The cutest Shojo Manga I've ever read?
Out shopping I found some Manga in a quiet low-key store. One of which was the first volume of a series called Komomo Confiserie. The Shojo lover inside me didn't think twice, the cover alone was enough to have me pick it up. Immediately I proceeded to read the series but little did I know how good it was gonna be. Reading it I couldn't put it down because of how wholesome and cute the story was. It gave me Maid Sama and Yoru Cafe vibes except set around much younger and less mature characters. I'd love to read more stories like this in the future cause cute and wholesome romance stories are my second favourite type of romance.
Plot: Komomo Ninomiya spent her childhood living like a princess. In times of loneliness, she found solace in pastries made by Natsu Azumi, son of the family chef. Natsu's confections were neither particularly tasty nor pretty, yet they filled Komomo with overwhelming warmth. After Natsu leaves with his father for France, Komomo spends the next 10 years in luxury, until her father's business goes bankrupt. Demoted from a super princess to super poor, Komomo must now work part time jobs to get by. Her fortunes begin to change after an encounter with Natsu who offers her a job at his confectionery Meli Melo. The current Natsu is entirely different from how he used to be. Only his confections have not changed. With their positions as master and servant reversed, what awaits the patissier and princess?
Story: Komomo Confiserie presents an interesting story. While it's common in most Shojo stories to have a protagonist that has a chance encounter with a boy. But in Komomo Confiserie that is already established in the story. It begins with the backstory of the heroine so after a time skip it's not as if the main couple are meeting for the first time. Throughout it's presented as a story about a girl uneducated about what's it's like to be someone of low standing. A girl who's never experienced love that ends up falling in love. Throughout it's a sweet and wholesome story and aimed more at the cuter aspects of a Shojo story rather than the more romantic and dramatic ones. It paces quite nicely and doesn't feel short.
Characters: Komomo the heroine is a really well developed Shojo protagonist. Over the course of the series she discovers what life is really like after having been in the upper class for her entire childhood. After meeting Natsu she learns all about having real friends and about falling in love. It's almost as if she goes through everything a Shojo protagonist does but being young and inexperienced means she's experiencing everything from the bottom up. She says she loves Natsu's confections but ends up discovering she likes him too. If an Anime had a protagonist like this it could make for a really cute and wholesome story.
Natsu is an interesting character also. He is your typical Shojo male character but he has some backstory with Komomo that sorta reasons with why he treats her the way he does. As a child he's the innocent one looked down on but as an adult it's he who looks down on Komomo. It's as if the roles have been reversed. As mean as he is he cares for Komomo and wants the best for her. As a child she was the only one who would acknowledge his confections and enjoy them so much.
The side characters are great too, they play really good supporting roles while overall not getting in the way of the main 2 characters. They manage to help Komomo grow and develop a lot during the course of the story.
Art & Author: Komomo Confiserie has some of the most beautiful art I've seen in a Shojo Manga. My first story by Maki Minami and I absolutely love her artstyle. It's perfect for such a cute story and it works really well. I can see the emotion in her characters because of the way she draws them. When things were hard on the main character I genuinely felt bad for her because of the feeling and expression put into her when the panel was drawn. She draws her characters all very equally well. Of course the heroine gets special treatment. Maki Minami has this way of writing that could get you invested in any story easily regardless of what it's about. I really wanna go and check out more of her series now. I think romance is something she definitely excels at, especially less serious and more wholesome romance.
Trivia about Maki Minami: You might not know but Maki Minami is the creator of the series Special A which has also been given a TV Anime adaptation. She's known for doing a lot of single volume/one shot romance stories. The story and art for all of her series is done by her.
Conclusion: After finishing Komomo Confiserie I immediately wanted to read similar stories to this. It's a cute romance story but a different kind of cute romance. It reminds me of how much I love Anime such as Kamisama Kiss and Kakuriyo Bed And Breakfast For Spirits. I enjoyed this a lot and I'm so glad I have the physical copy too. It makes me happy underrated and shorter series are being brought over to the west. The spoiled princess and the confections maker, if you like cute and whole romances I would definitely recommend this to you. Surprisingly I give this an 8/10, looking back I've enjoyed reading this more than I have with most of my 7/10 series. There were even times I was disappointed to have to put down the book. Go read Komomo Confiserie, you won't be disappointed!

