*This isn't an exceptionally long review but I'm writing it because this movie was interesting enough*

If you enjoy good comedy with a romantic plot then this movie is definitely worth a watch, but not the reason why I think it's so good. The best part about this movie was that the issues it represents are so real and raw. Love not being something you can control despite the placement of it maybe not being the best, the growing pains of a college student and the pressure of their image in public along with the stigma of not dating someone, the fickleness of aging and how ... time is perceived differently by young people and the old.

The main character really stands out because she's essentially a vessel for the viewer. Her personality allows us to delve further into the plot of the movie. She pretty much 'goes with the flow' and it's very refreshing to see this in anime - characters form bonds from the most bizarre and random interactions. Again, her character really highlights how 'real' this movie is. Life is short, just keep moving girl.

The animation is amazing. Reminds me of how studio Shaft did the Monogatari series.

Please watch this movie - it needs more recognition!
