Kill la kill was so unexpectedly good. I cant believe I havent watched this anime sooner.
Story- 9
The story was so epic. It was cool. It was awesome. it was Unexpected. Yet it was only about clothes. Somehow, kill la kill made me so deeply invested in a show that was about how people are people and clothes are clothes. It is so...different. Its refreshing to have a story where you cant actually expect anything because everything is so freaking unexpected. As stated by some other viewers, Every kill la kill episode feels like the final episode and its so great how it does
...
that without getting old or stale.
Art- 9
The art style of Kill la Kill is unique, just like nearly everything about the anime. In a period where nearly all the animes look like carbon copies of eachother art wise, Kill la Kill really stands out. Its bold and flashy while also looking more like manga than a computer generated image. It greatly adds to the feel and mood of the anime and I think that the anime would have not fitted in with any other art style. While some people may complain about its "lack of finish" and "ugly look", if you watch the anime you will understand that this particular type of unique art fits in almost perfectly.
Sound- 10
While the opening and closing songs of Kill la Kill are pretty good (I prefer the first opening over the second one), it is the theme songs and back ground music that truly shine and stun. Hearing "DONT LOSE YOUR WAYYYYY" and "Hallelujah" immediately bring chills and memories of various memorable scenes in the anime. A few songs like "dont lose you way" and Ragyo Kiryuuin's theme is so brilliant, especially the second one. Actually as stated by some other viewers, Ragyo Kiryuuin's theme is one of the most pure forms of villan music that has ever been played in Anime. It is a masterpiece.
Character- 10
The character development is outstanding. For the first time ever I feel attached to nearly every single main and side character in the series (except for Harumie nui and Ragyo kiryuuin as I despise them as i should since they are villans). The character that is particularly interesting as well as intriguing is Satsuki Kiryuuin. Without spoiling too much, she goes from hated to loved due to one single episode. Its amazing how well the creators made the characters so likeable as well is unique and interesting, of which i have never experienced in any other anime.
Enjoyment and Overall score- 10/10
As you can probably tell if you have read until now, I love this anime alot. Although that may make me slightly bias, I truly feel that it is amazing and that it is an anime that everyone should watch. From the start where it feels like nice and relaxing with forms of awesome excitement mixed in where in the end you are constantly pulling out your hair, waiting eagerly for the next scene and the next twist. It is a sensation that is rare in anime and can be very badly done. Thankfully with Kill la Kill, they did it well. They did it extremely well and we can all be thankful for how well they did it. So in the end I urge you to take my word. Watch it. Watch it but do not rush it. Enjoy it because this is an anime that you will enjoy.

I was expecting a masterpiece, i was expecting a top quality anime. I was expecting something that was good. I was ATLEAST expecting something that made a small amount of sense.
Atleast i got the last one.
Story- 3
Story is pretty bad for me. It revolves around a guy and two girls. One of the girls has a tragic relationship with our MC, and our MC has a tragic relationship with the other girl. I mean. It sounds good but it wasnt executed very well. The story was perhaps aimed at a target audience of people who have experienced break ups and bad relationships. Maybe thats why
...
i did not get it
Art-8
The art looks way ahead of its time. Albeit poor eye placement, it was very good and would most likely be accepted in 2016's standards. Art was definitely the best part of the anime which is not a bad thing, nor is it a good thing.
Sound-3
Apart from the *amazing* ending song, the sound was very very very very VERY standard. This anime could have definitely been improved with: a) better background music b) a definitive theme song c) An opening song. Pretty disappointing overall
Character-6
Character development is very hard to do in a movie. In this movie we had 3 characters who were developed well-ish, however i didnt feel a connection with any of them. sadly this dampened the story and feel overall
Enjoyment+overall-4/6
Overall i really did not enjoy this movie much. It was without a solid foundation at the beginning and i feel that effected the rest of the movie greatly. This movie may have been for a certain target audience which, as i said, i am assuming is those who have experienced heart break or difficult relationships. If you have not experienced one of those then i simply cannot suggest this movie.