Ninjanime's Anime Reviews:
Rent A Girlfriend: Studio: TMS Entertainment. Episodes: 12. Type: TV Series. Aired: Summer 2020. Status: Completed. Source: Manga. Prequel: None. ... Sequel: Rent A Girlfriend Season 2. Licensed By: Crunchyroll. Dub & Sub. If I had a guilty pleasure show this would be it. So Rent A Girlfriend was the seasonal I decided to watch last Summer. And while I don't watch many seasonals and usually tend to stick to one, this was the first seasonal I watched in 2020. Due to delays and all sorts of problems during the first half of the year it wasn't really fesable to follow a seasonal without your week by week experience being ruined. So usually me and my best friend decide each season on a show we'll both follow together. Being a seasonal veteran, she got me to start picking up seasonals as I didn't used to watch seasonals in the past. A quick discussion and Rent A Girlfriend was our choice. I began watching it with your typical yeah it's good attitude. But it soon joined my list of Anime drugs. Plot: Kazuya Kinoshita, 20 years of age has just been dumped by his very first girlfriend after only a month. Feeling lonely he decides to use a rental service to rent a girlfriend named Chizuru Mizuhara, a beautiful and attractive girl. However, because she appears to be too perfect, he gives her a low rating. When Chizuru berates him for that, he realizes she is meaner than he expected. However, when Kazuya's grandmother collapses in the hospital, he brings her along and his grandmother is smitten with how great she is. Kazuya continues renting Chizuru in order to keep up appearances with his family and friends, but things get complicated when they discover they are next door apartment neighbors and attend the same college. *SPOILERS AHEAD* Characters, Romance & Drama: From the beginning they set up this really interesting love drama. Kazuya and Chizuru tangled in this big web of lies. It's really interesting watching it all unfold. Over the course of the series we see episode by episode how each character's relationship towards Kazuya changes. Throughout the show the romance is small and situated for how far the Anime is and the overall story is the driving force. Being set in college allows for a lot more possibilities and directions in which the story can go. Free adults not bound by anything means no restrictions. Kazuya our protagonist is a great character. All his bad qualities are what make him good. He's a hopeless romantic and an idiot who has no experience with relationships. Your typical horny main character. But that's what makes him so great. Having such an unconventional protagonist in a romance show makes him a lot more likeable and I think he drives the story along really well. It's often his decisions and things he says that lead to the progression of the plot. Often a bad main character can lead to viewers dropping a show but Kazuya is such an interesting and fun character to watch. He goes through a lot over the course of the first season as he tries to figure out this big mess he's in. He falls out with his friends and realising his faults he does his best to make it up to them. He's a sincere guy at the end of the day who wants the best for everyone in a way that doesn't upset those around him. You can't blame him for what he's done as he's never had any luck with the girls. When he finally got a girlfriend she left him soon after. He chased her not knowing how toxic she really was. In the end he's a victim of a lot of things yet he still does his best to one day please his grandmother. Chizuru Mizuhara is the main attraction of the show. Over the course of the show she develops a lot and even more so later in the Manga. At the Chizuru and Kazuya get thrown into this big mess that only keeps on getting bigger. It's no surprise she would despise Kazuya and act really cold towards him. She wants to get out of this situation as quickly as possible and that means keeping as much distance between Kazuya and herself. But as the show goes on the pair are forced into situations with each other where they must lie more to get their previous lies to stick. Being forced to work together and spend time with each other Chizuru slowly begins to accept Kazuya more and more. The 2 sides of Chizuru are really interesting to see. Her girlfriend mode shows her as the ideal Waifu, she's portrayed as the perfect girl with eyes all over her. But her underlying personality is cold and independent and one that strives to achieve her personal goals. As good as Kazuya's lies are Chizuru is able to use her acting skills to go along with them really well. While spending time with Kazuya she learns that he's not such a bad person after all. In the end Chizuru even realizes what a good person he really is and that he deserves a chance. Chizuru is a great character because she's the perfect ideal girlfriend. She's someone that appeals to viewers whilst also being a perfect fit for a story all about girlfriends. She's too good for Kazuya and that's what makes it interesting to see Kazuya end up with her. Kazuya is a nobody looser and Chizuru is the girl everyone wants how could those two end up together. And that's just what makes the story so interesting. Ruka Sarashina is the next most prevalent character. She's a really good plot driver in this first season. Throwing Ruka into the mix spices things up giving viewers another girl they can route for. One thing that makes romance Anime successful is having multiple girls and giving them all a fighting chance. Ruka has a health condition which gives her a low heartbeat so she seeks a lover to help her with her condition. She's