An exploration of morality, told through a charming comedy space-western. Despite it's flawed animation, Trigun sticks out as one of my favorites.
Trigun explores Vash's ideology: "No one has the right to take the life of another" and how that ideology clashes with the dangerous world around him. I especially like how his ideology and reputation as a dangerous outlaw clashes/contrasts with that of one of my all-time favorite characters, Wolfwood, a priest who's ideology is that killing is justified if it's to save an innocent (unrelated, but his cross gun is super cool!).
