Not what I expected.
The only disturbing part of this show is that its rated 13+ despite being so explicitly sexual. Now, I'm not talking about ECCHI or hentai here, but despite not being ecchi nor hentai this show is still explicitly sexual in all other senses.
The first episode is absolute trash, and really based on that episode I can see why people would rate this show something between a 1 and a 3, but once we move past that episode and away from boring childhood friend slash cousin, Mahiru, we get to the real show.
Comedy, sex jokes, and sexual conquests are what this
...
show is all about. And it does it so hilariously! Nothing is held back; not to mention it constantly breaks the fourth wall in most episodes.
If you're looking for a great, sexual comedy with every flavour of girls in the harem, this is it!

Story - 5
If I were playing the game, the story movement would probably be enthralling but as an anime, they didn't do enough to connect the pieces. The Protagonist and her companion move through each floor with several complications that are solved in a far too mundane manner.
And as a horror... this is very lacking. I should feel the thrill or fear (especially as someone who doesn't like to watch scary stuff #scaredycat) but build up and execution is a continual failure.
Art - 7
I do quite enjoy the character designs and the dark aesthetics meshed into this anime.
Sound - 5
To me, there
...
seems to be something lacking with the soundtrack and some of the voice actors execution of their creepy characters. As mentioned, the horror and thriller portion of this anime are lacking and part of this are the lack of fitting sounds.
Character - 7
We don't get much background on focus duo but I actually think that's just fine. It's obvious that little details will be revealed as the story progresses. This is a horror mystery and it makes sense that the characters remain a mystery. The unlikely duo is actually fun to watch despite the dark setting. They each need each other in order to get what they desire and that keeps them together. The characters stick tightly to their character which is perfect! I almost thought they were going to push for unneeded romance between the duo but it seems they've stuck with they've presented.
Enjoyment - 7
I continue watching mainly because I've played games like the one this is based off before and that keeps me on the edge of my seat to see the hidden outcome by the end.

This is a character-driven satire piece masked behind a reverse-harem overhang.
The story moves typical to a harem a show in order to invoke scenes that demand our Protagonist be with her harem. But the story itself is secondary to the dialogue and crack at harem shows themselves which is really what this anime is about.
Because this is both a reverse-harem and at the same time a jab at that theme it pleased both sides of harem loving/hating crowd.
The characters are extreme. So much so, it takes a moment to fully accustom oneself to how ridiculous they are. But this is exactly what
...
makes DamePri so fun and exciting. Not to mention our Protagonist is a down-to-earth girl that is always 100% done with the stupidity and excessiveness of her harem which is not something we see too often on the reverse-harem side. I personally love the way they chose to voice her. When she reacts to things it's not the usual "kyaa' or squeal-- you hear some raw female grunts and gyacks befitting of her grounded nature.
Came for the pretty boy visuals, stayed for the genius satirical comedy and outrageous characters.

TLDR;
Best New Isekai Series To Be Released in 2018
Every moment of this anime is jampacked to the rim with entertainment. The dialogue, the action, the discoveries, the ECCHI! I was certainly never bored.
Demon Lord [title is too long] has enough story and flow to keep you from thinking this a pure fanservice anime despite the extreme ecchiness. I'm not even mad that boobs and suggestive scenes are in almost every scene. Too many boob-shots can be annoying but this anime knows how to use an entertaining story with cute girls without sacrificing one or the other.
Our Protagonist and his reaction to this new
...
world is ever intriguing. He's an anti-social shut-in but outwardly projects as an arrogant and cunning Lord. He's not ignorant or stupid and his knowledge doesn't seem misplaced as is with most Isekai anime.
Only 4 episodes in and I'm already hooked. Now just to wait and see if Ajia-Do continues to produce more enthralling episodes.

I've seen my fair share of "bad" Isekai anime and found varying levels of enjoyment from them despite. BUT, this Isekai anime is appalling--it takes the cake for most painful Isekai anime to watch.
To begin, this anime begins without a proper introduction and NEVER goes back to explain either. In fact, you must watch the opening song if you want to get even a hint of what occurs before episode 1. Its very confusing and the anime does nothing so far (as of episode 4) to properly explain the rules and intricacies of the world or how the protagonist got to where he is.
...
Everything that happens is just an excuse for the Protagonist to add to his harem to which he, of course, has no interest in because he cares more for some bland childhood friend girl that is not even around.
There is absolutely no depth to the story or the characters. Everything is straightforward to a fault. As mentioned, everything is just about having some cute girls in an almost taboo type harem.
This is an anime I was ready to drop before even finishing episode 1. And I probably should have, because the absolutely poor quality remains the same throughout. I say this as someone who has enjoyed some "terrible" Isekai animes. Don't waste your time with this anime.

