In a short note:
A tragic heroine tries to survive in a dying post-apocalyptic world while strives for one little happiness that is, a true love.
Story: 8
A fantasy world set in post-apocalyptic world where humanity is wiped and furries rule. The pace starts slowly with character backstory and world secrets revealed piece by piece. But there is a catch. The story starts with main focus on male MC, but in mid series it shifts slowly but surely onto the main heroine. The shift is so subtle that it may trick some into believing that this whole series is about the male MC. Which makes people think
...
this is just a generic show with incomplete ending.
But no, this is NOT about the MC. This is about the main heroine.
Art: 8
Beautiful city and sky background. Cool airship 3d. Subtle 'hollow' effects on heroine eyes. Creepy graphic and text during 'corruption' scene. And most importantly, that massage scene thou.
Also, there are very few battle scenes here since the battle is not the main focus of the show. But the tentacles blood and fairy wing make it worth a while.
Sound: 9
"Scarborough Fair" insert song. It by far surpasses the other OP and ED by a huge margin. I never heard an insert song being used so perfectly in a scene before. It will be used again later in the show, also with perfect synergy with the current atmosphere. The inner voices during 'corruption' phase is a also nail the creepiness of the scene.
Character: 7
MC surrounded by multiple girls and brats, typical standard MC for any LN. But since the show focus on the Main heroine, her character and development truly stands out. Leaving other heroine and side character little space left to shine. Except only for one of the brats and two other heroines.
Enjoyment: 9
Starts with a strong impression. Slow pace with several mysteries revealed along the mid series. Heartwarming ending, while leaving a little bit for open interpretation. Truly a joyful ride.
Overall: 8
A romance-fantasy show, focusing on a single tragic heroine. While the long and weird title may put people off, the story and background art along with perfectly used insert song won't fail to impress you.

In short note:
The alien has come, and they bring cookies. Will you accept?
Story: 9
Politics and Diplomatics. Sci-fi and Philosophy. Everything may seem serious and require you to think a little bit along the show. But the pacing is easy enough for you to be relaxed and enjoying the show. With mind-blowing surprises here and there to keep you interested. This is definitely the strongest point of this show.
Art: 8
Its another 3d series, and it's actually good. Unlike other 3d series from before like Berserk and Ajin, there is a huge leap in quality for this show. The movement looks more natural, face expression and lip-sync
...
also much more accurate. Although the character design still pales in comparison with the high budget 3d movies, but for a tv show this is much better than before.
Also, choosing 3d for this show is the right answer (no pun intended). Because the sci-fi part of this show, also with our Alien friend nature and demeanor. Using a hand-drawn animation might be hard if not at least looks weird, hence the 3d.
Sound: 7
Since most of the time of the show spent with characters talking in a serious situation, there are hardly any BGM at all. It is a serious show after all. But that Op-Ed sounds really otherworldly and its mesh up nicely with the show so there is at least something to tell.
Character: 7
A strong willed MC that working as a public servant and being praised as the miracle worker. An Alien that is a walking ball of mysteries. The heroine that may appear as a typical tsundere but actually has a deeper meaning to it. Also with various sub-character spread across the government, military and press and even scientist. This show has a lot of variety of people with their own personality and thoughts which is good.
Except, this may be a minor thing, but as a non-Japanese this may look a bit weird and biased to see that potrayal on Japs government being so clean and un-corrupted while the people of foreign organization like UN being treated as the greedy one.
Enjoyment: 8
Personally, i hate boring things like politics. But this show has shown me interesting stuff in sci-fi and philosophy that got me hooked into it until the end. Also probably because of those surprises that keeps popping up time to time.
Overall: 8
Mind-blowing sci-fi stuff, cool 3d animation and characters that full of mystery and surprises. If you like one
of them, you will definitely enjoy this.

