Alright, I actually wanted to write a not too long review as I'm not really good at that but at least I wanna say things that maybe people will read an maybe take that in mind if they gonna watch it or already have.
Starting with that I personally first didn't thought I'm gonna like Charlotte as I was thinking first it's gonna be something similar to Plastic Memories, no offense to people who did like but I thought it failed with the advantages it has as a original work and where the story went was just not really the best choice in my eyes.
...
I thought the setting was real interesting but they went and focused on something entirely different. And just the most annoying thing is that they not really made an ending. As I heard some of my friend saying the wanted to read the manga to know what is going to happen further but heeey surprise, manga doesn't exist!
From now I will just go of the row so I'm sorry for the long intro and my rambling about Plastic Memories>x<
The story is not something super stunning but as an original work I personally thought it was quite good and enjoyable, it may have given the part of the last three episode some more time instead of the arc of episode 2-8.
The art, same as sound was good not special in my eyes but well done and imouto-san kawaii, though the opening gives more the vibes of only the first arc.
The characters, I did really like them, the main character, Yuu Otosaka has nice development from ego-I'm so awesome to precious confused potato. I really liked the two moments where he kinda lost his sanity but that Nao Tomori saved him. I really liked the voice acting in those parts.
My enjoyment is an 10 because I twice watched it, first the first ten episodes and then the rest, I thought it was really enjoyable personally and couldn't stop watching what I lately didn't have with other anime's.
My overall is a nine because it is not the best series for me, it has some flaws but the best part I like about it is that it has a complete story and what I think is what I miss with so much anime lately. With adapted anime you can of course read the manga or novel, but I think that anime should be able to stand on it own and not rely on the origin.
So I hope you can agree with me and good job P.A. Studio for thinking up an enjoyable show.