Lemme just start off by saying this is the overall best male "Idol" anime I have seen. That being said, male "Idol" animes tend to be bland reserve-harem stories spiced up with beautiful boys, songs, and a dull heroine. B-Pro is no exception, however it makes a great effort to not make the heroine not so annoying dull or Mary-Sue like which inturn makes the story much more fun and the anime an overall a great way to pass the time.
Story - 6
The story itself starts without you and there is not much that is introduced about what happens before the heroine comes along
...
even though the story seems to pleading for an explanation about the boys' success before B-Pro [in their respective groups] and how B-Pro "really" came to be.
Still, the plot is nicely paced and the boys get entire episodes dedicated to them, however their are obvious favorites in the way that there is less focus on certain guys. Considering there is 10 guys and only 12 episodes this is a fair sacrifice so that story is able to progress and we're not stuck with a repetitive reverse-harem gimmick.
[Spoiler-ish] However the ending conjured up in the last two to three episodes is surprising and somewhat uncalled for which is why I brought score down a little bit. The theme of this anime is overall light-hearted and gives little to no clues to the darker future which leaves you very confused as as it all happens too quickly and makes no sense. If they expanded this a bit further and the anime was longer this could have played out more smoothly but they compacted it too much at the end there and left the me with more questions.
Art- 8
I personally very much liked the design of the boys. A lot of colours and effects were used throughout the anime to bring life to the beautiful and handsome idols and their life. It was a little more crisp than I expected considering the move to make anime much smoother and softer recently--but the budget may have been used more on the amazing choice of voice actors instead.
Sound- 8
Going into what I said above--the voice actors "made" this anime. It was very enjoyable hearing them speak, talk coquettishly, act, and sing. Most of the songs were very addictive and you very quickly may find yourself knowing how the song goes as parts are played strategically and almost incessantly.
Character- 7
Half of them were unique, interesting and the series focused on them. They had backstories and problems and our Heroine, of course, helps move them forward in their world of fame. However the way they divided the boys was very bad. KitaKore and THRIVE were full of bright characters and the series seems to focus on them and give them extra shine, while the MooNs boys seem to come up short despite making up half of B-Pro. Considering the anime seems to be about bringing these three groups together both in relationships and for fame there should have been some brighter individuals in MooNs. Considering the sacrifice for the plot in this short anime, they should have brought down a member from THRIVE or something to help give MooNs equal opportunity.
Enjoyment- 9
As mentioned, this is my favorite male idol anime show thus far. Plenty of fanservice, pretty boys, entertaining episodes, and songs to keep me intrigued throughout the anime.
Overall- 7/8
My score is a little higher than expected, especially for this type of anime, but there wasn't much I could nitpick at so the score is what B-Pro is deserving of. Whether you like idol animes or reverse-harems, B-Pro is well put-together and an enjoyable 12 episode anime.

Wow. Just wow.
From the beginning this was initially just supposed to be a random romcom to pass the time in between my regular shows, but it became so much more than that. The way I could [somewhat unfortunately] relate to Hikitani--Hikigaya on soo many aspects was just a thrilling experience rather than having to just pretend or wish I was like the female/male lead.
Every episode was filled with great meaning, Hiki quotes, and a fair share of laughs [half the time more sarcastic and sad when you look back on it].
Story- 10
Giving that there is 13 episodes, I don't feel like the relationship
...
is rushed at all. That being said, I can only assume this is also why there is a second season, as the pace of development is very subtle and slow, however very appropriate.
Art- 7
Other than Hikigaya, there is nothing super special about the art. Everyone is designed very well and I like the style and colours. But its also nothing that makes me bend-up-side-down just for the art.
Sound- 8
I actually quite like the choice of voice actors they used here. I couldn't imagine anyone better for Hikigaya, or any of the other characters. It was all very fitting. The OP was also very catchy and one I actually took the time to watch every episode.
Character- 9
Nothing is perfect--But in this anime it cuts it quite close! Hikigaya is a very believable and relatable character which from the get-go gets him 1000 more points than the usual romcom character. I'm not go to indepths but the rest of the cast also sticks to character very well and have very realistic aspects to them when looking back on the social society of school.
The only reason I would think to bring down this from 10 to a 9 is due to my confusion on the slight character perception change of Miura Yumiko. Although it does make her seem more real by not just being a complete bxtch but due to the lack of development between the charas and her I was a tad confused at their slight relationship improvement.
Enjoyment- 10
^~^