Orange started out so god damn promising.
so
freaking
promising
Story- 7
The story started out well. Actually pretty good. I was engrossed and hooked on the ideas of futures changed by letters and such. It was a pretty fresh idea and I liked it. However it took a turn for the worst at about episode 7 on wards. At the beginning it was original. It was logical. And then it got plagued by ridiculous theory's about how they sent the letters and it completely took away our attention from the story's of the teenagers. Utterly disappointing to be honest.
Art- 7
At first (a running theme in this anime) i loved
...
the art. I hadnt seen a style like it so it was fresh and crisp. They eyes of the characters were especially nice for me. Then oh my god it went down hill. It crashed harder then the truck that hit kakeru. Episode 7 onwards it just became lazy and unfinished. I would have loved to give art a 8 or 9 but i really couldnt after episode 7. Honestly the 7 rating comes from my fond memories of the beginning. Again it was so disappointing.
Sound- 7
Voice actors were nice. Kana hanazawa was great as always, I especially liked her as Naho. The other voice actors were pretty standard. I personally liked the opening alot. At first i was doubtful and was debating to skip it but it grew on me. I really enjoyed the guitar part at the start of the opening as it made the theme sound more original. The ending was standard however and pretty generic. Overall average background music, perhaps below average at times.
Character- 6
I didnt like some of the, in my opinion, subpar character development. We were presented with a gang of friends but only really got to know 3 of them. What about Azu and Hagita's seeming blossoming relationship. I want to know more about them. But we got the bare minimum. the absolute bare minimum. Pretty dissapointed tbh
Enjoyment and overall score- 8/7
Im a huge tragic romance addict. I love them, meaning im absolutely biased towards animes like orange. Perhaps im slightly dissapointed with the fact that it didnt really end up tragic. I came watching this anime expecting something like Anohana or Plastic memories. I came out getting an anime that didnt turn out anything like the former names animes. There is one word that can essentially sum up this anime. Disappointing. So utterly disappointing.

The monogatari series is probably the most under-rated series of all time. They have a huge fan base and all, plus they are pretty high rating from most people however a large amount of the anime watching community refuses to put it in the same light as animes such as death note, clannad, cowboy bebop and other such animes that are held in extremely high regard. Perhaps this is because the Monogatari series is not popular among westerners. Perhaps this is because the Monogatari series is in a category completely on its own.
Story- 9
The story of Nisemonogatari is, in my opinion, an improvement from Bakemonogatari.
...
Unlike Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari had a somewhat fluid story that wasnt so episodic. Characters that were introduced to us in the beggining had parts in the end and were not just forgotten in the dust. Nisemonogatari also felt like a second season as the story actually felt like a continuation of where Bakemonogatari left off.
Art- 8
In what is probably the most unique part of the monogatari series, the art really stands out. One part of Nisemonogatari that I really enjoyed was how they didnt have random slides inbetween dialouge that only stayed there for 3 seconds, unlike Bakemonogatari. The character design in Nisemonogatari is for the most part, good. Although I would have prefered some of the characters to be slightly bolder, or have a "fuller" colour, it was good. Well...Average. But not a bad average, it was like a good average. Something different from other animes which is always welcome.
Sound- 10
The Music of bakemonogatari is truly amazing. Nisemonogatari kept a part of Bakemonogatari that i really liked. It has different Openings for some episodes to give the viewer some sort of insight to what the episode was going to be about. You can tell if you watched the anime that the producers really did spend alot of time on the openings aswell, and did not do them for the sake of doing them. Every opening was unique in its own way and it was nice. Nisemonogatari wisely used the same Ending for its series, which might I add sounded *awesome*. Another aspect of the music which was masterful was the use of background music and theme songs, of which one immediately comes to mind. Kaiki's theme. You may not think it but the background music adds so much depth and detail to a scene. The background music in Nisemonogatari had me feeling tense, or sly, or relieved. It did its job, and it truly excelled at doing it as well.
