I got a really similar and cute vibe from these two anime. Both were extremely amazing and cute and always have you rooting for the main characters. The side characters in both make for great comedy and plot. While I think both are executed in very different ways these two will both give you the same lovey feeling. Not to mention how similar the male mc's are.

Both are cute rom/com and supernatural elements. Naïve girl and protective guy/guys. Kyo like Tomoe was reluctant to live with the girl at first but came to like her. Both girls went through accidents that lead them to live with the guys, their mom passing, and other things. I loved both so If you loved one you will love the other.

Honestly they are so similar and different at the same time. Kagome resembles Lucy some personality and general progression, Inuyasha resembles Natsu by their relationship with partner, strength, and their ignorance/stupidity, Miroku resembles Gray in strength and perverted habits, Sango and Erza and similar in strength but Erza has a different relationship with Gray. Their plots are quite different but they hold so many similarities. Inuyasha's always protecting Kagome like Natsu and Lucy. Kagome and Lucy get kidnapped, a lot.... They are both action, comedy, romance, but Inuyasha has supernatural/demons where Fairy tail is magic.

Tamaki and Kagome both are in relatively similar situation. Both face similar supernatural problems and have to find the power within them as wells fufill their forced duties as a priestess(Kagome) and a spiritual princess(Tamaki) . They are wonderful anime and although Inuyasha is longer Hirro no Kakera has a good plot.