I'm an avid fan of Hwang Mi Ri's manhwa, so yes, I am biased. I've read many of her works, and if you become familiar enough with her story preferences then yes it can become pretty predictable and repetitive.
But lets say you had never read any of her works... or weren't soo quick to pass judgement. I think this manhwa is a must read for everyone.
Story - 8
While I'm not too big on anything fantasy, the story remains pretty realistic except for the beginning part in which Hali's spirit is inside Aram.
I was furiously reading this as soon as I started it.
...
Never did I want to break from it. There were various moments in which proper development between the characters occurred. And, its ability to captivate with various emotions throughout the story... I think it does its job well.
Art - 7
If you're more used to manga than manhwa, then you might think Mi Ri's drawing style is old fashioned or 'bad', but I find her art easy on the eyes. It's pretty good. So I give it a seven.
Character - 8
The characters don't change easily just because of 'love'. I like that the characters stick to they're given traits and hidden emotions and thoughts are slowly revealed as development occurs. I don't feel like I came to like or hate anyone I wasn't supposed to xD
Enjoyment - 10
... very much. I think the 10 explains it.
Overall - 9
I would give this manhwa a 10... but as almost every piece of writing out there, there is room for improvement. That being said I think its fine as it is all things considered :3

As a critic, I'd give this a two at best. But as someone who has, sometimes, unfortunately odd tastes... I'd give this a four.
Story: 3/10
The movement of the plot (wait... what plot?) seems only to be just so that the protagonist is able to spend time with all the handsome vampires who abuse her with their seemingly sadistic ways. More than half way through the episodes, you'll see some real plot inserted but it seems random and only for the purpose of driving off the plot-less accusations.
Art: 8/10
This seems to be the only redeeming quality of this show. Even after having read a handful
...
of dreadful reviews telling me to turn away, I continued on because the beautiful art intrigued me. (And I naively thought that the plot couldn't be that bad if the art was so unique and interesting).
Sound: 6/10
The sound was okay. The OP/ED was okay. The voices were okay. It was all okay. Nothing particularly repulsive and nothing particularly ear-catching.
Character: 2/10
If the entire story behind it wasn't bad enough to drive you off... the characters surely would. In my opinion, the characters were worse off than the plot. Not a single person seemed to have respect for themselves or for others, even with the characters that I believe were supposed to be that type of character. The backgrounds of each don't even begin to make up for their behavior and personalities. I'm not exactly sure what they were thinking when this went to the drawing board but this area needs a lot of work.
Enjoyment: 6/10
What can I say? I watched it all.
I wanted more of it by the end of each of the latter episodes. So much so I tried looking into the game after I finished. So I admit I was starting to get intrigued.
However, the beginning half of the anime is terrible and plot-less and really only fan-service(?) for those who are into this stuff.
Overall: 2/10 , 4/10
As I mentioned, this anime is dreadful and pathetic it lacks quality in almost every aspect. This is not an anime I would ever recommend to someone unless 1) we were arguing about what is the worst anime, or 2) I know they have this sort of fetish.
But as a personal partial enjoyment and the amazing art, I'd say a 4! It's decent if you can get passed the lack of respect and plot.

This is not an anime for the faint of heart.
The only disappointing factor I can pinpoint is that soo many people would turn their heads to this great anime because of the absurdly slow and not to mention boring first episode where even the bulk of the characters seem... bland.
The development and background of each character is scarily intricate. You'd be surprised as to how the plot develops and how things that seem bogus and unnecessary become intertwined and key in the story.
The art is not very stunning but its not hard on the eyes either. Its the only thing I'd rate
...
mediocre in this anime.
Durarara wastes no time with anything, everything has meaning. It has a fair amount of comic relief but nothing dragged out and sometimes its even important (behind the laughs).
