The first few chapters were great, I'll give it that.
Starting the story with a persistent and confident female lead, but is actually an elementary schooler isn't something I often see and it interested me. But it soon went downhill. (Enjoyment went from 10 to 5 super fast).
Trying to avoid spoilers here.
Story (6/10):
The plot was cute at first but it felt like trying so hard to make new plot twists along the way. It's too unrealistic in more ways than one (not that a too realistic story is good), it feels rather forced. It could've ended in a sweet ending after 10-20 chapters but they kind
...
of forced it to make the story longer than it should have.
(Also, there's something in the later chapters that contradicts the first few ones)
Art (8/10):
I'll be honest, this isn't my favorite art style, but I still think the art is good and quite consistent throughout the series. Also, the mini characters in a few panels are adorable. Though, I sometimes get confused of Koharu's height.
Character (6/10):
Strong female lead, has strong standing, tries her best to swoon her S/O, but can also have weak points at time. I have mixed feelings for Seara. She has a strong determination, but the part that her whole life is only focused on getting Shuhei irks me.
Shuhei is annoying, to say the least. He's a dislikable character but is soon justified by a reasoning that makes sense.
I lost track of how many characters were introduced in the later chapters, also why do all of them have the same type?
Enjoyment (7/10):
The story is a little relatable and sweet but the new character additions turn me off. To be fair, I'm not a fan of harem but this is just way too forceful.
But since I'm a sweet tooth and give generous scores, I'll give it a 7 to appreciate the author in a way.
TIP: this isn't suited for reading in a go (binge)
I read it in a day (more than one seating tho) and regretted
Minor SPOILER question:
It was stated that Seara never missed any match that Shuhei had in the past. But how is it that Shuhei and Rai forget someone he sees so often (I know Shuhei isn't good at remembering faces and she did have a growth spurt)? Is it assumed that Seara stopped going there at one point or did she grow too fast that they can't recognize her even if she went to see?
This is one of the two questions i have

wow, people be giving out harsh takes on this anime.
call me an easy person, a softie, whatever, but doesn't anyone try to think this anime was made with effort? it's not just an overnight animation. They didn't just put manga panels in and add some season 1 music with no color or animation.
Review has very minimal spoilers, but would be best read after you have finished watching to avoid decreasing your enjoyment in watching, more than it already has from reading others' opinions.
Overall rating: 8/10
Story 6/10
The story may seem made half-heartedly if you only try to compare to the manga that was hundreds of chapters.
...
But if you think that this was going original, they thought this through too. It's not straightly just taking some parts of the manga and leave out the important ones. They made improvisations and modifications.
SLIGHT SPOILER AHEAD
Only downside of this is the part that they didn't show how they fought the nobles which is really important, and it was really rushed in the end on the reforging the promise part.
Art: 9/10
Art-wise, I think it was consistent and the landscapes are great too. The demons' movements are also great but they still have some room for improvements. Humans' faces were less detailed than that of the manga, but was overall still good.
Sound: 9/10
The new soundtracks added and the sound effects were really good. The soundtracks during the battles and some heartfelt scenes are also good, but since the story was quite rushed, some scenes lost its feel too.
Character: 7/10
Characters... well this is subjective. My favorite character Yuugo didn't make the anime, so that got me sad. Also, the parts when it seemed like someone is betraying the others or not keeping their words, the suspense wasn't that intense. Character development for Norman's friends, their stories in Lambda, and their hatred for demons were felt, especially Barbara's.
Enjoyment: 8/10
Despite all those negative things they did in the anime (and opinions of the fandom), I enjoyed it nonetheless. It was a great anime to look forward to each week.
If the rumors are true, then it has successfully made more people read the manga. I had some people ask me whether the manga was recommended or not. (I read the manga while it was still in serialization).

