POSSIBLE MINOR SPOILERS!!
Yashahime was a HUGE disappointment for me. I don't understand why the characters behave the way they do, many Inuyasha characters have been replaced with other hollow ones (like Takechiyo replaced Shippo -I mean, come on! They even use the same powers-) and the "bad" guys are just a joke, you can't even take them seriously. Just finished watching this ONA.
My overall impression was good, however, there were a few things that bothered me... WARNING! Minor Spoilers! I'll start by saying that it is really nice to watch our favorite Class 1-A Heroes back in action, if only we could see them all... What I LOVED MOST was that the overall atmosphere reminded me of Alice in Wonderland in its darker version (more specifically, Alice Madness Returns) as well as the Escape Room games. I found that was completely unique and highly entertaining. If I had to note something less satisfactory that would might be the character development which by all means was okay, if someone considers the fact that the series consists of only 16 ... |
