One of the similarities of these shows is that in order for the company in case of Wake Up, Girls! and the school for Love Live! School Idol Project to not be closed, they had an idea from the famous idol groups in the respective shows to produce and create an idol group of their own. Secondly, both shows show the struggles and hardships in forming an idol group, how they will work together, and on how they can improve themselves for them to become more popular. Lastly, both shows have great songs for audience to enjoy.

Cute, sweet and adorable. That's what these two shows are. Love knows no boundaries. A relationship between a cat and a rabbit or a relationship between a rich girl that became the right hand of her delinquent crush is possible. If you're looking for a sweet and cute romcom then these two great shows are for you.

If you liked Detroit Metal City add

...then you might like Senyuu. add

The setting might be different but the fact that they are both hilarious shows and are somewhat short anime, DMC being only about 12 minutes and Senyuu, only about 5 minutes, but can leave you laughing up until the end are what makes these show interesting.

There have been many shows that features a group of friends having love interest with each other and/or one of the character in the group will fall in-love with someone foreign to them and Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo and Nagi no Asukara are example of the said theme. While Sakurasou does not feature supernatural creatures like Nagi no Asukara but features weird people, they both have the same feeling and the most important part of both, the characters' development that improves the show more.

As for myself, these two gave me the urge to watch more romance with drama and both of them are good series to watch if you're looking for an anime with the said genre.

Though a bit different for Girls und Panzer is a bit lighter, sweet and features younger characters while Senjou no Valkyria, or Valkyria Chronicles in English, is more serious and features older characters, both shows can give you the action and enjoyment that you're looking for with some drama included.

Female protagonist of both series are 2D girl that became real and changed the normal life of the male protagonist. Both manga have ecchi, harem and comedy as their genre.
