Make no mistake, this is an adaptation for Fate fans only. If you're new to the series or only mildly invested, this conclusion (or the trilogy as a whole) may not be satisfying or easy to understand.
However, the dark themes explored are fantastic and a huge step up from Fate Stay Night UBW in terms of maturity.
The action scenes are a real treat as its animations are absolutely breathtaking and unparalleled to this very day, and I don't expect it to be topped any time soon by any other studio. Combine that with its incredible music, you will enjoy one of the best fight scenes

Want a more mature anime with a non-typical protagonist? This is it.
And it's not just the protagonist. Every character in this anime is unique, has their own personality, and even all go through their individual character arcs to arrive at a satisfying conclusion, and that does not mean they all become perfect good guys. Not at all. Animation is great for its time, as one can expect from ufotable. Action scenes are superbly done.
