I could probably ramble on about this series for paragraphs upon paragraphs, but I'll try my best to keep this short~
Art/Animation:
I feel the art style suits the narrative of Mob Psycho 100 perfectly. The quirky yet simplistic nature allows for the comedic moments to shine while also adding a raw, emotional flair to action sequences and more serious moments. I have immense respect towards the people who chose to adapt this series with such an unconventional style. It was an artistic risk that paid off greatly, in my opinion.
Animation, needless to say, is top-tier.
Sound:
I don't have much to say here,
...
other than I found it very enjoyable and, again, suitable to the show.
Character:
One of the reasons I love this series and its writing so much is for the characters. I feel that characterization is handled with much care and thought. Character relationships and interactions are written with a touching realism.
The characters, to me, feel very believable and human in their struggles and I truly enjoyed watching them grow.
Enjoyment:
I wrote a lot about the more serious aspects of this series, but at the end of the day, Mob Psycho is just a lot of fun to watch!! There are a lot of great jokes, great fights, and plenty of excitement overall.
What makes this series truly special is its light-hearted and comedic approach to sharing its themes. It wants you to have fun, while also giving you some useful, real-world advice.
