Science SARU oh how can I thank you enough...
Dandadan has got to be my favorite anime this season, Momo and Okarun's interaction and chemistry have been a breath of fresh air especially in shonen. Not a single episode went by without me smiling from ear to ear looking at this stupid duo's shenanigans and banter. I especially got to give my thanks to the editor of the manga for making the writer Yukinobu Tatsu read several shoujo manga before writing this absolutely amazing show.
Every episode went by like a breeze, each episode felt like an instant. Dandadan revived my love for shonen, It lit up
...
something deep within that I had long forgotten. Despite being a battle shonen I actually enjoyed the character moments instead of the fights, don't get me wrong, its not as if the fights are bad but they're just overshadowed with the incredibly lovable casts of characters and their moments. I love Momo, I love Okarun, I love Aira and despite being annoyed by Jiji at first I came to liking him even more.
The art and animation in this show is incredible, gotta give praise when praise is due. They did an amazing job at adapting this show, despite several minor errors in layering everything else have been spectacular. The animation is consistent and the voice acting is top notch. The OP and soundtrack is an absolute banger, especially the use of the very familiar classical music in some of its fight scenes, it enchances the scenes soo much making it a greater experience to watch.
Episode 7... I need to give this episode its own paragraph simply because of its impact to me. This episode is breathtaking. I have never seen a backstory executed to this level of perfection. The directing, the screenplay, the music... they're captivating and they're beautiful... The directing is simply incredible, I've seen how different things are handled in the anime compared to the manga and I can safely say that the anime took it to a whole nother level. The beauty of this episode is unmatched, how they managed to grip my heart and absolutely crush it by the end of the episode. It has been a while since I've sat there in silence looking at a blank screen empy in mind still trying to process the things that I have witnessed in this so called goofy and funny show.
Dandadan will become a modern masterpiece there's no doubt about it, I put my faith in Science SARU that they will adapt the entirety of the manga and will continue to produce such quality projects in the future.

Knowing that this show is written by THE Naoki Urasawa, I had no doubt in my mind that this is going to be good.
I'd say that Pluto is a mix between Monster and 20th Century Boys, it has the murder mystery of Monster has and also the sci fi elements of 20th Century Boys but the mystery isn't as deep as Monster and the conspiracy behind everything isn't as crazy as 20th Century Boys. Its mostly because Pluto is a much shorter story than both of them, being only 8 1 hour episodes or a 20 24 minute show.
Despite the length being not that long
...
I'd say Pluto did a very good job at telling a story, though I'd say that sometimes things aren't explained well enough and us as the viewers must think of a reason ourselves that align with the story. This might or might not be intentional but some things especially in the later parts of the show aren't explained well enough. I don't know how different things are compared to the manga but I think the anime could do better at explaining or showing things.
Pluto has a very decent cast of characters, most of them has a role in the show and is used well but even so, none of the characters really stuck to me especially with the amount of characters this 8 episode anime has and developing each and every one of them is quite an impossible task. Despite that the show is still very emotional and I found myself teary eyed when viewing the stories of some of its characters.
The mystery itself is pretty good and engaging, its enough to make me look forward to the next episode and I sometimes got to engrossed in speculating and playing detective. Its fun to put into place the small pieces of clues that is slowly revealed throughout the show until the final picture is painted, the exciting process of understanding the full story little by little is what makes Urasawa's works entertaining to watch.
Pluto has an amazing production quality, the animation is fluid and consistent, pair that with Urasawa's art style and you'd have a very pleasing to look at anime, the voice acting, soundtrack is good although nothing ground breaking.
This show is a solid 7 which is a good in my book, it's an entertaining watch but nothing too special. Would definitely recommend

well... this was an experience like no other...
Though as you can see I set this review as recommended but that's not because this show is anything amazing nor mind blowing. I think that for a 4 episode long anime this is a pretty unique experience that most anime fan should try to experience at least once.
Anime as a medium isn't fit for horror, as animation especially in anime artstyle is pretty bad at showing fear or disturbing imagery so I guess I could appreciate Uzumaki for trying to make up for it by making the artstyle and coloring similar to that of a manga,
...
but did it work? Well kinda... The artstyle manages to enhance the creepy eerie feeling that probably wouldn't exists if it was colored like a normal anime, but even then it is still quite lacking.
And now lets talk about the story. I genuinely don't know whether to praise nor criticize the story, because its incredibly... weird? or maybe its better to call it unique? The story is simply so stupid and kinda goofy but the atmosphere and the characters are made in a way to kinda trick us into thinking that its creepy and serious but if you just stop for a sec and think, you would realize that the story and the events that happens are just dumb and so random.
We all have definitely heard of the decrease in animation quality after the first episode and for a lot of people its a huge letdown, but I feel like it doesn't really matter whether the animation stayed consistent or not because its not like the animation could carry the stupidity and goofyness of the show.
The only reason I put this as recommended is simply because of "why not", its only 4 episodes anyways its not like its gonna hurt to try.

