Now this is a gore anime that you should watch!
Summary:
Akari Hizamaru did anything he could to help his sick childhood friend, even participating in an underground cage fight against a wild bear!
The reason behind this is that his friend is dying of a mysterious virus and to take the procedure Akari needs the money. At first it seemed as if he had reached the end of his strength against the animal but this battle reveals that Akari may have some strange abilities.
After he had watched his match he was given some dreadful news of his friend who is beyond help. He met two people part
...
of an organization who intend to send a group to Mars. There had been expeditions to Mars which have all ended in disasters due to mutant cockroaches. There had been suspicions the mutant cockroaches and the virus had some sort of connection.
So the question is:
Why are there giant cockroaches on Mars? And why does Akari have mysterious abilities that make him well-suited to fight these mutants?
I would recommend you to watch the OVA which explains exactly what is happening in this anime, if you go straight to the series you might be a little lost on the aim of the characters and not fully understand some of the characters relation to the enemy.
Overall, I really really REALLY like this anime.
Minus all the gore that is seen in it, the plot is amazing!
As you keep on watching, you keep questioning what is happening and why it's happening.
You end up wanting more and more.
To avoid any spoilers, I would recommend you just watch the OVA first and see if you're interested in the series.
There is currently a second season for this anime and the artwork is superb!
Recommend for people who enjoy gore or for people interested in realistic story lines (so a story line similar to Akame Ga Kill)

Did not expect to watch to the end of the series.....
Summary:
Hibiki Kazaguruma, a sixth grader, meets a little robot named Breakin while coming home from school one day. Breakin is a dancer from an alternate dimension dance world who challenged the dance king for the throne but lost. His dance stones (the stones of dance power) were taken away and sent to the human world. To challenge the dance king again, Breakin must collect the Dance stones scattered on Earth.
So overall, this plot is very simple.
You meet an alien who suddenly appears out of nowhere and help him accomplish whatever mission he has.
The interesting part
...
about this anime would be the villains, especially their backstory.
To be fair, this anime isn't for people who would want a complicated hidden plot or character development.
If you're interested in dance or just love watching funny anime, why not give this anime a try?
It's a bit long and at a certain point you might just want to watch something else but it's a good break for when you want to watch something different!

Romance is in the air in this series!
Short Summary:
Gouda Takeo is a freshman in high school.
Who, however, does NOT look like the average high school student.
He spends his days with his childhood friend, Sunakawa, who is super popular with girls.
However one morning, on the train to school; Takeo saves a girl called Yamato from a molestor.
Could this be a sign of spring beginning for Takeo?
Let me just say; this anime is full on romance. All those people into romance comedy; come on board and watch this series, you will defiantly enjoy it.
...
I, myself am a big romance comedy fan.
And I can proudly say that I defiantly enjoyed this series.
As soon as you think it's suppose to end, another thing just pops up and extends the story even further (the usual events in an average romance anime series)
Since it was following that pattern, the storyline was somewhat predictable.
BUT
when you see Gouda Takeo, the anime becomes super interesting.
Cause it just completely destroys the normal pattern for a normal romance anime.
Overall, if you want to see some unique romance comedy series or you're just tired of the usual romance comedy pattern; watch this series!

Let me say this first, if you like comedy then watch this.
This is literally full of comedy
Short Summary:
Umaru is a 16 year old girl who lives with her older brother Taihei
She is seen as a perfect girl; kind heart, intelligent, altheltic and popular.
But would you think that Umaru acts the same at home?
She is either sleeping, gaming, watching TV, eating junk food or drinking cola.
Leaving all the housework to her brother.
Taihei is always surprised by Umaru's gap between her social life and home life, but how can he hate his sister?
...
So where to start?
The plot for this anime is simple; just a view of Umaru's daily lifestyle.
But what makes this anime so addicting?
It's the COMEDY!
I've lost count of how many times I've laughed while watching this anime!
I've literally watched this anime at least four or five times; I just can't get enough of the comedy!
I mean, yes at times the way Umaru handles the situations in the anime leaves me speechless but nonetheless the comedy always made me forget about it!
If you enjoy watching funny anime series this anime is the one!

Wait what?
Why is Japan doing this to the viewers?
Why must we witness cliff hangers??
Short Summary:
Humanity was driven off the land by the threat of magical armored insects, now humanity live in aerial floating cities.
Hence wizards; aerial combat mages who fight the insects with magical powers came to be.
Age Kanata is a young man who lives at the wizard academy city of "Misutogan". He is known as the "Blacke Master Swordsman" and the elite ace of the S128 special team, however he is now despised as the "traitor of the special team".
One day, he is assigned as the instructor of E601, a team who has suffered
...
ten consecutive defeats.
The three girls in this team are: Whitale Misora, Eisenach Lecty, and Flamel Rico; each with one or two peculiar behavior habits.
Gosh, that summary explained literally EVERYTHING about this anime.
Basically humankind was driven off the land and thus came in the use of wizards. The prodigy; Kanata is branded as a traitor before the anime started and he is placed as an instructor to the weakest team at the academy.
First of all, the reason behind why Kanata is known as a traitor is not specifically known until later on in the series (even then it might be a bit confusing but there are hints in the anime) but even then there are no specific explanations, only theories.
The thing I didn't like was the ending.
It just stopped out of nowhere and I'm wondering if there are plans for a second season; if there is then the ending is appropriate but still a little disappointing.
Hopefully there is a second season which goes into more depth about Kanata.
Other than that the series is enjoyable and I would recommend it to people who like fantasy I guess. Even for fantasy lovers I think this anime will be hard to finish cause the story is somewhat lacking and I don't even want to start with an ending.
Hopefully my questions will be answered in the OVA that is too be released.

