I'm writing this review basically because I haven't seen anyone who has also read the novel do it, and I wanted to be the first to review the series as an adaptation, instead of a simple anime.
With that said…
The anime "Shinka no mi" is a cheap, rushed and a bad adaptation in general.
I'm just guessing, but it seems that, whoever is in charge of this, is trying to compress 5 volumes in a short season anime. That's why I said "rushed". For someone who read the novel, the anime is just jumping from one joke to the next one, leaving any sort of character development
...
behind.
I should say this, when I saw the first and even during second episode I was laughing out loud; however, by third and now fourth episode I finally understood the problem with the story of this anime: there is none. Shinka no Mi is a parody of the isekai genre, especially mocking about the OP-MC trend. But by leaving out the character development, the anime became a generic comedy isekai. In that aspect it reminds me to Arifureta (yes, I'm doing the comparison too); though Shinka doesn't take itself seriously.
Now, about the "cheap" and "bad" part: It is noticeable from the very opening! The abuse of close ups, generic panning of static or looped cuts, and a total lack of dynamism in what should be accition scenes, this anime has it everything to be called "bad animation". And also the fact that is done in 2D makes me think (yes, is just my appraisement) that the budget is lower than that of Arifureta and Kumo Desuga (in its last 6 episodes), which made those mistakes in 3D.
Overall, this anime is a 5 when it comes to an adaptation, and a 3 if you don't have the background of the novel. Why? Because the novel is a parodic comedy and, so far, the jokes are all there. And obviously, without the context you won get the joke; that's why it has a better rating for those who have read the novel and a lower grade for those who doesn't.

I'll start this with something no one has pointed out: The title.
"Patriotism" can be written in two ways: "Aikoku" (愛国: Love for one's country) and "Yuukoku"(憂国:concern for one's country future); what means the title con be understood as "Moriarty's concern for his country"... I know is a futile detail, but it basically tells us the whole tone of the story ahead.
Specially since we have now 3 James Moriatys in the story...
---
After this, this anime is pure premise… I like it, but exactly for the opposite objective of it:
The story of Yuukoku no Moriarty is meant to show us the story of how James Moriaty became
...
the "Napoleon of Crime" under an antihero glass. In other words, it is meant to show us a story about a devilish good guy destroying (murdering) actual criminals. (Basically Light Yagami without a Death Note.)
Now the best and worst part of the story is SHERLOCK HOLMES!! Why? Because this is meant to be MORIARTY'S (NO SHERLOCK'S) STORY!!! My God! Moriarty and his crew are so damn boring that I was going to score this anime with a 5, but once Sherlock appeared, it went right up to an 8 (I didnt' give it a 9 exactly for what I said: this is meant to be Moriarty's story!!).
William is basically a Gary Stu! He will never show a single emotion to which you can relate; there are some reactions, especially toward his little brother, but those are not enough to tell us that James is human (actually, those felt as if he was a robot/doll faking human emotions, coldly and calculated).
Then we have Louis Moriarty and Albert Moriarty introduced as the other two parts of what it's James Moriarty, but Louis ends stuck as a counterpart of Watson (the one that reacts to the observations) and Albert ends out of the picture.
I know this season is meant to be a mear introduction, I get it; but exactly that's the worst part!! The family bond is barely explored (summirised in episode 2 and 3). Then with get 3 more wasted episodes where nothing happens… where they could have explore how Moriarty recruited the other members of the "gang", but no, they just appeared there.
Finally we reach episode 7 and the screen is completely stolen by Sherlock Holmes: sarcastic, impulsive, sinic, obsessive, friendly, funny… HUMAN!! My gooooooooooodness, I finally felt something when Sherlock appeared. I laughed, I got excited, I got curious, I finally had a character to which I could related!!
And furthermore, at the end of episode 11 we get a cliffhanger with few screen seconds of Irene and Mycroft!!
I'm hyped!! But once again for the wrong reasons!!!
I liked this story and I'll see the next season; however, I can't accept that a series that should be focused in Moriarty is making him the most boring and forgettable character in his own series!! For good sake, if the original author wanted to keep the low profile of Moriaty up to the climax of the series, he should have gone and do another adaptation focused on Sherlock instead!! The whole development is just absurd as it is now… (sigh)
… But we have Sherlock.

