(MINOR) SPOILERS AHEAD

So, I'm not sure what convinced me to start reading this, to be honestl. I think I might've seen a panel that got me interested so one day I got to reading. Looking back, I neglected checking genres and summary and got straight into it (I think the panel I saw didn't give the impression it'd be this hardcore). It became quite clear from the early chapters what was to be expected. The thing is, I'm not really into this genre of media, but maybe it was morbid curiosity that made me want to read more and more. I can't say I dislike ... this manga, since no one (especially women, holy shit give them a break ⊙﹏⊙ ) has plot armor and a character can't bullshit their way out of a situation (Chapter 175 spoiler: Like Kitami having to sacrifice himself to get Uruma and the girl out of the literal deathtrap.).
The manga's brutal, it's ugly and it doesn't sugarcoat things when it comes to displaying human nature and emotions.
So, if your stomach can handle the gore, rape, manipulation, brain-washing and all that stuff, I'd suggest giving it a try!

I had 0 expectations for this show, but gah damn I'm beyond disappointed.

I've no problems with the beginning. You know, a person who has superpowers happens to be shy and socially awkward. Things start feeling very forced when the girl on the upside-down rollercoaster wastes EVERYONE's time by chatting up "Oh no no, it's fiine, just save others first." Then, as everyone's gotten off expect for her OwO! What's this? The rollercoaster suddenly has a change of heart and decides ro skidaddle out of there for some reason? Insert some dumb explanation why it yeeted iteslf out of the rails as it was coming down. ... But don't worry! Our MC is there to save her! Ok! Nice! We caught the cart! Oh no... she hit her head and she's in coma or something >.<. Basically at this point, I decided to watch it at 2x speed to somehow get through at least this episode.
I believe the first episode is very important to set up rules for your world, characters and their motivations, but nah, this ain't it, Chief. Not forced stuff like this.

After being a shut-in for about a month, suddenly some Russian Hero appears in her bedroom (Which, by the way, holy shit is such a joke of a character. Like what am I supposed to feel? Am I supposed to be sad about MC, hoping she works things out little by little at least? Or do I just laugh off this dumbass moping in her bedroom??? And the Vodka-drinking Russian... Of course, of all things. How very creative and original.) and she's like: "... huh." THAT'S IT??! I guess drunk strangers showing up in your bedroom out of nowhere is a normal thing for that universe?

You gotta choose, man. Either you keep a serious tone, or you don't. How many goddamn times do you absolutely ruin a moment to have a "Oh you thought we were gonna have a serious talk here? Sike!" in a span of 20 minutes? Absolute worst use of gag characters.

"Wow." First words I uttered after finishing 151st chapter.
I started reading this manhwa thinking it'd be another trash to pass time with, perhaps even drop if it was especially unamusing.
This manhwa does something I very much like to see. This manhwa doesn't put up MC like "Omg! look at him. He's so cool and badass. He can solo anything and everything. The others? Pfft, useless extras there to die."
The "Extras" are well-built, have distinct personalities and are memorable. Most of all, Author doesn't just kill them off like expendable trash. Couple of times during recent chapters I was at the edge of my seat, ... thinking "oh shit oh shit! Please don't die!" Because that's what author does. They make you love and care for these characters. And the usage of Deux Ex Machina isn't at all cliche, it is actually the main thing keeping you at the edge of your seat.
Now a bit about our MC.
He's a kid - And I mean that in the most non-confrontational way. He's in school and he definitely acts his age, being goofy at times and when necessary taking things seriously. He's not invincible and he's not your power fantasy self-insert- And I LOVE that.
