Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii

Manga plays a huge part in both of these. While Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun is in a school enviornment, Wotakoi is in a workplace. However, as both are romance, the characters in both animes bond over manga, and from there, their relationships grow. Both are a good watch and very entertaining if romance and comedy is your thing.

Tsurune: Kazemai Koukou Kyuudou-bu

They both focus on a relatively large group of friends and sports. Tsurune is a lot more slice of life-y and relaxing to watch, but similar to Free! in the way that friendship plays a huge part in the plot. The difference is that while Free! is a swimming anime, Tsurune focuses on Kyudo.

Shinchou Yuusha: Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tueee Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru

If you've seen any kind of anime with an OP mc, Shinchou Yuusha will make fun of it. In this magical world that is Shinchou Yuusha, the mc is massively overpowered, but he takes everything with such caution that it makes it hillarious.

Gakkougurashi!

Both of these school-themed animes are twisted in their own ways. However, the similarity is that while in the start, they both seem innocent, after a while (School Days takes a bit longer) it all starts to go downhill and you see the dark, hidden meaning. If you like cute mixed with horror, these two are for you.

Domestic na Kanojo

This recommendation goes both ways - if you liked one of them, you should see the other. The similarities in these are that a teacher-student relationship is in focus, and the school society is where the plot lies. Kuzu no Honkai is a lot more ecchi and lewd, while Domastic na Kanojo is more emotional, but as already mentioned, if the frowned upon teacher-student relationship is what you're looking for, I recommend these two.

Banana Fish

Banana Fish is not a shounen-ai, but Hitorijime My Hero is. They both include gang-society into their plots, but the relationship between the two main characters is in focus. Since Hitorijime My Hero is both a shounen-ai and a lot more "friendly", you get more fluff and cutesy stuff than in Banana Fish.

Given

While Given is clearly superior in my opinion, Gravitation gives off a lot of the same vibes for me. They both have a plot filled with music, and of course, the fluff-filled shounen-ai you're looking for ;) Given focuses on four characters, but as Gravitation mainy focuses on two, it feels like the story spans over a longer period of time.

Dakaretai Otoko 1-i ni Odosarete Imasu.

Both of these shounen-ai are centered around the celebrity world and the relationships formed within. While in Love Stage!!, we see Izumi's road to fame, in DakaIchi, we see the two protagonists fight for the title of "most huggable". Both have a lot of smutty scenes ;)

Ousama Game The Animation

Personally, I didn't care too much for Ousama Game. However, these two animes are similar in horror, and the amount of gore they have. Another has more of a developed plot and mystery, while Ousama Game is more of a fetish fulfiller. I'd recommend this for those who are into gore and horror over plot.