And a end to another good slice of life anime series...
I will miss this one
Short Summary:
At Asahioka Branch School (in the countryside), there are only five students there; none of them in the the same grade. The story follows the daily lives of the four girls of the school; playing in rivers, having secret bases and many more.
The pace is easygoing but it's enjoyable and heartwarming.
This anime is a sequel to the first season "Non Non Biyori" and like the first season, this season was enjoyable!
There is no specific story (as this is a slice of life) yet it is fun to watch.
I was actually
...
surprised when I heard that this series was getting a second season (I mean there's no solid plot) but I was glad to see it again.
If you enjoy slice of life series or enjoyed the first season of the anime then watch it!
You can even start from this season and go back to the first season! It's the heartwarming comedy that drags you into this anime

Well then.... Second season maybe?
Short Summary:
Tachibana Hotaru is a high school student who is mistaken as a boy when in fact she is a girl.
Through strange circumstances she finds herself in the world of survival by a host, Matsuoka Masamune. They form a team with a ero-manga artist Yukimura Tooru and aim to be the best in Japan.
So to start off:
Japan are you getting in that trend for survival games?
There has been a few survival game animes lately; not that I don't like it but is it a trend in Japan now??
The story was so-so because so far I've seen two similar animes where
...
one gets super dark later on and the other is just comedy based.
This on the other hand is like a mixture of both; just slightly.
The story follows the world of survival games and how it came into Hotaru's life.
The characters kind of annoy me in the sense that they are not really honest with themselves...
It's interesting to see how the meaning of a word changes depending on a person and how different it can be from it's original meaning. This is the case with Hotaru and her sense of justice (Pretty much Seryu from Akame ga Kill)
It's not a bad series to watch, I enjoyed watching it and I can see that there will be a second season (Thank god).

BHAHAHAHAHA, what did I just finish watching?
I can't believe someone had thought of an anime like this!
Short Summary:
Japan now has a law against everything and anything considered indecent; magazines, games. Literally CONSIDERED indecent, you name it. However due to this it created terrorists groups that go against these laws. One of these groups called SOX is a terrorist group that tries to reeducate the citizens again in the ways of eros.
First of all, this plot is insane!
I mean what?? Law against everything considered indecent?? What even man!
It doesn't stop there. The anime itself has some pretty insane scenes and A LOT of dirty jokes that
...
are censored for many reasons.
It's amazing this series was able to pass as a proper anime series, not that I'm against it but damn!
The scenes in the series are super indecent at times...
I guess there is a specific story line but as you can guess it's mainly about the comedy in this anime which literally made me laugh out loud!
The ending left me speechless... I actually really don't know what to say about it....
Did I enjoy this series?
OF COURSE I DID! This was that ONE anime series that you would watch for the humor!
And I would totally recommend it but you would need one heck of a dirty mind to understand ALL of the jokes cause for sure I only got a few jokes.

What is with Japan and food orgasms?
Is this just the beginning?
Short Summary:
Yukihira Souma's dream is to takeover his father's restaurant and surpass his culinary skills. But just as Yukihira graduates from middle school his father, Yukira Houichirou, closes down the restaurant to cook in Europe.
Although Souma is conflicted with his father's decision, his fighting spirit is lit by a challenge from Jouichirou which is to survive in an elite culinary school where only 10% of the students graduate.
Can Souma survive?
Well......
I can say one thing for sure; Japan is having a small trend with food orgasms in anime series.
...
I mean apart from the orgasms, the show is decent.
We get to know about cool random tips for cooking certain foods.
And the plot is honestly not that bad. Even though the orgasms are somewhat unnecessary I keep coming back for more and now I can't wait for the second season!
If you enjoy cooking anime series then this is the series for you!
Mind you there are lots of food orgasm scenes which maybe somewhat disturbing but the series in general is fun to watch

Now this series was very VERY interesting to watch.
Thanks to the series I now have a new acronym I use now.
Short Summary:
Kagami Junichirou was known as a physics genius when has was a teenager, even being published in "Nature".
However after college, he suddenly lost all interest in science and became a NEET. He devoted himself to his anime blog and collecting merchandises.
As somewhat of an excuse he claims to have a serious illness called "YD" which stands for "Yearn to Do" meaning that he can't do anything he doesn't want to do.
Worried about her brother's future, her little sister manages to get him a
...
job teaching physics at his old high school.
He's not an enthusiastic teacher but he becomes somewhat popular with the students. After helping a girl who's being bullied, Kagami finds that he actually likes teaching.
Will he continue teaching? Will he go back to physics? or will he return to being a NEET?
This anime was fun to watch!
There was a lot of hilarious scenes in the show and each character that appeared had a unique personality; with nicknames made by Kagami which describes the characters perfectly.
In the end each lesson in the series is related to each other and leads to Kagami's ultimate decision in the final episode.
If you like comedy then watch this anime!
It's full of laughs and is interesting is watch!
