Ore ga watashi ni naru talks about a young boy's journey as he one day turns into a girl. The main character Akira is unlike other gender benders manga that I have read. Ore ga watashi ni naru made showcases that change can be hard and that it not always easy. In other gender bender manga I have seen other MC's transition and coming to accept their new selves more easily than Akira. The title of the manga is the exact representation of what the story is about, "Becoming Me." Akira changed when he was in elementary and the story showcases of how he come ... to get used to living with his new gender. As Akira gets older she still faces difficulties with the change.

Ore ga watashi ni naru made is a well thought manga that poses many questions (some that have never crossed my mind before) such as whether gender dictates what can someone like or what they can do. Akira learns that it is not important what makes a girl but rather, what kind of person he wants to become. This factor alone is why I give character 10/10. Supporting characters also undergo some character development in the manga. I won't talk about what kind of character development, in order not to spoil anything. A cool thing that I like about the manga is that many times before a supporting character is introduced, the back of their head or their silhouette is shown many times until they get introduced to the main character. I like this because I think it represents or shows that the main character is starting to open up to more people.

The art in my opinion has gotten better throughout the months.

10/10 I enjoy this manga! I keep on rereading the chapters because the characters are so cute! Akira is the cutest character in the series though. Her hesitation to change and wanting to change are so endearing that I can't help but cheer her on and want to protect her. Also rereading it has been fun. I keep on seeing here and there in the art or in the text of things I have missed of the author foreshadowing some things.

So far I have only read 41 chapters of the manga. I read them raw.

I really like Beastars. I started reading it after watching the first episode of it and read the manga after being curious after the 1st episode. That was a big mistake on my part because I binged read the whole thing in a single night. I thought Beastars was not going to amount to much and was going to be something like Zootopia but boy was I wrong. Disney would not make this into a movie with the dark themes. The manga goes through such good character development with the interactions of the main characters Legoshi and Haru. It goes more into the relationship of ... carnivores and herbivores as prey and hunter. Eating meat has consequences in the human like setting of the story. It delves into other complex themes such as: addiction, relationships, and racial discrimination (herbivores & carnivores and inter specie relationships). The manga goes through some twist and turns that are sometimes easy to predict while other times there are some that are hard to predict. The character interactions are also precious with its themes of friendship. The main character's relationship with a certain senpai is complex from the way it developed throughout the series. The two end up having a beautiful friendship where it looks like they have each others backs. The main character is also a sweet character with how he views those close to him. It is also endearing to how much he tries to stay with ideals with the pressure of the world trying to get him to conform to the rule soft society. Beastars is a must manga to read and you guys should also check out the anime as its still ongoing right now. As of now I have read 148 chapters of Beastars.

Another isekai manga where MC gets transported into another world and gets treated like crap. The only person nice to her first is her guard. MC's guard and her seem to be developing feelings for each other. The story felt a little rushed. It makes sense the story is only 2 volumes. I would have given it a higher rating if the story was longer. In the end they were introducing new characters but they did not really get to be shown off because of the shortness of the story. I feel like the story had more potential if it was longer. There are still ... some things that need to answered but I guess it will be left as open ended. Overall it was a good read.
