer the same type of experience, but Lucky Star is so incredibly clever that IMO puts this anime on a higher plane than the other two. The obvious best friend relationship that Konata Izumi and Kagami Hiiragi is a perfect example of how clever this anime can get and always seems to put a smile on my face which is something great about anime. Some anime make you sad and others make you scream, but Lucky Star gives you the opposite experience!
Lucky Star is slowly nearing its seventh birthday and year after year seems to stem more haters, but more fans. A future classic is among us.