The story feels a bit rushed nearing the end, it was somewhat heavier than the 'free-spirited' beginning. Maybe it was because they planned it to be in 13 episodes but the story gradually got more events.
There's not much i want to comment on
it was a cute slightly romantic in the beginning, and I enjoyed it for the most part.
tbh I was hoping for more.
The art was okay, and the art when they're showing a scene from rainbow shogun is a nice effect.
I came watching here because I liked the opening song, but the OSTs didn't give that much of an effect to me.
There are
...
various characters with different personalities, and they all are interesting.
Overall I really enjoyed the series up until episode 11.
one thing that still bothers me though (SPOILER)
since Teresa came back, whatever happened to the country???

I'm not a fan of 4-koma (I heard that this is also a 4-koma, cmiiw)
but this so far is the best one I've read! I really love it. Usually, I drop 4-komas after 2 chapters but I enjoyed this series for at least 76 chapters now.
(sorry, terrible at making reviews)
The story isn't heavy and it isn't boring too.
The art is pretty much to my liking, it looks great.
Although I keep forgetting which character is Wakamatsu, but every character has quite a distinctive feature.
Overall, this manga is really fun to read, I couldn't let go even though I keep missing sleep XD and I
...
keep laughing at 3 am that I'm worried I might be heard.

(one of my first time writing a review so it may not be good, but I hope it helps)
mild spoiler(?) but I'm sure you have called it too, because I did.
I started watching the original series last week, so I'm not a long time fan, but I really enjoyed watching it.
I see many people are comparing both seasons. Yes, there are major differences, especially in terms of animating the story. All I can say is I liked both styles, both have each their own points. This sequel has some sort of "hanyan" (as Sakura would say) feel to it, or maybe "fuwa fuwa" is
...
better to describe it. The animations are cute, imo.
I haven't read the manga yet, so I'm not sure how this is supposed to be related to both manga and the predecessor anime. I'm still confused about whether the second movie (and prologue) should be considered canon or not if I'm watching this sequel as sometimes it conflicts with each other.
(I think that there are some parts that are predictable idk why but not that I hate trying to guess what's next)
I like romance stories so enjoyment 10/10, love the development!
Also I like the fact that Sakura doesn't go "hoeee" as much now.
tbh I never really liked the songs they play on piano and make it sound like an organ (or is it organ?), I felt like they don't really fit the story (episode 19).
is it just me or did it really end like that??? felt like a cliffhanger but may also be the end??
well, I still think that this anime is great, all in all. I had a great time watching it.
update : I read both the original manga and the clear card manga and boy is there a lot of differences between manga and anime, confused but tbh the manga explains a lot more than the anime
(there's one major difference in sakura's dream in clear card arc, the person who's in the robe, I'm not saying, you should read the manga yourself so I won't spoil the fun)
looking forward to the continuation of clear card arc, I love it!

Not sure if this is a review...
I was so confused as I just finished the anime and the two movies today.
At first, I thought this was the continuation of the anime and Shaoran somehow came back to Japan after the 2nd movie, but why is Eriol back here? and then I started reading other reviews.
I'm usually a manga reader but idk why I wanted to watch the anime more than reading the manga so I haven't read the manga for CCS.
Tbh I quite like this version too, not that I like the colors tho. (I prefer Sakura stop saying hoee all the
...
time, pls don't kill me)
Oh and I like the fact that the same Voice actors came back for this, and wow to keep the same voice from 20 years ago(?).
well im looking forward to watching the sequel tomorrow

I may be a little bit subjective giving this a 10 score, sorry I can't help it. I am a big fan of Rave. I love it how it kind of revives one of my favorite comics, which hardly has any sequel to it, unlike Fairy Tail which keeps getting more and more attention. I love FT and EZ too, but tbh I prefer Rave than the other two.
The story involves DB (let's keep it just that far so no spoilers), which is something I kind of miss seeing. The storyline wasn't something too long and so it concluded in 10 chapters and I like
...
it that way. Although, I'd actually like to see some more action.
The art is also getting better and better and all the characters have their personalities on point. Tbh I was kind of expecting the traits to have been switched or forgotten but they weren't.
and the last scene that was added on made it interesting XD
