This hentai anime is based off an H-Game by the same name. Let's get this out of the way: the squeamish or faint of heart should avoid the franchise entirely.
The anime tramples on the game's story and presents and incoherent and incomprehensible mess in its place. However, if you just want to get off to some brutal hentai action and couldn't care less about the story, then you're better off watching the anime than playing the game. If you care about story at all, however, you should not watch this anime... it will only leave you confused and frustrated.
If you're actually curious

The story is really good, but very dark, to the point where not everyone will be able to stomach it. The plot progression is true to the world design and the character design, however the viewer is often left to connect the dots themselves rather than being hand-held through each detail, and if you're not prepared to actually put some effort into thinking through why events progress in the way they do, it's very easy to come away with the impression that some actions or events simply don't make sense... and this is more the case with the anime than with the manga, naturally.

When I first started watching this series, I really enjoyed it... so much so that I couldn't wait a week for the next episode and binged the light novels. And the light novels are pretty good... they'd easily make my list of the top 20 light novel series I'm waiting to continue.
Now, it's very rare for an anime to fully express the greatness of a light novel series it's based on, and legitimately so, as the production process is much more expensive for anime... but some of the creative licenses taken with this story, and especially some of the characters' decisions, are just face-palm ... No Game No Life: Zero

No Game No Life is one of the 3 anime that inspired me to create a Bookwalker account and start reading light novels, so I went into this movie having read all the English translation to the novel it's based on. And from that perspective, the movie felt really rushed. It's faithful to the original story, and has the same quality artwork that helped me fall in love with the anime series, but there are just so many endearing character interactions and world-building events that just didn't make it into the movie at all. I still enjoyed the viewing experience, but it

As fans of the anime should expect, this series is in no way serious. It's goofy, campy, and at times completely off-the-wall. But, precisely because of that, it's perfect for when you're just in the mood for something light-hearted and fun. These novels contain content skipped by the anime, and content that proceeds beyond the end of the anime, so it's a good read even for people who've already watched all the episodes. Readers looking for any kind of insightful storytelling would be well advised to look elsewhere, however... this series is the literary equivalent of junk food... delicious, delicious, junk

This is one of the rare anime that's actually better than the manga it's adapted from. It's faithful to the original story, but much better paced. I read the manga first, and really enjoyed most of it, though I grew quite frustrated with the pacing after a while, but this anime corrects that problem expertly while retaining everything that makes the story so enthralling. The production quality is quite good, as well. The information is presented in a way that's both exciting to watch and easy to follow. If the premise of this series appeals to you at all, or

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

This series is one of two adaptations of a popular manga, and the second to be released. Of the two, it is by far the more faithful to the original story, and therefore is the one I would recommend to people who want to watch one of these anime adaptations. However, and quite disappointingly, it also has much lower production value than the first series. Full disclosure, I watched the original adaptation first, and so I couldn't help but compare this one to it while watching it, and that unavoidably made the experience less enjoyable for me. Compared to the smooth