Character- 10
Some people may complain about Hanekawa, sengoku, hachijuki or senjougahara not getting enough screen time in Nisemonogatari. They got plenty. Bakemonogatari already built those characters for us. We already feel attached to them. Nisemonogatari furthered the former sub characters. We got to see Araragi's sisters for most part of the season, which gave us two characters that were hot like fire (Dont mind my terrible attempt for a joke). We got an indepth look into who araragi's sisters were and we got to see what araragi deals with at home. We also got to see more of shinobu and Nisemonogatari gave her a profile. We never got to see who Shinobu was in Bakemonogatari. Nisemonogatari did the job of developing those who werent developed in Bakemonogatari. This is and was good
Personal Enjoyment and Overall rating.
My overall rating for Nisemonogatari is a nice sparkly 10/10. Nisemonogatari was an unprecedented success as a second season. In my opinion (of which all that matters in a review written by me) Nisemonogatari was a true masterpiece. People complain about the unnecessary amount of fan service, and while that may be some what a hindrance sometimes, but it overall does not heavily effect the series. However, with all the praise I give this series, I would not recommend the series to very many people. The monogatari series is a series that demands you to give it your full attention. If you are swayed even alittle bit, the series becomes somewhat confusing and dull. If you can pay attention and take a great deal of thought to the series, then you will love it as I did.

Angel beats. An anime praised by many, called the second coming of clannad by some, hated by few. An anime that has by many been rated 10/10 or something close to that. Well, I laugh at that.
Angel beats was hot GARBAGE.
Story- 4
Eh, the story was eh. There wasnt much that I can say was good or bad (without spoiling). it was just meh. It was funny sometimes and kinda dumb other times. Not much else to say really.
Art- 7
Six years after it came out, i can still say that the animation is pretty stunning. Its bold and full. Something i wish other animes would
...
do more often. Character design was good (especially the "Hand Sonic" parts, they were particularly good) and they all had unique aspects to them. Overall about a 7. And sadly the best thing that this anime actually has to offer.
Sound- 6
The opening is great. Like its actually a masterpiece. Everything about it sounds rich and beautiful. I do have a few complaints about the opening which will be said at the end as there is *spoilers*. The ending of Angel beats is also pretty good, but not nearly as good as the opening. The voice actors are pretty average, I like yuri's voice actor in particular. However, Tenshi's voice actor is (with all due respect) terrible. Its not that the voice actor as a voice actor is bad, its just that the voice actor does not fit the character that is tenshi. I expected a voice actor with a more cutesy slightly feminine voice, a voice that fitted a kuudere like tenshi. But imo the voice actor of tenshi is more like a tsundere type actor and i feel that if tenshi was a tsundere then it would have been alot better. Well she wasnt though so sadly i have to say that it was bad.
Character- 2
Man. Character development was soooooooo bad in this anime. Literally the most bland main character i have ever seen got the most character development. the supporting cast all have pretty below average CD, except for yui who i felt got good character development. I cant say much now about tenshi and Yuri's CD without spoiling it so if you really want spoilers i will say it at the end :P
Enjoyment- 1
I legit had to force myself to sit through this dogs**t anime (excuse the language). I cant really see how other people can rate this a 10/10 with the quality the anime is at right now. Plot holes and poor characters drove this anime to the ground and burried it. Maybe I did not enjoy this anime because i came in with an attitude to cry. I thought this anime would actually make me cry like anohana and plastic memories. But in the end i found myself laughing. And i wasnt laughing for good reasons either.
