Preliminary (13/13 eps)
The storyline of the anime is average. There are no noteworthy highs or lows.
Personally, I find it an affront to compare this anime with ‘Eminence in Shadow’.

Every single member of ‘Grieving Soul’ is a God-loved prodigy. The fact that such a party achieves extraordinary things is ‘normal’ in this respect.

The role of Andray Krai is incomprehensible. All his self-talk, which is basically the ‘truth’, makes him a person of incomprehensible luck. He could touch shit and at that moment it would mutate into a gold bar.

Everyone around him believes so strongly in meaning and purpose that they will search until they have confirmation. ...

There are many points that go against the grain. The drawing style takes more than a little getting used to. The clear, striking lines and lovingly crafted characters have had to give way to ‘trivialisation’. Everything is drawn more colourfully and softly than is good for the story.

The characters' propotions are also not in keeping with season 1. There are features and exuberant design elements such as Tahara Isami's oversized pistols and the inappropriately small upper body.

The dialogues are also kindergarten level. The ‘woke influence’ has clearly taken hold here and deformed a good story into this ugly mix of bullshit.

Personal opinion: They shouldn't ...

The anime's storyline is very flat. We have a hero here who would rather not be one. - But that doesn't necessarily mean anything. There are many good anime where you involuntarily become a hero.

The many negative reviews are incomprehensible. You have to ask yourself the question, ‘Why are you even watching an isekai?’ - I think you should turn your attention to another genre that suits you better.

You can clearly see that the target audience here is teenagers aged 10-16. If you don't belong to this target group, you won't like the anime. - Many anime are currently being made that are explicitly for ...

The anime's target audience is probably children who have reached puberty. For me, the storyline is just badly written. It has a lot of logical errors and doesn't really score well in other ways either.

No tension was built up and I didn't really feel like following the story. I struggled from one episode to the next.

The plots are very superficial, the characters are shallow and the arguments end just as quickly as they started. When I think about it again, nothing really worked.

Pointless story, pointless actions, irrelevant fights where you just knock out the "boss" and a weird story that doesn't really provide any answers ...

A basically interesting storyline that is poorly executed.

The anime begins by not explaining to the viewer what actually happened. In episode 1 he is the Wise Man and towards the end you only see the girl waking up in the grass and making her way ‘back’.

One wonders whether he has been transferred into the world? But she doesn't seem to worry about it. There is also no ‘logging out’ and if you are in a VMMORPG, why do you have to sleep, drink/eat or go to the toilet at all.

In the same way, the 30-year period raises questions. Is that 30 years rl or ig? ...

The anime has an exciting storyline, but it lacks any real depth or suspense.

The first four episodes are so annoying that I was on the verge of dropping the anime. Rick our MC is dripping with self-doubt, even though he should know better than anyone what powers he has. To make matters worse, he was also bullied. This nonsense culminated in the ridiculously high requirements for admission to the Adventure. It felt like a final exam for the S-Class was being held here and not a test of suitability for the adventure.

From episode 5 onwards, the storyline became more stable and the anime even became ...

Preliminary (12/12 eps)
A rather flat plot. What the viewer inevitably notices is the level increase that our hero goes through in the dungeon. After just 2-4 waves of a handful of monsters, his level has risen to several hundred. A few episodes later, we see his comrades struggling through the dungeon and reaching a meagre level 20-30. - These numbers are so confusing and basically say nothing that you are literally begging for an explanation - unfortunately we don't get an answer and have to continue to be annoyed by these inconsistencies.
About the story. The romantic scenes are refreshing, but our hero can only do something with ...

Preliminary (24/24 eps)
The storyline has lost a lot of action and gained a lot of comedy elements.
The whole season is a bit like a "filler episode". Although some meaningful things happen, the story is not really continued. In summary, Rimuru consolidates his state and establishes economic areas.
For almost 12 episodes, the festival is portrayed in all its facets and actually implies that there are no sensible ideas for this anime as to how the story should actually continue.
Although we have waited so long for a sequel, I don't think that the story will be developed in a meaningful way in the near future. I think the project ...

Weak storyline, the plot is boring. I can't understand why some reviewers talk about "rebirth in another world". I didn't even notice a scene like that.

The episodes are action-packed but most of the scenes don't make sense. Like episode 8, for example. The hole in the wall is patched up with a spell, only to then open a new hole in a different place during a counterattack.

Military and strategic decisions are absolute nonsense. On second glance, they probably tried to add a "harem touch" but apparently didn't quite follow through with this idea.

I really wonder where all these animes without a meaningful story come from. ...

Spoiler
The storyline is very flat and the main character is naive.

I find the intro/outro confusing as it implies that there is a “different world” in which they are transported or end up.

The MC involuntarily accumulates a harem. But since he doesn't even recognize the obvious interest of his childhood friend, this only ends in silly, pointless scenes that could have been saved.

The action part is pathetic. The daily news is more exciting than any fight I've seen so far. Also, it's not clear why he deliberately chooses to do the “wrong” things. That doesn't show a strong, masculine character, but it comes pretty close ...
