It is a quite cool OVA :D and it's quite strange for me to watch the OVA even when I did not watch the prequel(The TV part) hh that's crazy.
Well all in all I enjoy this OVA, especially the first part. The inner thoughts and emotions of the characters are truly fascinating. The first part is better in my opinion. The second part is quite ordinary and I was really sick of this kind of plot to be honest.
Well it seems like it's a story about two video game players and it's quite unique. I really enjoy the first part when Moriko was cleaning her ... house and did some preparation. This kind of daily-life plot is really comfortable for me.

First of all I want to pay my respects to Serinita. Thank you for the great recommendation, and happy 2025! Wish you have an amazing new year and I hope you know you always worth it.

Akuyaku Reijou nanode Last Boss wo Kattemimashita is really a new type of animes that I never watched before(Well actually I did not watch so many animes, just a rookie hh). The otome theme is quite fresh for me. And to be honest the beginning of the anime really made feel like I was watching feel-good dramas(which use to be really popular in my area hh).

Well let ... me break into some specific aspects...

Sound 7/10
I really like the op of this show. The fast-paced part of this song sounds pretty good. Aileen's voice is really charming. And also, Hanazawa Kana's voice is unique as it always is. The ed...... I think is just normal. But the other parts are nice.

Character 6/10
Well there are quite a lot supporting characters in this anime and I'm not quite into this mode. Some names just made me feel strange. It actually covered three stories withiin 12 episodes so I think it's understandable that the portrayal of some characters is not very profound.
However some characters are still good. I really like Aileen's courage and intelligence to face so many difficulties and finally overcame all of them. And I also like Elephas as a character with suspense(not pure bad and not pure good, just...... the complexity of humanity
and I think it's cool to show it).

Art 6/10
The visions are beatiful. Aileen is charming(Especially the "women dressed as men" version). The setting of the weather is interesting hh.

Story 6.5/10
Honestly it's quite interesting to watch three stories in 12 episodes...... They connect to each other and it feels quite reasonable to me. Emm but the stories are not so deep as it dosen't have so much time to develop them...... It's still cool.

This show is that type of animes that everybody can see. It covers so many elements like romance, friendship, loyalty and even some inference (though they may not be like very outstanding). I felt really great to receive the great recommedations!

A pretty good manga. Honestly I was shocked by its part of violence and sex... But it's okay as long as they meant something.
It is part of the DOD series but I haven't read its prequels. But it's still outstanding.

Character: 7/10
Nice characterization. I really dont want to see too many complex roles in only 3 volumes. Well this manga is pretty good, two main characters with easy names to remember and distintive features. But nothing special...It is reasonable but, emm, normal.

Art: 6/10
It truly has some good storyboarding. The violence and sex parts are quite cool in this manga(I can accept though I was shocked ... in the beginning). But some parts are a bit... overdone. Some scenes in the manga were initially confusing for me(I think they might be too messy).

Story: 7/10
It is quite a complete story though it is part of the DOD series. It has good plots and has something I wasn't expecting.

Enjoyment: 5/10
Quite a good manga. But I felt just......normal. Yes it has some cool plots but also has some parts that make me confused. I wondered if there was something meaningful more than just the fights and war. Well...Nothing special in this part.

Angel Beats! Emm...probably my favorite anime(well at least one of them) It is unique...It has a special vibe. I mean this may be the only anime(from what I know) that tells tragedy and comedy so naturally at the same time in just 13 episodes.

Well it is a story about a group of dead teenagers kind of had a afterlife in a school where was full of NPCs. The setting of the story is quite unique. I was kind of shocked by the idea that people who got freed from the suffering would reborn, and therefore dispear in this afterlife world. That's cruel.

People in this afterlife ... world were suffering in their lives. The elder sister who blamed herself for not protecting her sibilings, the disabled girl curious about everything but can do nothing but lie in bed, the boy of good ancestry tired of being a puppet...

Yuzuru... The real angel and probably the best protagonist. He stayed calm when he came to the school, thought independently(Most of us may just accept this environment...) And yes. of course I was captivated by him after watching episode9. You can really see his dignity under such circumstances......He is the reason why the rest of them survived from the accident but the hero died right before the aid came with the organ donation consent form in his hand...... that's sad.

Well let me break into some specific aspects to check the rate.

Sound 10/10
The op is amazing and I got to say MY SONG sang by Iwasawa in episode 3 is just great. Well Iwasawa is a cool character too.
And I really like the special sound effect in this anime. It really made me feel like playing galgame.

Character 8/10
This is difficult for me. The character is good. The talks between them are just like those we had back in the school days. It is funny because it was just so real. And I really appreciated the anime offered some internal monologue of Yuzuru. The lines are concrete. They are really good at using these lines. I literally cried when I heard Yui said she wanted to be married. It was not mentioed before but reasonable enough to come up. Because the shape of characters are great.
But it is truly a pity that we only had 13 episodes here......So we dont know much about the background storied of the other characters like Noda, T.K.(I'm really interested in T.k. but...... the anime did not describe much) So I think it is not fair enough to give 10 out of 10 in Character. Of course the shape of some characters are great like Yuzuru. But there are too many blanks. Well......you cant ask for more in just 13 episodes. So I'm cool with it.

Art 10/10
I feel like it's a different kind of styles compared to Kyoto Animation(for example Koe no Katachi). It does have, like, a very delicate art style. But I guess I just like the vibe. The use of shadow and lights is amazing.

Story 9.5/10
I got to say there are some parts that I was not so into......I would really emo if Yuzuru would stay in this school alone. Feeling so good to see they met each other in their second life hh. You cant do this to Yuzuru. And I really want to see more about their daily life maybe I will go to play the galgame of it and watch some OVAs.

Enjoyment 10/10
This anime really made me feel like I was playing a game. The Key coffee Yuzuru driank everytime during the transition. I saw 13 within like 2 days so of course...... great enjoyment. This kind of immersion in Angel Beats! made it unique.

Overall 10/10
