This show is fine. I did not find the characters particularly interesting. You're not really given a chance to get attached to the two protagonists or their relationship. They have the occasional hiccup but it's always resolved in the same episode (which is not a bad thing, in comparison to other romance series stretching out simple conflicts over multiple episodes). In general, though, it feels like every episode hits the same note. I've found myself bored as I continue to watch it. If you just like romantic fluff, you might enjoy this. If you are looking for something more character-driven, however, I would look elsewhere.

I really liked this manga. Short but sweet (like basashi, which is apparently sweeter than most meats). The story itself is very low-stakes, making for a relaxing read. Kaede and and Satomi are both adorable! The ending was a little abrupt, but both main characters finished their arcs, so it makes sense. I do wish we could have seen Kaede and Satomi's relationship evolve beyond Kaede helping Satomi regain his appetite, but considering the kind of manga this is, it wasn't necessary. I also really like this mangaka's art. The paintings were very impressive. I look forward to reading more of their work.