fixated on the idea that getting a boyfriend would increase her heart rate and so when Kazuya does just that she has her sights set on him. She has a very brash personality, she doesn't like giving up easily; often making poor decisions to get what she wants. I much prefered Chizuru but I could see Ruka's side of things. Despite everything Ruka to me was definitely a thorn in the story but I think that was necessary to make things more interesting. She gets more and more involved in Kazuya's life and proves that she's serious about him. I know later in the Manga she develops and changes. As much as she tried to interfere Ruka was a good character and she had her reasons for doing what she did. I liked her determination although I hope later in the story she does begin to back down a little as I didn't like when she was acting clingy and possessive. At the end of the day she's a meddlesome but good girl. Mami Nanami is the first girl introduced to us right in the first episode. I don't mean to be a hater but Mami is the definition of toxic in a relationship. From the beginning of the series she's nothing but poison to Kazuya. She makes for a great Antagonist if anything. She breaks up with Kazuya then purposely leads him on. He was serious about her even believing they still had a chance but she just played with his feelings. She seems sweet on the outside but on the inside she doesn't care one bit about Kazuya yet she finds herself jealous over him and Chizuru. On her social media she badmouths them both, even confronting Chizuru once she finds out Chizuru is a rental.. Throughout the series she was nothing but bad to him despite his feelings and that's why a lot of the fanbase didn't like her including me. That's not to say she's a bad character because I think a show like Rent A Girlfriend needs some toxic trash to be put in it's place later on. Late on in the story I do feel that she will change as a character and realize what she's lost with Kazuya. Sumi is the last girl introduced to us. Although we only get an episode of screen time with her it's enough to get to know her. On the inside she's very hard working and smart but on the outside she comes off as a very shy introvert. She looks up to Chizuru who is her polar opposite, popular and confident. Going on a date with Kazuya is a different experience and allows her to build up some confidence at least enough to respond and thank him. As tough as it is she's doing her best to get better as a rental girlfriend. We don't know a huge amount about her at the moment but I would be curious to see how she develops later in the story and what would happen should she actually fall for Kazuya. The side characters play great roles in the show too. They help Kazuya grow and develop and he really cherishes them as his friends and family. I don't know how relevant they'll be in the future but at the moment they definitely add to the story. All in all Rent A Girlfriend has a fantastic cast of characters. They are all really interesting in their own way and push the story forward as a whole really well. Animation & Character Design: To start off with animation, the show is animated by TMS Entertainment a studio that keeps growing on me. I've watched and enjoyed more and more of their shows recently and I think they are a fantastic and hardworking studio. So I was really surprised to see that a romance Anime like this was being adapted by them. I own the first 4 volumes of the Manga and they have replicated the artstyle really well. The show does it comedic bits really well. The characters have a lot of different facial expressions and they are captured really well. TMS have a really nice and clean look as it is. They make the scenes that are meant to look really nice look amazing. The parts where they wanna make a certain character like Chizuru shine look fantastic. The characters look really good in general. TMS Entertainment know how to do good looking girls and it's proven in their other shows. A lot of the shots in the show too reflect the Manga really nicely. I love TMS Entertainment and they've done a great job animating Rent A Girlfriend. Can I also mention the show has a great soundtrack. Every piece used fits perfectly and matches the scene really well. Some of them are super catchy too. It seems TMS exceeded in all areas of production. Week By Week: At the beginning as I already explained, I had an unforgettable experience watching the series week by week. Rent A Girlfriend is the type of show that was meant for binging and watching week by week. Each time I watched Rent A Girlfriend I enjoyed it just as much. Watching the show week by week was really fun. I started the first couple of episodes week by week with my bff but later on especially I think I might have enjoyed it way more than her cause after episode 4 I was fully invested in the show. Each episode ends with a misleading cliffhanger that leads to nothing making you even more anticipated for the next episode. Watching it as it aired really killed me but it also meant I couldn't give in and binge it from temptation. Once it ends I was like man, what now. Binging it was pretty enjoyable too. Since I knew what to expect I could just sit back and relax. Whatever way you choose to watch the show you'll enjoy it a lot. Dub Vs Sub: So I have watched Rent A Girlfriend 3 times. Yes 3 times. I watched it as it aired Subbed, binged it Dubbed once the Dub ended and rewatched it Subbed again whilst writing this review. The Sub was great no complaints there. The characters all had entertaing and fitting voices. However the Dub was hot garbage. The first Dub that