continue now if you dont fear a rant full of *spoiiiiiiiiiiiiilers*
Ok guys. this anime SUCKED SO BAD I CANT EVEN
LIKE MAN I THIS WAS ADVERTISED BY ALOT OF PEOPLE THAT IS WAS AN ANIME THAT WOULD 100% MAKE YOU CRY. LIKE WHAT. ITS LITERALLY AN EPISODIC BASED ANIME WHERE EVERYTHING SEMI SERIOUS TAKES PLACE IN THE UNDERGROUND BASE THINGY. LIKE BRUH. THEN WE GOT THIS LIL BISH CALLED KANADE. LIKE MAN THERE IS SO MUCH WRONG WITH HER. NORMALLY I LIKE HER TYPE OF CHARACTER BUT NAH. MY FIRST PROBLEM WITH HER IS LINKED TO THE OPENING...the opening is good and all but wtf why is she playing a god damn PIANO. THE ONLY FORM OF MUSIC AND MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS IN THE ANIME IS THE ROCK BAND (which is pretty good actually) BUT LIKE BRUH. THERES NOT EVEN ANY MENTION OF HER AND A PIANO, SOME PEOPLE MIGHT SAY THAT ITS BECAUSE HER NAME IS THE MEANING OF MUSIC OR SOMETHING. BUT LIKE IDGAF IF THERES NO PIANO THEN SHE SHOULDNT BE PLAYING PIANO. ANOTHER PROBLEM I HAVE WITH HER IS HOW FRUSTRATING SHE WAS PUSHED TO BE WITH OTONASHI. LIKE OMG THEY DIDNT FIT. The romantic interest was not even built until after halfway. and when there was so called "romance" it didnt feel natural. The ending would have been 10x better if otonashi and yuri became a couple. that felt a ton more natural. In my opinion kanade is just a worse isla (from plastic memories, an anime which i love more then anything XD). some other things that bothered me from the anime was lack of flow from episode to episode. Like it seemed more of a slice of life comedy at times. I also didnt like how easily it was to defeat the guy who made the NPC's into ghost. Like come on. this guy turned things into soul sucking monsters. ATLEAST TRY TO MAKE HIM LOOK STRONG. LIKE LEGIT YURI JUST BLASTED EVERYTHING AND THEN HE WAS DEFEATED. WHOOP DE DOO. but the thing that frustrated me more then anything was that ending. the "truth" was revealed that kanade had otonoshis heart from when he donated the organs. it had the most gigantic plot hole in anime history. How was kanade there before him if he supposedly gave her his heart to live on when he died after her in terms of logic and reasoning? Its kinda possible that he was in a state of nothingness after he died for like a few years or decades or something but that wasnt explained to us. also i want to know what happened to otonashi after he lost kanade. this anime needed more episodes, but it cant have a second season now. it really cant. so in the end this anime was s**t. i dont suggest it to anyone. infact i tell them to stay away from it.

Kimi no na wa was a movie that had a whole lot of hype behind it, and usually that means that expectations are set sky high and are almost never met, with few exceptions.
Kimi no na wa is defiantly an exception.
Story- 9
The story of kimi no na wa is original and refreshing. The start is somewhat confusing and hard to grasp however it gets moving soon after. The story is fulfilling and enjoyable and from what i have experienced, cliches are sparse (which is very good as this type of story is normally cliche to the max). Could have been 10/10 if the first 10
...
minutes were abit more normal.
Art- 10
Not much to say, the art is outstanding and honestly one of the best I've ever seen. The movie spends some time to showcase the art and surprisingly it does not hinder the story, as in some animes doing this can somewhat ruin the story.
Sound- 10
Music is fitting and beautiful. OP and ED are good and will probably find their way into my playlist if i can get it. Voice actors are actually brilliant. I liked how they used a child to voice yotsuha. THe voices are very refreshing and sometimes i find that they are relaxing. Background music enhances scenes and brings beauty and elegance to the movie.
Character- 10
This movie is worth about 5 episodes of anime. Yet the character development is better then some 20 episode anime. How they did this in 1 hour and 35ish minutes truly blows me away (I havent watched many anime movies mind you). At about the half way mark i find myself attached to most of the main and side characters in the movie, aswell as hating the character that was meant to be hated (no spoilers :P). Honestly the male MC is one of my favorites to date aswell which is a bonus xD. Characters maketh the anime and the characters are truly something else.
Enjoyment- 10
This anime is a masterpiece and theres seriously no other way to describe it. Its funnny, heart warming, heart breaking, heart wrenching, romantic and 100% enjoyable. My only complaint at this time is that i cant experience what i experienced when i first completed it, as that feeling was seriously something that i really dont feel often.
Overall- 10
Whether you're into romance, mecha, action (ok maybe not so much this), or literally anything else i can assure you that you will enjoy it. Some maybe more then others but you will with out a doubt love it. Seriously I 101% suggest anyone to watch it. Enjoy :P
