S.K.T: Swallow Knights Tales

Both stories have many interesting characters, take place in a steampunk-like world of magic and science, and feature a good mix of fantasy, action, adventure, drama and comedy. But in Fullmetal Alchemist the plot revolves around alchemists, and in S.K.T it revolves around knights. Endymion Kyrian, the protagonist in S.K.T, is similar in appearance to Edward Elric and in personality to Alphonse Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. He has no brothers, but he has two close friends, Kis Cezyr and Karon Sharpentooth, who are 12 years older than him and look after him like older brothers (but sometimes their concern for him looks like they are in love with him). Kis is very sweet, friendly and playful, and regularly teases his friends with various jokes and pranks (but sometimes he becomes evil and dangerous, so his friends are a little afraid of him), while Karon is very serious, responsible and reliable, and, according to the people around him, he is an ideal knight.

"Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle" and "Dusk Howler" are comedy shounen stories where an "ordinary" human ended up in an "ordinary" demon castle and radically changed the lives of the "ordinary" demon king and other "ordinary" monsters that live there. "Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle" is a fantasy story where the demon king kidnapped a human princess and keeps her captive in his demonic castle, but thanks to her cunning and skill, she is able to freely roam the castle and force different monsters to do her life in this castle as comfortable and cozy as possible. And the demon king regularly forgives the princess for her pranks and patiently waits for the hero to find the demon castle and save the princess, and he even secretly helps the hero on his journey so that the hero can reach the demon castle as soon as possible. And "Dusk Howler" is a LitRPG story about the virtual MMORPG game "Trikia", where the great and terrible necromancer Nine (undead), who is the head of the monster guild Dusk Howler and the owner of the black castle Dark Tower, just for fun became a combat mentor for the timid and naive wizard Jaiha (human), who just entered the game in the village for beginners. Jaiha didn't read the instruction for the game, so he regularly gets into dangerous or embarrassing situations because he is the only human in the guild that consists of vampires, werewolves, and other monsters.

- Both webtoons are based on bromance novels by the same author, Taesun. - Both webtoons are illustrated by yaoi artists: "Doctor's Rebirth" is illustrated by artist Dobin ("Master? The novels "Dusk Howler" (shounen, bromance, VRMMORPG) and "Doctor's Rebirth" (shounen, bromance, isekai, medical) are the only Taesun's novels where the events take place in the "murim" (the "ancient Chinese" martial arts world). The novel "Dusk Howler" consists of two parts: the first part tells about the first server (the "European" world of sword and sorcery), while the second part tells about the second server (the "ancient Chinese" martial arts world), however, in the manhwa "Dusk Howler", there is only the "European" server because the novel "Dusk Howler" consists of about 12 volumes, but the manhwa "Dusk Howler" showed only the events from the first two volumes of the novel. In the other novels by Taesun, events take place in the "European" world of sword and sorcery: "Game Master Mion" (shounen, VRMMORPG), "Dynamite" (shounen, romance, music, VRMMORPG), "Thanatos" (shounen, VRMMORPG), "Deadline of Silver" (shounen, fantasy, vampires), "The Phantom Master" (shounen, romance, fantasy, isekai), "The Dragon Master" (josei (where the protagonist is an asexual teenage boy who pretends to be a magical girl, and his love interest is a heterosexual teenage boy who is unrequitedly in love with this magical girl), magical academy, fantasy, post-apocalyptic), "Master of the Divine Beasts" (shoujo, romance, reverse harem, fantasy), "Chitra" (shoujo, romance, reverse harem, fantasy, isekai, game system).