Amidst the pretty disappointing new anime this season has to offer, the gods of anime has finally blessed us with the existence of a new monogatari season, never had I ever thought of watching monogatari series weekly and thus this has been a new and fun experience for me to discuss the new episodes each week together with the monogatari community.
This season is simply incredible, it has been 5 years since the last monogatari season and they did not disappoint. This season although isn't finished yet at the time this review is written but I can say confidently that this is one of the best
...
monogatari season that has been adapted.
All the 3 arcs that has been adapted so far is simply cinema, shaft once again showed us what amazing art directing is, although not as avant garde as bakemonogatari nor kizumonogatari with real life objects or real people being showed a lot but this season still managed to show what monogatari is about, the unique minimalistic background, weird angle shots, neck tilting, flashes of colored scene, and amazing character writing.
Tsukihi undo is a great choice to start the season as it is a short arc and with the sassy and expressive yet unexpressive ononoki as the narrator, it was nothing but fun and exicitement as this is the first episode of the long awaited monogatari series off and monster season
Nadeko draw has proven once again how monogatari is the goat in character writing, the development shown in this season is incredible, after witnessing the chaos and uncertainty of nadeko's character, we are then shown in this arc basically the conclusion of her character as she had grown into a much more independent and mature person as she face her own future with her own hands
Acerola bon apetit made me speechless, there are no words known inside my vocabulary that I can use to properly convey how amazing the directing, story telling and execution of this arc is. episodes flew by past me, I didn't realise that the episode has ended and was left there speechless as I was captivated with how the scenes was played, how the atmosphere was created and whilst everything was encapsulated with such a jawdropping amazing soundtrack.
This season is everything I wanted in monogatari, and knowing that there are still a lot of monogatari arcs that are yet to be animated put a smile on my face as I could wake up the next day to think that hey... theres something worth waiting for.

The greatest anime movie that I have ever laid my eyes upon.
such an incredibly directed anime movie with amazing story and execution, this movie genuinely blew my mind with it's story and execution. This movie was able to make my eyes glued to the screen confused and uneasy as I wondered what was going to happen next and who was behind all this mystery. The art directing with how the scenes and shots are taken made the show infinitely more entertaining and jaw dropping. All these aspects combined will definitely create such a masterpiece that is Perfect Blue. This is the first time I actually
...
stopped and clapped after watching this movie in awe.
Characters 9/10
The characters in this show is amazingly done, every character are given a role in the show that is important to the development of the story and because of that there isn't any unimportant characters, the development of the main character is also well done, the way they perfectly show the fall into madness and mental instability the main character had was incredible and realistically scary.
Story and execution 10/10
The story and the plot twists in this show is mind blowing, the show genuinely made my jaw drop with how the story is perfectly crafted and told within such a limited time of 80 minutes. The way they made the story actually thrilling and scary will definitely make anyone watching eagerly wait in anxiety on what will happen next. The ending of the show is also super satisfying and left no regret after watching.
Art 10/10
The animation is one thing to praise but the scenes and shots are so unique and so creative a lot of the times, they made me feel like whoever are behind this project are definitely a talented genius because of how captivating the scenes are in this show.
Overall this show for me is a 9/10, the only reason I didn't give this show a 10/10 is because of a simple reason, I felt like the show is way too disturbing sometimes especially with some scenes going on waaay longer than it should've been and because this is a movie, such a small thing can really effect the rest of the watching experience.