I've felt wasn't even inferior it was outright terrible. And I'm not sure if it's because I watched the Sub first. But even if I had seen the Dub first I wouldn't have enjoyed it nearly as much. The voice actors they choose were overly western and sounded so unfitting. The English voices paired with the characters and their expressions were extremely dislikeable. From the few Crunchyroll/Bang Zoom Dubs I've seen I thought they were adequate or decent. Crunchyroll haven't been doing Dubs for long and are fairly new compared to Funi & Sentai so I guess I understand if they don't nail every Dub and I don't expect them to. The worst has to be Chizuru followed by Kazuya. I even disliked Mami even more in the Dub how is that possible? Anyway if your gonna watch Rent A Girlfriend definitely pick the Sub. Conclusion: Rent A Girlfriend was an amazing show. A really enjoyable experience that I won't forget, good enough I enjoyed it just as much when rewatching it. The romance was great, the comedy was great, the characters were fantastic. If you went back in time and told me TMS Entertainment would animate a romcom and it would be good, I would have laughed. It was inevitable that the show would get a second season. They've barely scratched the surface of the Manga so there no way they wouldn't make another season. And I am super excited for it. I have high praise for Rent A Girlfriend. Most shows end up like Bunny Girl Senpai where they just aren't as good as they advertise to be. But Rent A Girlfriend fixes the issues I have with those types of shows. After everything I've said I would definitely recommend Rent A Girlfriend, I am super hyped for season 2 and I think it deserves the generous score of 8/10.

Ninjanime's Manga Reviews:
The Prince In His Dark Days Author: Hico Yamanaka Status: Completed Length: 4 Volumes/21 Chapters ... Released: Spring 2011-Spring 2013 Genres: Romance, Gender Bender, Drama, Shojo Serialisation: ARIA Cross dressing as someone else because they're also cross dressing?! So recently I finished reading a Manga series called The Prince In His Dark Days. I didn't plan to review it but after finishing it I had a huge smile on my face, a feeling of completing a really good story. One I haven't had in a while. You know I love my Romance and Shojo stories and this series very loosely fits into those categories. Yet it tells such a good tale one that would make you not want to put down the book., Plot: Atsuko's father is a drunk, and she's shunned by her classmates as the poor kid. Walking the streets in a dark fog of despair, Atsuko cons perverts out of their money to survive. Then, one day, she meets Itaru, the heir to a wealthy family, who happens to look exactly like her. Itaru hatches a plan: Atsuko will live his tedious public life for him, and she will get a taste of the luxuries enjoyed by the 1%. Everybody's finally happy. Right? Characters & Story: The main character is the only one I really wish to talk about here. Your standard Shojo protagonist with no mother and a alcoholic father. Taken in somehow to lead a new life but in this case it's only temporary. The main character Atsuko is an interesting one as she follows the Shojo formula well. Throughout the story she's very humble, comes to terms with her own emotions when they get the better of her, fights for her new found happiness and in the end she does get the good ending she's been searching for all along. The other characters were pretty good and although they didn't get as much development it was enough to make them key factors of the story. I really liked the idea of the cross dressing/standing in being the plot. It's not something you typically see in Shojo stories and I think that what the draw in factor of this Manga is. On the surface it doesn't sound that interesting but when you begin reading it you become invested really quickly. It's definitely a habit of mine to get invested in Manga quickly so after the first chapter I was riding right till the last stop. Art & Author: Being my first story from Hico Yamanaka I thought it was fantastic. Much like when I read Happy Marriage by Enjoji Maki and Cross Account by Date Tsunihiro, I already have high praise after just one series. A little research tells me Yamanaka is a Yaoi author as all of her other works fall under that category. Maybe I'll check some of those out but I just can't imagine a Yaoi from her after reading The Prince In His Dark Days. To write a Shojo while specialising in Yaoi is quite something because the genres are extremely far appart. She's done such a good job if I were to delve into any of her other works right away, it may mess up the good view I currently have about her. I think her artstyle is fantastic. It's not super pretty like most Shojo but it just works and feels nice and simple. It's like a fruit on a tree that has a slightly different shade to the others but still tastes as good. It wasn't rough or overly details, it wasn't overly pleasing on the eyes either. It was just a pleasant read throughout. Conclusion: I'm not sure who I'd recommend this too but if your looking to try something new and a little different, go for The Prince In His Dark Days. While it isn't the greatest Shojo out there it successfully presents an unconventional plot and for what it is it's fantastic. It could even open up a door to a new type of story you may not have known about. I give it an 8/10. Finishing it in one sitting, the experience I gained and satisfaction of finishing it said it all. Not the satisfaction you get from winning or beating something, but a happy feeling because your so glad this was what you choose to read.