Let go straight to the point: this novel is absurd (in an interesting way).
I already said it in a recommendation, but this series has the same flavor as series like One Punch Man or Psycho Mob 100 (a parody of its respective genre). Basically, you will find yourself an overpowered MC struggling to cope with his power, driving the story from one tsukkomi to another (so if you are into that kind of comical stories, you sure will enjoy it; but if you don't… you might end stopping the reading between the first or second volumen…)
To explain the previous note, I'll just say:
· The first
...
volume tell us how our MC begins his apotheotic path, how he gets his absurd power, and how he meets the best girl of the series. At this point the story is still a nice adventure comedy.
· Then the second volume introduce us the new world where the story is taking place while giving us a perspective of how storng our MC and his first girl are; finishing with the MC crossing the line between OP to God-mode.
· Finally, from volume three onward, forget about any trace of suspense and enjoy lots and LOTS of tsukkomis about our MC being able to defeat any enemy with a single punch… as his mind melts while trying to believe that he is still "human".
-----------
Story: 7
Outside of the first and second volumes, the story is a big fat mansai sketch! In other words, the story is meant to make you laugh as it doesn't take serious itself.
Art: 9
I'm a fan of U35-sensei! So even if you are not interested in this kind of stories, you should at least go a see the illustrations for this light novel. They are just too lovable! ( ̄▽ ̄)♡
Characters: 6
What to say? This is a catalog of all the stereotypes you can think about (here is where we see the difference between Miku-sensei and ONE-sensei, at least for the comparison I made above). I'm not saying that they are bad, actually I found them well constructed (to some point), it's just that there's barely any develop after volume 2!!
Enjoyment: 8
Oh, oh, oh absurd comedy. This story is perfect to turn off your brain and laugh to your heart content. Although, I can't rate this above 8, simply because the humor is basically completely focused in tsukkomis. Don't mind me, but it is tiresome sometimes…
Overall: 8
This story is not brilliant, actually is very cliche, but it sure is comical. So if you feel like going for an easy laugh while turning off your brain, this series is waiting for you. (・ω<)☆

Let's start with: This is the kind of series that will tempt you with a good concept and then will disappoint you with a lame development. And if you manage to watch it to the end, you will keep thinking: "Why didn't I throw it after the third episode?"
Now, as I say the concept is good. A story based in these mysterious tattoos that give super powers to the ones that get them is quite attractive and the battle scene are good enough to get you curious.
However, with the introduction of "the villians", the main characters began to seem extremely weak. Since that moment, you
...
will keep watching them being defeat by so overwhelming antagonist, that it's hard not to pity them, while you also hate them by how they keep their childish stubbornness till the very end.
The incapability of maturing of the characters is so marked that even the cliche dialogs lost their weight by the subsequent events.
Also, I'll point that this is one of the best examples of how the fanservice should not be added indiscriminately; since, instead of giving it a little spice touch, it ends being just tastless and even vulgar.
Overall, this is a poor series. It has lame characters, a structureless development (it was as if there was an idea for the start, an idea for the end, but one knew what to do in the middle), a mundane fanservice, a barely good art, and an incomplete end.
But if I have to rescue something... The Opening, maybe everything in this anime is a waste of time; however, the opening is really catchy and deserve to be listened... Though it would be better to do it at Youtube without wasting energy in an anime that doesn't deserve it.

First impression: I hadn't laughed that much since Seto no Hanayome. This manga is really hilarious, and by what is seen on its One Shot it will get more action as the story keeps moving forward.
Story: Is some sort of reversed Romeo and Juliet story style, since here two rival families, a yakusa and a gangster one, leaders' want to settle a peace treatment by joining their respective heirs; a guy and a girl than can't see each other with out beginning a ruckus... but that somehow managed to maintain the masquerade to prevent a war between the families.
Art: I can't give it a 10,
...
but it's really good quality and fits perfectly the story.
Characters: The chemistry between then is awesome...
Enjoyment: ... What do I say... I'm still laughing.
Overall: This is a great manga that you surely will enjoy.

This is one of the must fascinating movies I had ever seen. With a story that immerse you on an epic journey where the trust became the motor of strength and perseverance, wrapping you on a world of legendary heros... The visuals are a beautiful recreation of the greek environment, with all their magnificent architecture and sculpture. The music really suits the flow of the scenes, making it one of the most enjoyable soundtracks you could appreciate. Although, even if a love this movie, it isn't for everyone. Most of the plot has a slow rhythm, very pleasant to enjoy de scenarios and the melodies
...
that accompany it. But if you can stop to value this, you would find a really awesome story, that might move something inside you and remember you why to trust.
