What could be the consequences from a child game ? What could be created by the imagination of children which are craving for adventures.20 Century Boys is a kind of manga which is shining with it's own brilliance and marvelous idea.Created from Naoki Urasawa it really absorbs every reader with it's story.Again the mangaka show us his unique story telling and proves that he is like a "prodigy" in the manga world. He shows us that every memory we have during our years of living is very precious and remembering it we feel like we at the same place where we were as children, when
...
we were playing with friends, fighting with each other, laughed and most importantly we spent our careless days during our childhood.
The Story of the manga isn't something new,but really it's something special even it the 21 century ;) It's about Kenji and a group of his friends which create their own "shelter" in which they go when they feel anxious or have their own problems. They have a lot of fights with other children, but there they feel protected from everything doesn't matter what is it.While Kenji is there with his friends they are talking to each other a lot and are thinking a lot of stories which they write in a notebook.Even at that time when they are together they don't know that every their action will really change their live sooner or later.Every their word, action or decision really changes their lives. At the beginning of the manga the story is based on Kenji who is has a lot of work and he is having a hard live. His sister gives a birth to a child and leaves. So Kenji have to take care of his niece and turn her into a good person ,who will have a normal life. While struggling with his position in life he notices a number of events that remind him of his childhood and not after a while he gets involved in a great adventure with a lot of plot twists.
The art of the manga is fantastic. It's the well known style of the manga artist. The characters are drawn simply, but in the same time they are very detailed. The artwork is really on a very high level and not even for a moment there is something even at the background that is drawn bad.Really the consistency of the art is breathtaking. The main characters aren't made with gigantic breasts or big muscles, but after a few chapters you couldn't see them drawn in another way they are so well chosen and well based.
The Characters is making one of the differences with the other mangas in the same genre.Their character development is despite their role in the story isn't slowed up even for a moment in the whole manga. At first glance the main characters don't have the superpowers which could help them with their fight with the "evil",but their have something even better - Charisma.Kenji is one of the best leading characters in the mangas, but he is not the best in the manga the thing that really catches the eyes is the Kanna character. She is one of the most complete woman/girl characters in the whole manga history. She isn't made the kind of girl that could not live without help from somewhere. She is strong and in the same time she's having the brain. She isn't doing something stupid without thinking.Every her action is very well thought before that.
20 century boys is really something you should really have to read.Despite that the volumes are 22 you wouldn't feel for a minute how you are reading chapter after chapter just to understand what is going to happen at the end.

Kizu or Wounds as it's know with it's 4 chapters would really touch something in you. It's a great peace of work despite it's size.
Story : The story is about a special class in which all the troubled kids are grouped. The main character Keigo has suffered a lot through his life and after a fight with another school boy who was bullying him he is sent to this class. There he meets a strange boy called Asato. At the beginning he could not understand him why Asato is so quiet and why he is always standing aside from the others. But after one day when Keigo cuts his arm
...
and Asato uses his so called "power" to heal the wounds of other the story beggins.I won't spoil you more,so that you could really enjoy reading it.
Art: I really liked the art,I liked the character design, almost everything is well drown and really is beautiful. You won't be disappointed from the art at all.The main characters are great drawn, the little details are also drawn with a lot of work.
Character: I could say that there are characters, but the story is resolving only between Asato and Keigo.Their characters are deep especially Asato's.Their are well developed even for the one volume that the manga is.
Enjoyment: I really enjoyed that manga,I could even say that I have loved it.It's filled with a lot of feelings and really is a Must Read for the people that like it's genre.I felt really satisfied after reading it and I hope you will be too.
Overall: When you have free time try to read this manga. It won't take a lot of time and in the same moment it won't disappoint you. It's really beautiful in every part of it.

"Adolf" is another great work of Osamu Tezuka or so called the "God of manga".I could say this work is really a hidden gem.
Story: The manga is telling the story of three men called Adolf. It's following their lifes and shows how they change as a human beings through the years - psychologically and psysically. The story ,doesn't sound like something "new" or "original",but really once you start reading the manga you could not possibly leave it until you understand what happens. The story develops before and during the period of Hitler's ruling of Germany. So everything is resolving and starts from his character. He changes the lives of
...
the main characters even with his existence.Every character in a different way,as you could see later in the manga. The story may seem a little slow at times ,but sooner after that you understand why the mangaka meant by slowing it down.
Art: The art is old,but as we can see the year of the releаsement of the series,we could not expect much more. The art won't bother you,it may be bad at times, but as you follow the story you would not even notice it.If you are all about the art you may not like it,but it's your decision.
The characters: This is probably the best part of the so called manga "Adolf".The characters even the minor one's develop through the whole story. We see that people who have totally different opinion, change their mind and actions under the influence of people and their surroundings. Some become cruel, some keep following their dreams through their whole life, some are brave even facing the death.Definitely you won't be disappointed by this part of the manga.
Enjoyment: I really enjoyed this manga and I hope you will too.Maybe you won't enjoy it if you have different opinion from the mangaka for Hitler and the Second World war at all.Tezuka is showing his thoughts of the Hitler's character and they could offend some people.
Overall the manga is really interesting and you won't be disappointed if you read it.It's one of the good Tezuka reads.I recommend it to you,I enjoyed it a lot and I didn't felt like I have wasted my time.

To start from the beginning the movie is not a continuation of the series and the story is pretty much different.
Story: The producers changed the plot so they could introduce us this movie. The story is not bad,but it's not as good as the series. At the first 30 minutes of the movie the story is too rushed up and people who haven't seen the previous series will be pretty much confused.
Art: The art improved and for good. The character design is the same but there are a lot of details that are well drown in the surroundings.I liked the art it was still that great.A lot of
...
the scenes were very well rendered and that shows that a lot of time was thrown on the art.So yo won't be disappointed from it.
Sound: Well the sound was good. It's not the best out there but it won't bother you while you are watching the movie. The character voices are still good and lively.
Character: This is what I like the most from the movie. The kids that Eureka took care for are gone(at least we see them only for one scene) and that changes a lot of things.Eureka is not worried about them all the time and that way her character improved a lot and thank to God for good. She is not that strange in her reactions like in the series, but maybe in that way we lost a little good piece of her interesting character. Also she realizes Renton's love very early, which in a way makes the people who have watched the series delighted and disappointed, because the plot suffers a lot from that fact.Other thing that is changed is the personality of Hap.Now he turned into bad ass.So to sum up leaving the kids in the background of the story had it's good and bad things. The level of their annoying presence is decreased, but again the plot suffers, because of that.
Enjoyment: Well if you enjoyed the series you will enjoy the movie. It is just more of the same characters. They were a little things that are not very well thought at the movie, but they won't spoil your fun.
Overall the movie is not bad.I expected more, but maybe you will like it.