In short note:
Battle Comedy Harem School. You know, the usual shit.
Story: 6
Usual school setting, with MC being surrounded by girls and "girls". MC starts as a transfer student, and works up his position as he conquers one girl after another. Episodic pacing with a new foe appearing on every episode, which ends with one goal, defeating the final boss. At least it has commentaries on martial art and sword-style on every battle scene.
Art: 7
Heroines design was fine, but MC design a bit derpy, and the "girls" too, I suppose it was intentional so the Heroines will look much better. The battle scene and the blade
...
movement were fluid, so this one may pass as a battle show. The only downer is that MC finishing move animation that keep getting used every single episode. I guess it can't be avoided, with this episodic structure something will get used again for several times.
Sound: 6
Standard bgm during fights and daily live scenes, Op-Ed was ok. Overall, not that noteworthy.
Character: 9
This is a very common genre, with a lot of characters appear on a single show. Many characters appear in them are so bland and forgetful like overused templates. But in this show at least, they are not. Since it has episodic structure, every heroine only have 1 episode focusing on them save the last boss. But even so, the uniqueness of the character stick to the very end of the show. Something that somehow rare in shows with this kind of genre. And the MC is not that wimpy either. Again, something that somewhat rare.
Enjoyment: 7
The battle scene alone is something to look forward for every episode. And the character uniqueness won't make you get bored with daily life scene.
Overall: 7
The usual shit genre with some unique Characters and decent fight scenes. Worthy to be watched once at least.

In short note:
Beauty and the Beast, Fantasy anime version
Story: 8
It seems like a typical fantasy world adventure at first, but the plot thickens in the middle with several twists behind another twist. Although it feels a bit off in the end, this may or may not be the best point of the show.
Art: 7
Standard LN adaptation art style, and Character Design. But the city in medieval age portrayal , Beastmen model and landscapes was looks nice too. The battle scenes and the spellworks were decent even without that spectacular movement. This is a show about mage after all and mage doesn't move that much. The
...
spinning bottle scene was hilariously real.
Sound: 6
Standard BGM during fights, nice ED. Nothing much to say in here.
Character: 6
Aside from MC and Main Heroine, all other Character are so plain. The villain was especially have a bad writing that it doesn't even qualify as a villain. The only person that notable was that one dead character that keeps getting mentioned every time along the show, without even met the MC. If only this show has better writings, this show could be much better.
Enjoyment:7
I got hooked for a while in the middle part, but may put off some people in the last bit. If you can bare the lame part with the curiosity alone, you might as well enjoy this to the end.
Overall:7
Fantasy world full of mages, with some nice city and background art. Have a decent story with good pacing, with the most lame villain ever. Have some potential in the middle, but falls of in the last part.

In short note:
Story: 6
Typical shoujo romance drama with childhood backstory. Not bad, but not so good either. Nothing really new in this part, and perhaps the most lacking thing in this show.
Art: 8
Multiple bishounen with detailed long eyelashes, the art totally screaming Shoujo here. With sublime CG mixed in between here and there, which may or may not be noticeable. The Lightwork on the concert part really push up the intensity which somewhat rarely seen on the other show.
Sound: 9
This is a Music show that actually focused ON the music with some of them spread along the show, unlike the other 'Music' show. And the
...
music itself, is good in my taste. What actually gives me in is the sublime changes in vocalist voice while she sung throughout the show. Notice that her voice changes with her current emotion, it's very slight but it's there and it's definitely a plus for the show. The band reminds me of the old Akeboshi rockets.
Character:8
Main Heroine is very likeable. I like the way she doesn't give a fuck to everyone including her crush. Glasses MC being a teenage edgelord and keeps exhaling lame puns. While the shorty MC being bullied left and right by everyone, poor guy.
Enjoyment:7
The concert part alone is really good. The every day part is rather forgettable, even with some good jokes in between. The plot is weak after all.
Overall:8
Decent Shoujo show with weak overused plot, but good song. The show won't make you watch it twice but the song will.