Mixed Feelings
Review: The Anthem Of The Heart.
Anime: The Anthem Of The Heart Studio: A1 Pictures Episodes: 1 Type: Movie Aired: Summer 2015. Status: Completed. Source: Original. Prequel: None. ... Sequel: None. Licensed By: Aniplex Of America. Subbed. With ongoing worldly affairs I was forced to take a week off of work. My first break in over year it was well deserved and I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it as I accomplished a lot. On the final day I decided to watch an Anime film. After a quick search The Anthem Of The Heart was my choice. No special reason, the plot was interesting enough for me to give it a go. And this review will tell you whether it was worth my time or not. Plot: As a young girl, Jun Naruse is excitable and talkative. One day, she sees her father exit a love hotel, accompanied by another woman. Without understanding the situation, she tells her mother, resulting in her parents' divorce, and her father blaming her for this. While she is crying, she imagines a fairy egg that curses her by sealing her words so she won't hurt people again. As a result of her curse, Jun is unable to speak and she suffers stomachaches whenever she tries to. Years later, when Jun is attending high school, her class decides to perform a musical for their school festival, based on the story of her experience narrated in the form of a fairy tale. Jun is to star in this play along with her class as the leading role. The Anthem Of The Heart was a pretty solid film in my opinion. While it had an overarching plot it felt like more of a character story to me. It was about as good as you'd expect for something by A1 Pictures. The creators behind it are the Super Peace Busters, the team behind Anohana a very well received Anime. The film itself could barely compare to Anohana which was aimed to be a dramatic tear fest. It was the characters alone that resembled the ones from Anohana otherwise I wouldn't have been able to tell. Characters: I liked the main character of this film. I wouldn't say she's good enough to be remember well but a great character in this movie alone. Jun is your average quiet in the back corner character but that's because of a decision she's made. A self inflicted curse upon herself. Due to her own guilt and emotions she's stopped herself from speaking. Feeling responsible enough for what happened to her parents she felt she didn't deserve to speak anymore. Seeing her difficulty at the beginning of the film, the viewer is made to believe that she really is struggling and she really is cursed, although that's not the case at all. You don't see these types of characters in TV series anymore so it's really interesting to see how they are used in Anime films. The rest of the cast were good supporting characters but didn't really stand out to me. I think Jun carries the story well enough that I don't need to mention anyone else. Animation & Character Design: As I mentioned The Anthem Of The Heart was done by the same team that worked on Anohana. The character were definitely something that showed that. The male lead reminded me of Jintan from Anohana and some of the female characters resembled ones in Anohana. The backgrounds and scenery of the film also had that country/mountainside setting to it. Nice sunsets, hilltop views and that classic downhill cycle a character does near the beginning to give you even more of a feel as to where this takes place. The animation wasn't anything amazing. I might be being a bit too critical when I say it looked like just about anything A1 Pictures produced in the early 2010's. A1 Pictures usually go for flashy or big budget animation but that wasn't the case here. It didn't stand out at all, I barely noticed anything but the characters for most of the film. Even Anohana looked better in my opinion. That's not to say it looked ugly because that wasn't the case at all. Staff: I already spoke about the Super Peace Busters and their involvement. They did a great job creating a story that fits in the time span of a movie. The story felt short despite being 2 hours long, it was more of a couple of episodes all conjoined. The director is Tatsuyuki Nagai. He directed Anohana so it makes sense that he would direct this, but it's also a little surprising. He has directed the entirety of A Certain Scientific Railgun, spin off of my second favourite Anime, so seeing him work on such a minor project is unexpected to me at least. Looking at some of his other works he seems to be well aquatinted with A1 Pictures and Sunrise as well as a regular for J.C.Staff. Overall I had no issues with the staff working on this film, they were all very well suited to what they were doing. Conclusion: I thought The Anthem Of The Heart was a great film. While it doesn't stack up to other Anime films I've seen it's pretty good in it's own respect. Direction and production was great but the story and execution faltered a little. I have yet to watch Her Blue Sky, the 3rd project by the Super Peace Busters then I can do a full comparison. If you liked Anohana you might be a little disappointed by this but I still think it's worth checking out. It gets a generous 6.5/10 from me. Well done A1 Pictures but you could definitely do better.

