These series are both fundamentally school-centric slice-of-life anime with a primary selling point being cute girls being cute and amusing. Both series also have the distinction of having some themes of romantic interest between their core cute girls, but it is to be noted that Yuru Yuri is to the point of Shoujo Ai, whereas Kiniro Mosaic has not achieved that status.

Both these series are built around a male MC with exceptional, if not godlike, fantasy powers fighting off various enemies in their respective story arcs.