This anime tried to do a lot of things yet ended up being a mash of confusion and mediocrity, I felt like this anime has a lot of potential to not only be deep in message and metaphors but also in terms of entertainment and enjoyability.
My main complaint about this show is how a lot of things are confusing and is lacking in build up, the first few episodes felt similar to Violet Evergarden in which the mc meets new people in new places and we as the viewer can see the stories of the new people that our mc meets for the first
...
time, but compared to Violet Evergarden, the side characters in Kaiba is lacking in build up and felt kinda like a tumbleweed passing by without any significance to the story.
The second half of the show is where the plot started to thicken as we learned who our mc is and how did he end up in this situation in the first place, and this part felt very similar to evangelion in terms of confusion and also how they talk about becoming one or something just like the human instrumentality project. The second half for me is definitely the more enjoyable part of the show as it really digs deep to the history of some of the characters, but once again the character development is lacking as many motives are suddenly introduced to each character and we weren't given any chances to feel a sort of connection to each characters that made my viewing experience not so enjoyable as each character backstory felt like it was flat and sudden. one example is like how our mc Warp is supposedly lonely and traumatized because his mother tried to poison him, or there suddenly appeared a child warp that controlls everything in the end and I still don't understand what the kaiba plant was supposed to represent, so yeah everything felt like a cluster of random things put into eachother, if only they made the characters interesting and actually gave the viewers time to get attached to each character maybe I would enjoy this show as much as I enjoyed Evangelion.
Overall this show for me is a 6/10 which is still above average because I did enjoy some aspect of the show and the show isn't as boring as I though it would be, some aspect could be improvised but I did not regret watching this show.

This is one of the best shows this season up there with frieren, this show is very engaging and is simply just enjoyable to watch
First of all lets talk about my favorite part of this show, the MC. Before watching this show in my very ignorant mind I thought that this was some kind of shojo with very cute acting mc and how every guy in the palace likes her (this is not a bad thing but just not my cup of tea), but I started watching it since I was curious on how it has such a high rating and I was not dissapointed.
The
...
MC is such a good character with how she seems so sassy and callous but in reality she is very expressive and enthusiastic about her hobby and is actually very sensitive to other's feelings and conditions although she could be quite dense sometimes. And I also absolutely love her internal monologue and way of thinking since it adds a lot to the scene and her character
The other character in the show is also nicely written, there are a lot of likeable characters and their interactions with one another is also very fun to watch
The animation to this show is phenomenal there's not much to say
The story is engaging, the show is quite slice of lifey with how different episode has different things the mc has to do mixed with very little romance and quite a lot of mystery aspect to it
In concusion, I give this show a 9/10, thought to little of this show before watching it but was surpised at how good it was when I started watching it

This show is incredibly good, not that it has very good story nor characters but it's just an insanely fun and wholesome anime.
There's really not much to say about this anime other than it's really good, I enjoyed every second of this show from start to finish. Honestly I'm not a ghibli fan nor do I hate ghibli, for the most part I just thought of ghibli films as good or fine and nothing special. But somehow this show manages to change that mindset.
This is a very short review, I wrote this review just because I want to tell people how much I enjoyed this
...
show.
In concusion, this show is a 9/10 because of how feel good, chill and fitting this show is after a day of hard work.

you see, people tend to overthink stuff especially at enjoying anime. The purpose of this anime isn't about being good, but to be the most generic power fantasy out there and there's nothing wrong with that, I bet the author knows this too.
Like I said the show is incrediby generic but that's what makes it good, it's like instant ramen on how its cheap and instant similar to how this type of show is mass produced and quite enjoyable at the get-go and similar to how you wouldn't expect some instant noodle to be gourmet you wouldn't expect some insane world building nor intricate character
...
writing and plot to this kind of show
So in the end of the day all this anime has to offer is some generic fun simple story to pass time, its quite satisfying to not think to much while watching anime and I just appreciate how this show doesn't try to be good or unique like alot of other generic shows that tried to be unique but forgot the very essence of this type of show is just to be generic and to not try to hard to be good
In concusion I give this show a 6/10 just because I love me my generic shows, If you want a thought provoking show then don't watch this but if you want some instant fun then this show is for you

This is the review of the entire series, and to say it quite frankly this series is peak fiction.
This is a story about monsters, oddities, abberrations or whatever your subtitle calls it. Our mc Araragi Koyomi is a quasi vampire, he became that because of an encounter with a vampire in the past and since then he met quite a lot of people with similar supernatural problem as he did, and thus this is a story of him helping the people around him with supernatural problems.
I loved every single aspect of this show from its absurd fan services, weird camera angles, obscure background, flashing texts
...
and very stupid dialogues between characters. The very lovable casts of characters that you can't help but smile at anything that they do whether it's important to the plot or some random banter that they have.
The monogatari series is truly an experience like no other, every rewatch gives you more insight to the show and it feels like watching it for the first time again, every character is written beautifully to the point in which it feels like you know each character personally as everything about the character such as their personality, past, current problem and future goals are all explained and shown in the show.
The entire series deserves a solid 10/10 from me, no other piece of media has given me this kind of experience