Hapi Mari: Happy Marriage!?

A Happy Marriage For Them, A Happy Reading Experience For Me!
Well not often I do Manga reviews but I just can't not review this one. You know I love my Romance and my standalone series. In my search a good friend of mine suggested to me a series called Happy Marriage?! 10 volumes and 40 chapters, it was worth a shot at some point and boy I didn't know what I was getting myself into this time. When it comes to Romance Manga, this is the peak of what I've read in all my years as a Weeb. Plot: The story revolves around Chiwa Takanashi, a ... 23 year-old ordinary office lady that never had the time nor the opportunity to have a boyfriend in her entire life, who agrees to an arranged marriage with the president Hokuto Mamiya of the company she works in a man she doesn't know in order to pay off her dad's debts. Chiwa believes the arrangement isn't binding, but her new partner seems to think otherwise. This series tells the story of two strangers living together and their way to find a happy marriage. Characters: The story is one in which the main couple Chiwa and Hokuto are already together but also not in a sense. They have closed the gap being married but they still have to become closer together. The dynamic they share is that of 2 people who yearn to be together but with their own personal problems standing in their way. Once they overcome those problems their relationship can further blossom and this is prevelant throughout the series. I absolutely loved following the story 2 people forced into an unexpected marriage only for their own benefits , to then fall in love with each other for real and become the husband and wife they are meant to be. Chiwa is a girl who deserves to be cared for and loved by someone. Strong and independent she always has Hokuto's best interests in her heart despite what happens. Hokuto is a man who would merely use Chiwa as a stepping stone towards his goal only to then fall for her. They give Hokuto's character a lot of depth as he has a deep backstory, something Chiwa tries to uncover. I thought that the 2 were a great couple throughout. They went to lengths for eachother and truly proved their love for one another. The side characters aren't really worth talking about. They were nice to see but in the overall grand scheme of things they did nothing to effect the overarching plot. Romance: The series has great romance and drama throughout. The 2 share a lot of passionate and romantic moments. When Chiwa is sad or mad Hokuto is there to make things better again in the form of affection. Every moment the 2 have is cute and heartwarming. For any romance lover you can't help but ship the 2. The author does a great job of displaying affection without overdoing it. Even the slightly inappropriate bits are just so passionate and wholesome. Josei Manga is meant to portray more realistic romance stories compared to Shojo and it really shows. Every chapter has a wholesome moment in it so you always have something to look forward to. Art & Story: While telling an overall completed story it's really easy to read Happy Marriage chapter by chapter. It feels like each chapter tells a story of its own. So you don't really have to worry about how you read the series, breaking at each chapter is completely fine. The art is of course gorgeous. Shojo and Josei Manga have some of the most beautiful art of any Manga. The characters are drawn in a way that you would easily become attached to them. It's not super cute or Kawaii but rather beautiful and your heart melts for it. To see emotion and character displayed in such a way is so heart warming to look at. Length: I thought Happy Marriage was a really nice and lengthy story. Even at the end I was craving more. If it had an Anime adaptation I wouldn't give it anything less than 50 or so episodes. Happy Marriage is a different kind of romance story and gave me a real taste of what more mature romance stories are like. I feel like a new door has opened up for me, a gateway to the world of Josei and if that's the case I'm ready and excited to read more. Honestly you I dig cute, hot, passionate, heart pounding stories like this. Stories that set my heart alight. Happy Marriage was good enough to rise to the number 1 spot of my favourite Romance, Josei and Standalone Manga of all time. I highly recommend you go check this Manga out if you like romance and Josei. I'm a big fan of romance so I know what tugs at my heart strings. Happy Marriage ticked off a lot of romance boxes for me, even some boxes Golden Time didn't check. But that doesn't change the fact Golden Time is my favourite Romance series overall. I give it a 9/10, completely unbiased because I think this Manga is seriously amazing and underrated. Please go check it out and give it a chance cause I'm positive you'll like it.