"The Founder of Diabolism" and "Dusk Howler" are mysterious action stories where several clans or guilds hunt undead, ghosts, demons, etc., but "The Founder of Diabolism" is a BL story that tells about a romantic relationship between the two bishounens, while "Dusk Howler" is a shounen story with BL subtext that tells about a bromance relationship between the three bishounens. Both stories are adaptations of the novels of the same name. Both the novel and the manhua "The Founder of Diabolism" take place in the "ancient Chinese" world where people learn martial arts to achieve immortality. Both the novel and the manhwa "Dusk Howler" take place mainly in the virtual MMORPG game "Trikia" and sometimes in modern South Korea. The first part of the novel "Dusk Howler" tells about the first server (the "European" world of sword and sorcery), while the second part tells about the second server (the "ancient Chinese" non-magical martial arts world), however, in the manhwa "Dusk Howler", there is only the "European" server because the novel "Dusk Howler" consists of about 12 volumes, but the manhwa "Dusk Howler" showed only the events from the first two volumes of the novel. Nine, the deuteragonist in "Dusk Howler", is a romantic, eccentric and childish undead / necromancer who is similar to Wei Wuxian, the protagonist in "The Founder of Diabolism", while Mori, the tritagonist in "Dusk Howler", is a cold, strict and caring dark elf / swordsman who is similar to Lan Wangji, the deuteragonist in "The Founder of Diabolism". Nine and Mori are best friends who have been living together in a private home and acting like a loving married couple for several years, but they often quarrel and fight because Nine is a sexual pervert who likes to do indecent deeds, while Mori is an asexual tsundere who gets angry every time Nine behaves in an indecent manner. But the plot of "Dusk Howler" mainly revolves around the bromance relationship between Nine and the protagonist Jaiha and pays little attention to the bromance relationship between Nine and Mori. Jaiha is a shy, modest and hardworking human / wizard who agreed to become Nine's pupil because Nine promised that he would turn Jaiha from a pathetic loser into a great man. Both Wei Wuxian (the founder of Demonic Cultivation) and Nine (a.k.a. Chaos Lord, Dark Tower Master, etc.) are sweet and friendly jokers, but they have a reputation for being great and terrible villains because they have a huge power and regularly perform ambiguous actions. However, Wei Wuxian follows the path of a hero and does predominantly good deeds, while Nine follows the path of a villain and does predominantly evil deeds.

The protagonist in "Zettai BL" is some unnamed minor character in the BL story who has realized that he is a minor character in the BL story and decides to protect himself at all costs from his becoming a protagonist in the BL story, while the protagonist in "Dusk Howler" is the naive nerd Kim Jee-Ha who knows nothing about beauty, fashion and romance, but as a result of an absurd set of circumstances, he started playing the virtual game "Trikia" ("Thrace") and, in this game, created a male magician Jaiha who looks like a beautiful goddess or a fairy princess and regularly finds himself in typical romantic situations that you can see in some shoujo manga like "Fruits Basket" or "Boys Over Flowers". The female protagonist's "harem" in "Otome Game" consists of heterosexual guys and bisexual girls, while the male protagonist's "harem" in "Dusk Howler" consists of heterosexual girls, heterosexual guys, and ambiguous characters (for example, Chaos Lord, the protagonist's combat mentor, is an eccentric and childish bishounen who behaves like a masculine man and a feminine woman, wears men's and women's clothes, and flirts with women and men). - No ecchi. "Otome Game" is a josei story that is intended for female readers, while "Dusk Howler" is a shounen story with BL subtext like "Black Butler" that is intended for male readers (teenage boys) and female readers (fujoshi). - A feminine protagonist. Catarina Claes, the protagonist in "Otome Game", is a beautiful, sociable and hardworking girl who wins people's hearts with her feminine charm, while Kim Jee-Ha (a.k.a. Jaiha), the protagonist in "Dusk Howler", is a pretty, shy and hardworking guy who wins people's hearts with his androgynous charm. - A dense protagonist. Catarina is very naive and she does not even suspect that she has a "harem". Jaiha suffers from an inferiority complex and considers himself ugly, so he thinks that the members of his "harem" are flirting with him because they feel sorry for him or bully him. - A villain protagonist. Catarina is a villainess who suddenly turned into a kind girl through the reincarnation, while Jaiha is a kind guy who accidentally agreed to become a disciple of the evil necromancer Nine (a.k.a. Chaos Lord). - A game. Catarina is a humble 17-year-old high school student who was hit by a car on her way to school and was reborn in a fantasy world that looks like the otome game "Fortune Lover", while Jee-Ha is an unemployed 21-year-old man who started playing as a wizard with the game name Jaiha in the VRMMORPG "Trikia" ("Thrace") in order to overcome his social phobia. - A clear goal. Catarina wants to change the game's plot to avoid a bad ending, while Jee-Ha wants to transform himself from a feminine and cowardly man who is bullied by his father and other people into a manly and brave man who is respected by his father and other people. - A hobby. Catarina enjoys gardening, while Jaiha likes to learn different skills: elemental magic, sewing clothes, blacksmithing, etc.
